Rainbase - Rain Dinners

[Haki Training] Starlight Training Before The Show! The Behemoth and Songbird's Encounter! Latest?cb=20130314202122&path-prefix=es

"Jesus. You gotta be fucking kidding me... He's disappeared now." Nico exclaimed. It's been awhile since the Auburn Songbird performed, since his rumoured jazz swing shows on Jaya had been spread across Paradise from his new admirers. His appearance in Paradise got him an unusual booking at the Rain Casino's Diner within the city of Rainbase's walls. However, Junbei had the heart of an adventurer built into his very fibre, passing off the medial duties of organising the venue to his crew while he explored the city, in search of a top notch Curry spot. He was starving, to the point where he couldn't even concentrate on the pieces he was scheduled to play within the next hour. While Nico was off galavanting with women, Junbei used this time to sneak way and do some sight seeing, however, with the recent increase of bounty on his head, he tried to stick to streets fully crowded areas, where he'd attempt to blend in as one of the locals. His auburn hair left wild and spiking, with the only order noticed lying in his two styled twin tails, which was the result of a woman playing with his hair, the man had been waltzing around the marketing district. His kimono cutting off at his ankles, with it's fish scaled embroider etched into the fabric of the red starched cotton make.

One hundred meters away from his venue, the man stumbled across a curry shop in the distance, not pleased by the food the Rainy Diners was surviving, it was a little bit too high classed and controlled for his current palate. 'Lacar's Curry Hut', the sign glowed, it's neon tint negated by the fierce sun, which intensity faded as the afternoon became more apparent. Taking a deep breath to inhale the aroma which leaked from the Curry Shop, the male looked towards the shop with much enthusiasm and drool, advancing towards the institution on the broad road, twenty meter's in width and stretching onwards until a three way junction appeared, which was around fifty meters away. The sides of each street was plastered with similar architecture to that found in Skypiea but with a more cultural flare and intricacy in it's built. However, none of this mattered, he was eight meters away from the shop and his advance caused him to bump into a quite a few people, apologising as his advance was out of hunger, not rudeness. "It smells so good." Junbei said grinning.

Walking down the street Geno reached into his pocket and pulled out a money pouch that was full of Beli. It was quite fat as he had accumulated some extra cash during his traveling. It was towards the evening period so the streets were somewhat empty. Only a few people were on the streets and desert offered a cool night to accompany them. Geno was enjoying the Royal city but he could only think about the things to come. Also his hunger that had been created by not really eating lunch. His stomach made a loud grumbling noise. “I agree” he responded rubbing his belly. He looked around for a moment before reaching the shopping district. He could see the various neon signs that lit up the district. He would proceed to admire the sight before him in awe. It was rare he got to see such things due to living and traveling to remote areas. He was more used to the natural beauty of the planet than man mad structures. As he moved towards the food district he would stop for a moment. A certain smell caught his nose in a instant. A sweet, yet spicy smell that would lead him to a unexpected encounter. He closed his eyes and sniffed the air like some kind of animal. “Oh my, that smells quite delicious I wonder what that is.”

Walking towards the smell he would not notice a small red haired man (small in comparison to Geno that is) bump into him. No doubt because of their difference in stature the spiky haired kid would fall over. Geno would be startled by the exchange and try to help the small lad if he were to tip over suddenly. “I am so sorry. Let me help you up there.” He would say holding out a large hand towards the lad.

'Clump.' Or was it more of a 'poff' sound? Either way, that was the sound that Junbei's body made as it hit the floor after butting into a citizen of Rainbase on his way to the Curry Shop. Now, Junbei wasn't a short man, so when he fell, one thought instantly shot into his mind. "What or Who in the world did I bump into?" As his six foot body hit the dusty street, a small cloud of dust formed around him, turning towards the direction of the collided, "Sorry about that, I was starving but-" Junbei exclaimed as his head turned toward's a leg. After further analysis, the Songbird's head trailed upwards, before him was a gigantic of a man, whose sculpted body was nothing to scoff at.

