As the dust cleared, Junbei took a seat upon the carcass of the former head of the Wingless movement, Ivan. The dust funneled towards the sky, the area clearing up to reveal the damage caused to the terrain, backtracking towards his Captain’s position, Nico was approaching in a distance towards the sacked encampment. Raven had regained consciousness, though battered, she’d take Chance onto her back, and through sheer willpower alone, was she able to keep up with Nico’s pace. “Are you sure you don’t want me to carry you like before, Mademoiselle?” Nico asked, ruffling through his pockets for a cigarette.
“No thank you. We need to find your Captain, immediately.” Raven stated. “Agreed.” Nico responded, finding a cigarette and with much delight, he placed the cylindrical tobacco stick against the girth of his lips, igniting it’s body, suctioning in the carbon monoxide with the muscle memory present in his jaws. After a few moments, the trio arrived, to see the sight of the Captain sitting atop the dead body of Ivan. However, the flat jungle terrain they had been traversing against had come to an end, the only thing that stood before them was a ninety foot ditch. “Your one crazy bastard… Junbei.” Nico exclaimed, sliding into the ditch downwards to his Captain. “I think I went a bit overboard this time… honestly.” Junbei stated grinning. Entering into range of his Haki, in the distance about 300 Meters descending from the North West, a winged force approached towards their current location.
“Hehe… Looks like we have some more company arriving…” Junbei stated grinning, reaching from his back for his Blitz Sticks. “Junbei… Listen to me. I need you to listen to what I’m about to tell you.” Raven stated. “The man who leads the Shandia is a man by the name of Sango… He’s not like any other Winged Warrior you’ve faced so far. If two of you meet, one of you shall surely perish.” Raven stated, taking into account both Junbei and Sango’s nature. “I want to meet him… This Sango.” Junbei responded moments after the woman’s warning. “It’s about time I end this discrimination against the Wingless. After hearing all sides of the story, I’ve pretty much learned Prometheus is behind all of this… However, he’s not the only problem. The problem are the Wingless on a whole. Your people for the most part have two general conflicting ideals of the Wingless. One, that were monsters from the blues who come to raid Skypiea. Two, were playthings for Nobles to own. I’m going to end these two conceptions. I’ve eliminated the Wingless HQ, they’ll scatter with no head to lead them now. My second problem is beating into these Nobles heads that not all Wingless are monsters. I don’t want to abolish the Human Consensus Act… My conclusion is that it should be re-written to target criminal humans and not all humans. War is a casualty of living on these seas, even long after I left, more Wingless can spring up. Keeping slaves only harbors hate, this creates a cycle.” Junbei stated.
“I’m going to-” the man’s words left a shake in Raven’s soul. “Junbei… If you do that… you’ll become an enemy of every Winged…” Raven stated. “It’s my condition. I’ll return here one day… If no fit God is crowned, I’ll do as stated prior.” Junbei concluded. The Shandia arrived, hovering above the crater that now contained the bodies of several Wingless that Junbei had decimated.
“They’re all Wingless.” one of the Shandia warriors uttered in fear. “One man caused all of this damage… Who in the world is this child?” another warrior asked, staring intensely at the redhead below him. Hovering to the sky, Junbei was now eye-level with the army, who startled by his hovering motion, drew their fire guns and aim it towards the male. “I have no need to fight you. I want to meet your leader Sango.” Junbei stated. “How do you know our chief’s name, Wingless!?” one of the soldier’s shouted. Deciding to tell a little lie to mess with the warriors, “I’m a God from the Blue Dwellers, Junbei Von Echo.” Junbei stated, chuckling slightly. “A God… You Dweller’s serve a God… does that mean you're responsible for the Wingless coming here to Skypiea!?” the Winged warrior shouted.
“The Land is governed by many foolish ‘Gods’ and men don’t adhere our commands… They live free.” Junbei simply responded. “I see…” one of the Shandia responded. “Well… I’m sorry, God Echo… I can’t permit you to see my leader after witnessing this carnage below.” the Shandian warrior responding, putting away his gun to draw his sword. Charging his tonfa with electricity, Junbei danced through the pack of warriors, slamming his tonfa into the five of the men’s throat, sending them plummeting towards the ground from paralysis. Surrounding the man, the men opened fire with their fire guns, the circular trap consisted of ten warriors. Hovering upwards, the bullets shot each of the warriors who opened arms against the Songbird, his body now missing from the fray.
Dashing into another pack of twenty, in a dart like fashion, from a diagonal descent, the moment the man was arced in the center of the pack, he stopped his motion, released a series of continuous high frequency waves at 180 decibels which crippled the warriors hearing, causing them to drop their guns, clutching at their ears as their ear tissue perished. As the twenty warriors lost consciousness and fell towards the ground, a voice in the distance shouted, “Enough!” approaching at incredible speeds. Tattered and covered in wounds, Shikota, carrying Paulie on his shoulder managed to catch up to the attacking force. “If I didn’t stand a chance… None of you will. Stand down.” Shikota commanded. “What was the order?” Shikota inquired. “The boss… wanted to meet him but surely we can’t!-” the man’s statement was interrupted by Shikota’s glare. “Are you doubting Sango’s ability? This man struggle to take on Paulie and myself… Him being able to fight Sango one on one… Impossible.” Shikota stated with utmost pride. “Oh?” Junbei inquired grinning. “I shall lead you there myself, Redhead.” Shikota stated. Grinning, “Liar. I can feel your heart trembling… You’re afraid… that your leader will suffer the same fate… However, mixed within those emotions of yours are truths… How strong is this Sango?” Junbei thought.