As the man extended his hand towards Junbei, the Songbird returned the gesture by extending his hand. Though, it was much more than an assistance, it was as if the man had picked up a feather off the ground. "WOW! Your huge!" Junbei exclaimed, his eyes almost popping out of his sockets. Shuffling around the man from all cardinal points, he placed his hand on his chin, "You've been through quite a few battles haven't you too... To gain a body like that, so well-defined. Your almost as toned as my master Cappadonna." Junbei exclaimed, nodding his head in self-approval.

The titan's dread locks stretched to his shoulder and Junbei wasn't sure if he'd offended the man with his statement but it wasn't everyday he'd encounter someone who was almost eight foot in height, he was almost as tall as Juju, the Dial Artisan on his crew, he'd start to ponder slightly in his head what'd be like for the two to meet. A vicious rumble roared from Junbei's stomach, so loud that the waitress in the Curry Shop who had froze in the window at the size of the man and the incident with their collision, it'd looked to the outsiders that he was picking or fighting with Junbei.

"Sorry once again. I'm kind of clumsy when I'm hungry. I should've watched where I'm going. I tend to rattle off like this at times."
Junbei exclaimed. "Lemme treat ya to some Curry!" Junbei said pointing at the shop. "On me for being such a jerk, Rishi Rishi." Junbei exclaimed grinning. If the man take up his offer, the two would usher into the Curry Shop, if not, he'd wait a bit to see what the man would respond to his statements but the hunger was so real, he'd only wait a few moments for him to do so.

At the point of collusion Geno snapped out of his trance that had befallen him due to the smell of good food. He stopped in his tracks unfazed by the incident but he still apologized. Because he was not watching his path someone had gotten hurt when he did not intend to. Given his size and title Geno was quite the polite fellow until provoked naturally. Or if he found something annoying about the person he was interacting with. The spikey, red-haired lad began to speak before looking upward. He saw the giant of a man who stood before him reaching down to help him up.

The lad returned the gesture and reached up to grab Geno's hand. Of course he lifted him up easily but with a gentle touch. As to not throw him on accident. Geno was very aware of his own strength so he made sure to keep it in check on the regular. The lad spoke in shock of Geno's size as if he had never seen someone so big. If anything it made Geno laugh more over being insulted. He was used to this kind of response because of his size he came off intimidating at first. Then the lad made a very keen observation as he could tell Geno was no stranger to combat. Scars and tatoos were all over his body from years of fighting. “Ya you can say that heh..” before Geno could speak more of the subject the boy's stomach made a vicious rumble. One that would rival his own from earlier. “I see you too have come in search of food.” Geno would give a hardly laugh before his stomach responded to such a action with a gluttonous roar.

The red-haired lad would quickly speak and offer to pay for a meal. Of course Geno would only be a fool to turn down a free meal. Granted he had the funds to pay for his own he would not turn down hospitality. “I will gladly accept your offer. The name is Geno Ranzu, it is a pleasure to meet ya.”

He would turn to the curry shop realizing the smell originated from that area. A bit of drool ran down the right side of his mouth as he closed his eyes. He took in a deep whiff of the spicy yet sweet aroma.

Junbei wasn't one for much small talk when he was hungry, giving the man a slight nod, Junbei took the lead and cleared the curtains of the Curry Shop, which was more like a shack in retrospect. It had a rustic design, a long extending table about 50 inches in length, 22 inches in width, with several stool chairs on it's outside. Behind the counter was a gentleman with a thick moustache, receiving dishes through a kitchen window. Sitting at the chairs positioned in the centre of the table, the man took a seat, hopping onto the stool and slamming his hands on the tables oak hardwood. "Fifty Plates of Beef Curry with dried plum on rice!" Junbei exclaimed. Grinning, pointing his finger to the locked gentleman to his left, "And whatever my friend here Geno wants! All on me so keep em' coming!" Junbei shouted. As the shopkeeper stood astonished at the man's order, he'd wait a few moments more to take the behemoth's order before moving off. "Sorry!" Junbei exclaimed. "I'm so rude." Junbei said scratching his head after realising he'd known the man's name but he hadn't given his own. "My name's Junbei Von Echo. I'm just a travelling musician for the most part!" Junbei stated propping his elbows onto the table to prop up his face as he turned in the vicinity of the robed warrior.

After a few moments, the waitress and the remaining of the waiting staff ushered from the back room, filling up the table with orders that couldn't fit through the kitchen's window. "Food! I haven't had good curry since Jaya!" Junbei stated, as his eyes glowed with immense sparkle and the drool flew like the oceans against Noah's Arc from his mouth. He was more than hungry, the famished nature of his stomach roared as loud as the wildest lion in the pride, hunting for fresh game. Except, there was no hunting, his meal was already properly put together for him. Grabbing onto his utensil's, he'd wait until Geno got his dishes, whatever he'd ordered before digging in, he'd already been rude enough for the day.

After helping the lad up he would not respond initially as hunger was taking over him. Geno couldn't really complain because he knew how that felt. Food being one of the primary things to live outside of water and shelter it was needed regularly. When Geno was poor he went days at a time without eating a full meal. So he wasn't about to scold the lad over something minor. They would proceed into the curry shop, Junbei would take a seat at the counter first and Geno would follow. He needed to duck his head under the doorway as to not hit his head. He made his way in and noticed the inside was a bit old schooled. A rustic design that was easy on the eyes. However, it was to be noted that it was very clean. A few waitresses scurried around the area to help the evening rush as people were just getting out of work and such. Geno followed Junbei to the counter and sat down next to him. He looked into the kitchen to see a chef masterfully handle several dishes at once as the waitress at the front handled orders at the counter. Junbei did not give her a chance to ask he brutishly slammed his hands on the desk and yelled out his order. Geno could only laugh as he propped his head up on his left hand that was arched. His elbow rested on the counter as he looked over at the waitress. She looked over at Geno waiting for his order.

“I am not one for curry but I will just have what he is having.”

Junbei would then realize he had went this whole time without saying his name. A apology was accepted but not needed. Then it hit Geno he had heard the name before. “Wait you are Junbei? Same Junbei The Song bird!?” He was in shock, as this man had become a well known pirate in a short time. It made Geno a bit embarrassed at first as he was not used to being in someone's shadow literally or figuratively. He would chuckle to himself for a moment. 'I got some catching up to do.' He thought to himself. The food began to pour out and it smelled delicious. Not saying anything else after words Geno would pick up the plate and utensil and begin to scarf down some food.

"We're all caged song birds, waiting for someone to hear our sound"

As the aroma of the curry touched the Songbird's nostrils, several dishes contents began to disappear in seconds. The flavor and texture of the rice mushing against his molar's as the churned foodstuff trailed down his esophagus in one smooth motion. It reminded him of days when he was stranded on that lonely island in the South Blue, isolated from people and nourishment, a feeling that often humbled him in a sense in moments like these. "Rishi Rishi!" the man exclaimed at Geno's realization of his criminal record. "They started calling me that along the way honestly... I'm just a musician whose sounds tend to get a little out of hand at times." Junbei concluded, gobbling the remainder of the roti skin, which contained a thick stew like mixture of channa and beef. "I had some good times so far though. I even met up with a few big name pirates... Sucks that Cappadonna got locked up. Right after he had just finished teaching me too..." Junbei exclaimed, his mind wondering to thoughts about bounties and their criminal records. Snapping back to the present, the man was approached by the waitress who shyly tapped him on his shoulder.

"Your the Auburn Songbird right?" the woman asked blushing. With a curried turkey leg stuck in his mouth, he turned responded muffled, "Mhm How may I help you?" Junbei inquired. "I-I-" the woman stammered multiple times before getting to her actual statement. "I heard your music is heavenly. I wanted to see your show in the Casino but I can't afford a ticket." the woman exclaimed. "EH!" Junbei exclaimed, dropping his meat back onto the plate. "Did you say... pay for a ticket?" Junbei inquired, lost at the notion people paid to see his performances. "Yeah, it's 200,000 Beli a ticket!" the woman announced. "EH!" Junebi exclaimed, this was the first time the pirate musician had ever heard of this pricing for his shows. "Damn... Must be Charlotte and Caprice again... I'mma sort them out later." Junbei said clenching his fist. Scarfing down the remainder of the food, the woman wiped his hands into the provided napkins. Resting his hand on the woman's shoulder, "Alright. I'll give everyone here a show!" Junbei exclaimed.

Sitting back down in his chair, the musician began to strum notes from his air guitar, crafting a melody that infected the whole room. As his lips lifted from it's bottom rim, the man began to sing a haunting melody which a cherry tune to it. The music took a quick tangent, turning into a merry tune that filled the bar with immense joy. The patrons began to abandon their tables, and though the room was small, began to dance with a slight jig. The merriment continued for awhile, Junbei sung until the woman was truly content, and with that, hours began to fade away. The stars began to etch into the sky.

The plates began to pile up as the two went to town on the food that was presented to them. Geno could only chuckle at the idea of being behind the lad that sat next to him in terms of fame. No doubt he was most likely stronger for the moment. It was a humbling experince, yet Geno was never a arrogant one. He was always aware of the fact of someone being stronger than him. It actually enticed him even more so to test his might against others. Of course he had some form of tact when it was a casual thing. More so a avoid public destruction and draw attention. It was not to wise to draw the ever watching eye of the world government. He listened intently as he tilted the bowl up while grabbing noddles floating in the juice with the chop stick. Junbei had seen some action from sounds of it. Adventures with a crew was something Geno himself envied. For the most part he was a lone wolf wandering the land looking for the next big thing. 'Cappadonna' a name that rung in his head. A person who was known for his fists like Geno was. Except he was doing time in the joint after getting captured by a upstart marine.

“That is a shame really. Well it could always be worse, he could be dead. Being locked up only means a second chance if he manages to find a way out.”

After Geno spoke, the woman would promptly interrupt, confirming Junbei's name. It seems Geno draw some unwanted attention. With a smile he finished the last plate before him, completing the mountain of dirty dishes before him. Geno kind of tuned out as he grabbed the water that was ordered along with this. He washed down the remainder of the food. Then Junbei offered to play some of his music. Geno wasn't a music buff but he couldn't turn down a free show. Especially after heating the price of a usual ticket. He would rather be training then spend that much beli. Not to mention he had been saving up for a vessel to get around freely. For the moment he been using others as a mode of transportation. Paying other pirates or trade vessels to help him get place to place. This was no different. He would only listen as the music filled the room. All eyes were on Junbei, it was as if the world went silent for a moment. Time began to skip by as Junbei played his tunes. This gave the time for Geno to digest all of the food he just ingested.

As the diner began to grow smaller Geno would stand up from his chair. Junbei was paying anyways so he didn't have to reach for his coin purse strapped to his large waist. He looked over at Junbei for a moment who would most likely be lost in is music. “Spar with me, I am no Cappadonna but I could show you some tricks. Maybe you could teach me what he taught you.” It was abrupt but knowledge was more valuable than any coin. At least in Geno's mind, one can amass money easily in this day in age. But knowledge of combat and the world was something that was invaluable. He would hope that Junbei would only accept his offer.

"We're all caged song birds, waiting for someone to hear our sound"

As the festivities came to an end, the Auburn Songbird got great joy from seeing the pleased eyes of the waitress and the listeners within the bar, however, he could tell that something was plaguing the colossal man, Geno's mind all throughout the dinner. As the man looked towards the Red Head, his words couldn't help but bring nothing but a smile to his face. I'd been awhile since he'd had a spar, especially since his masters constant slugfests in the South Blue. Finishing off his melody, Junbei gave the waitress a hug and a kiss on the cheek, causing the woman to faint, leaving the fee for the meal on the table. "Rishi Rishi... Follow me!" Junbei stated, getting into the mode of being a sensei, as he happily trotted along out of the shop. However, Junbei was no fool, a man of his size, calm and confident enough to challenge him even after learning his identity, he'd figure this man was either immensely strong or just looking for a good fight, he had no intent of ever underestimating everyone, especially since his master drilled into his head the notion of never having preconceptions of a fight unless having the data to back it up. As the men traversed through the streets, Junbei lead the charge, exiting the city after traveling quite a bit, however, luckily, the bar was on the edge of the city and surrounding all Alabasta city was an open desert terrain. Between the two of them was merely one meter, as Junbei looked up to Geno. Drawing his two Blitz Sticks from his holster underneath his kimono, Junbei tried to explain this as clearly as possible, since neither his master or Cappadonna were exactly, descriptive on how training sessions would go.

"Alright. I fight with tonfa... so I'm not sure if you'd gain anything from that... You seem to be a more hands on kind of guy. However, what I will teach you is a concept Cappadonna taught me. I guess sparing would be the best way to start this all off and oh! to tell you about Haki." Junbei exclaimed. "Haki is life energy at it's core. It's the innate power that most humans possess. And as cliche as it sounds, it's a power that comes from within. They are three kinds of Haki... I can't use the third one but that doesn't mean you can't, it's kind of custom tailored to each person ya know?" Junbei explained. "So I'll start with the two I do know. Go ahead. Try throwing a single punch at me. Or a few... doesn't matter, if you can hit me that is." Junbei said closing his eyes. "This Haki is called Kenbunshoku Haki... or Observation Haki. It gives me a sixth sense of things around me." Junbei concluded, activating his Haki, waiting for Geno's assault.

Junbei jumped up out of his chair, it seemed that he accepted Geno's offer of a spar. A great honor in his eyes being the type of person he was. However, this would prove valued information for later encounters if the two were ever to cross paths on the opposite side. Geno had a good gut feeling that would tell him their fates would not be at a cross road but a merging path. He usually always followed his gut in these situations. He still kept up his guard because things are not always what they are. It would be foolish to let their guard down around someone they just met. Geno was just great at keeping a calm demeanor. He followed Junbei through the sandy streets of Alabasta. Junbei seemed to be leading Geno out of town which would be the logical thing to do. Only meant that the two would be able to show case their ability without hindrance of civilians. A large desert surrounded Alabasta and it was not wise to travel without the proper equipment. Thankfully they were just going to the outskirts of town for a bit and not actually heading out anywhere.

As they got to the edge of town the two would place themselves roughly 50 meters away from the buildings to avoid any collateral damage. Then again there was no true reason to go all out. This was merely a spar. There was no need for a victor or loser. It was about learning new things, expanding ones perspective of combat. Junbei would have begun to take out his weapons. Geno would only take a few paces back to put himself five meters away as Junbei spoke. In terms of reach and raw power Geno had the advantage in his head. He did not get arrogant about it, he only took this into account. As Geno stopped he took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He listened carefully to the words Junbei spoke.

Junbei's choice of weapon was the Tonfa, a versatile fighting style that was to be respected. He let go of the deep breath as he pushed his hands out forward. Geno was relaxing his body completely to get limber for this. Then Geno's eyes opened at the mention of Haki. Something he learned about in his early days of training. His mind was not ready for such a concept. Maybe it was time to climb to a new plateau of power. As Geno stretched he would listen more, making sense of what the red-haired lad spoke of. Geno had a understanding of the universe and how energy flowed in multiple directions. Thus the saying his father passed down to him long ago. 'From one thing, flow ten thousand things.' This was the fundamental of the 'Kami to te.' This was also known as The God Hand. Using ones life energy and the flow of it around them to complete feats that no normal human being would be able to acheieve. It was exciting to be told of more discoveries in the human evolution chain.

[Haki Training] Starlight Training Before The Show! The Behemoth and Songbird's Encounter! Kimkofxii

Geno would have stopped stretching for a moment and took a fighting stance. His right foot became the lead for a moment as his body shifted to the side. A right hand hung low with a open palm facing the ground. While his left arm was bent in a ninety degree angle. It would place his left hand across the front of his torso, a little bit above the waist. He would begin to bounce slightly to stay light on his toes. This was a more relaxed stance that was extremely flexible in what it could achieve. “Let's see what this haki can do.”

Geno knew he was not speedy but that was okay. He was calculated in terms of combat. That was more important than anything. His lead foot pressed into the sand, propelling himself forward. Not moving at top speed, but he would cover five meters in a matter of seconds. Mid dash a right hand would thrust forward with palm facing out. The hand was aimed at the mans center of gravity. Not all of Geno's power was put into it for obvious reasons. Junbei would most likely anticipate the move and dodge left or right. A right dash would only prompt Geno to Suddenly take the outstretched palm and cut to the right in a chopping fashion. A move to the left would give opportunity for the thrust right palm to become a claw and latch onto the lad. Even still the left hand was to be reckoned with. A left hand would only be there as a deterrent to movements made inward. It could be used to strike out or black with a forearm. Regardless what happened afterwards Geno would already have dashed backward out of Junbei's striking range.

"We're all caged song birds, waiting for someone to hear our sound"

The universe was his map and his mind was the omnipresent God's eye, once his Kenbunshoku was active. Not attached to worldly human commonalities such as sight, especially. As Geno took his distance, five meters away, stretching as Junbei did the debrief on Haki, Junbei analysed every aspect of the man's aura. He became one with his body's structure, physical and spiritual, creating a mental outline of his psyche and the mere feet that separated the two. With a lunge from his right foot, Geno advanced forward in a streamline fashion, from using a previous stance which involved shifting the weight between his legs, known for being used to help regulate the force of inward strides. Junbei assumed his normal combat stance, no tensing of the muscles, no nervous nature or tells, the usual run of the mill that'd been drilled into his body for years, feet shifted a few inches apart, allowing him to shift weight to either side, right tonfa at his chest and left tonfa, lifted outwards at a eight o' clock position. Enough of his masters jargon which came to him at times like this, mid-stride, the man thrusted his right hand forward, "Right Hand..." Junbei would exclaimed his eyes still firmly shut, proceeding immediately into the next motion.

By end of the utterance, Geno's hand was about fifteen inches from striking range, his longer limbs gave him quite the competitive edge and at this stage, the thrust's target point was revealed to Junbei's mind's eye to be his waistline, specifically, eight inches or so inches (down) from his chest cage. A power struggle wasn't a battle Junbei was willing to levy with this male, shuffling to the right half a meter, the man's body language changed instantly, Geno's hand forming the motion for what seemed to be a chop. The motion was fluid indeed, "Chop." Junbei exclaimed without even thinking.

With every singular word was a motion, as soon as the man's hand coiled and only then, for the attempted chop still within the region of his centre of gravity, Junbei's tonfa extending downwards to lash against the man's elbow or humorous, dependent on the angle(side of the hand shown) in which Geno arced his hand which moved at about Tier 2 Speed(s). Leading with his left hand(moving at Tier 4 speeds), Junbei kept the right tonfa tucked near his chest in case a need to counter any unwanted movements or change of flow.

If the man didn't follow through with the chop, spooked by his capabilities to sense his motion with his eyes close and retreated, Junbei would begin a dialogue to explain how he did so. However, it all lead to a dialogue, if the man did proceed, and his tonfa didn't hit it's mark on his arm, disarming his chop, he'd move swiftly into the next mean of defence, hardening his waistline with Busoshoku Haki.

Geno's eye brows had been raised as he was calling out movements. It was almost as if he could feel Geno's movements around the area. A sort of sixth sense that was completely focused on him. He did indeed move in fluid motions giving a minor opening to attack. The initial arm motion was only met with a chop. Granted Junbei had a full idea of where Geno's strikes were going to be. He never drew attention to the fact Geno's right arm was already hanging low. Geno was not one for flashy moves if it was not needed. Due to his right arm already being low in front of his chest region his next motion would be effortless. Even without this third eye power, Geno was very aware of the situation and had taken precautions. At the point of the tonfa, (blunted short end moving forward) shooting out, even if it were a blurr to Geno's eyes he knew it was coming. A forward arm thrusting movement was very noticeable. It would require Junbei to thrust his whole arm forward giving way for this sign it was coming. As stated before the right arm was already hanging low to attack or block incoming attacks. Given their distance his strike still had a start up time, it would not reach maximum speed in a instant. This told Geno several things in this exchange.

Combining his mind, body and soul. He was able to see clearly what Geno's actions as he did them or before he did them. A sort of mantra, that was attuned to the likes of others. He was not spooked, more so impressed by this whole thing. The tonfa front end slammed into Geno's hand only pushing him back further away than he intended too. It still hurt like hell but it softened the blow on his mid section. He was a big guy tho he could take a solid amount of punishment. He stayed in a fighting stance but he did not advance this time. “Interesting stuff there. You are able to tell where I am attacking and also enhance the strike of a attack.” Geno was trying to rationalize all of this in his head. It wasn't a hard concept as his fighting style utilized that same kind of focus.

It was the purest way of fighting when one thought about it. Mind, body, and soul working together while fighting was the ideal way someone fought. So this was something that could sling shot his strength above the wall he stood at. He shook his hand to try and make the pain go away from the Tonfa strike. Geno was getting pumped up now and awaited for Junbei to respond.

Foresight vision wasn't always perfect, as our mind's scope was based also on our ability to perceive the images fed to us. The dual contact of both fighters strikes pushed each back, the brunt of Geno's force against the man's mid-section was indeed crude, and he could tell it wasn't his strongest lick, moving him five meters, which was more than enough, it happened in a flicker, his obsession with landing the strike on his hand, avoided the obvious details of his guarding right hand. The red wale on his skin had bruises slightly but it was all in the fun of a spar. "Tch Tch... If you attacked me for real, I'd be a goner Rishi Rishi." the Songbird exclaimed chuckling. Opening his eyes, "See how I was able to perceive each motion without the use of my sight. It's called Kenbunshoku Haki or as the Sky Islanders call it Mantra. With it, you can see much further than your eyes ever could... see things that couldn't even been seen with the bare eye... I've even used it to get a read on people's intentions. Whether good or bad..." Junbei conclude. "I think you got a firm grasp of it. The rest is pretty much practice. It's a sixth sense really, independent of sight or hearing but if used correctly, it can be much more useful than prior." Junbei exclaimed, rubbing his mid-section. "Oh. Something Cappadonna left out. It's as good as your own senses... so as you grow, you'll be able to sense more. I've even met someone who could track you from miles away." Junbei concluded.

Putting away his tonfa, "Now. The second kind of Haki... it's called Busoshoku Haki or Armament Haki. It's pretty much like an invisible armour around your body. How thick that armour is.. how thin it is... It's durability and it's longevity is all up to you." Junbei said grinning. Taking off the top half of his kimono to reveal his chest-cage, Junbei pointed to his chest. "I want you to strike me directly in my chest. If you feel the armour, it'll give you a grasp of how it works. Oh, really talented users have a tell... There skin gets darker with it's thickness and the afflicted areas seems darkened but you can opt to keep it invisible... The choice is yours once you have the control." Junbei stated. "I could rattle on about it's usefulness strategy wise for hours... from Logia Devil Fruit users to protecting vitals... but hands on seems to be the best." Junbei said.

Turning his body towards Geno, Junbei walked until only five meters separated them once more. Covering his entire chest in Busoshoku Haki, a thick and black metallic glare shone brightly on the man's chest cage. After this final clash, the man would have no more forms of Haki to showcase to Geno, and would offer an explanation on the third, however, he didn't let his mind wander off to far, as taking an attack in negligence, spar or no spar, leads to loss of life.

Geno could not hide his excitement at that given moment. This was fun for him, a casual spar with someone who he had only just met. A test of strength against another without stipulations. Just teaching one another how to survive better in this chaotic world. A sensation he had not felt in a long time. Junbei had felt only about ten percent of his true strength. It was said that Geno's strength rivaled that of a giant. Most people relied on their speed to get a win whereas Geno relied on wit and sheer power. Still in his fighting stance he listened to Junbei speak in response to his earlier statement. Kenbushoku Haki, a haki born of the mind that allows the user to see with more than just their eyes. Being able to feel another's movements, motions and intentions. This was when it clicked in Geno's head, this was the weakness. One can have a six sense of danger but there was unseen dangers that lurked beneath true intentions. As shown before Junbei had not paid attention to the right hand that hung low. He was focused on the left attacking but forgot about the possible attacks that could occur in a instant.

He carefully analyzed the situation as he watched Junbei very carefully. Geno was still five meters away from the lad and even though he was faster attacks were easy to pick up on for the most part. He waited politely for Junbei to stop his explanation as he rubbed his mid section. Geno bounced on his feet lightly waiting for any signs of attack as the man spoke. The next form of haki Junbei spoke about was Armament Haki, a form of haki that acts as a extra layer of skin. One that gives enhanced durability in dire times of need. Once again Geno's current fighting style used the same kind of logic. Using the bodies natural energies as a tool in combat. He did this naturally, and Haki would only enhance this ability even more. Before Junbei would move Geno would speak. “I have a very firm grasp on the subject matter. As I use the same form of fundamentals to fight. Between my full strength and knowledge of harassing internal energies I am the last of my kind. A user of the lost art called, Kami no te! Or the God hands for English sake.” He would notice Junbei speaking but he would not stop talking he would only multitask.

Junbei would show his Busshoku haki to Geno, hardening his body. Geno was prepared to test this but without killing his sparing partner. “Versus explaining let me show you what this style entails. I will reward your training with a lesson of my own! Remember this strength I showcase to you.” Junbei would be able to tell that Geno's aura would intensify exponentially. Energy would well up inside of him before transferring to his hands. Veins in his body began to become visible on his body. For a glimpse Junbei would be able to see Geno's aura manifest as the multi arm god revealed itself. A golden deity that was born of Geno's training and wrath.

A surface of understanding that Geno had begun to scratch. Both would not know it right out of the door but Geno had the power of a king laying dormant within him. That power had begun to show itself as he focused on unleashing this energy. With the combination of Haki and Geno's manifestation it became completely visible. However Geno knew to hold this strength back as it could easily shatter Junbei's body at full power. He kept it at twenty-five percent but give him a glimpse of the strength beyond normal comprehension.

Geno's hands would no longer be clenched into a fists. They would instead be open palms. This time his forward moment would be different it would be more dangerous, more intense. The sand beneath his feet would kick up behind him. The sand itself would exploded outward behind him as he moved forward. This time he led with the left and his right arm was backward. Geno was moving at his full speed in a instant which could still be perceived by those with T3 perception ability. He would clear five meters with no time wasted and be in arms reach. As junbei waited for Geno's attack a right hand would have shot forward with a hard palm facing his chest. His thumb was pressed against his hand and his fingers straightened outward.

The thing is Junbei would have not detected any rage, wrath or animosity. Geno would have been radiating excitement, understanding, and most importantly love. Love was a ever changing thing, it was harsh, welcoming, and peaceful rolled into one. It was all dependent on how one perceived Love. Geno's body would have turned with one beautiful fluid motion. “Don't blink.” he said as his hand pressed upon Junbei's chest. The arm came fast but, the palm strike had zero power behind it. His right palm would have pressed on the lads chest but Junbei would have felt no push initially.

Suddenly a surge of energy would radiate from his palm that was pressed on Junbei's chest. A explosion of raw power would cause the area to seemingly detonate. Junbei had braced himself but it would still most likely send him back a few meters. Geno held back a bit still lowering the force of the strike to roughly a T1 when it would normally be about T4 in power. He would stand up straight and place his hands together as if he were praying. He awaited Junbei's response.
