Kibo was riding on a small boat carried by a seahorse in one of the city's many canals. His hands were clenched firmly around the rope attached to the sea creature as is pulled the boat calmly across. What should be a pleasant ride didn't seem as such in the man's eyes, a small frown drawn on his face as his expression read that of concern after having learned some things....

~Flashback~

Kibo walked along a path not filled with that many people. He looked down at his open sketchbook of another work of art he has completed recently. It was of that large ship that recently docked here, The Dutchman, or something along those lines. That redheaded man who owns the ship was nice enough to let Kibo draw it...but it was a shame that the Revolutionary wanted to keep an eye on these folks for whatever reason. They didn't seem to be the troublesome bunch as he was told they were. Earlier, Kibo thought about the secrets the World Government kept from the world, part of the reason they were devils in his eyes. Did the Revolution also have their own fair share of secrets? Secrets that they kept from their own?

No....that isn't right. To try, and compare his saviors to those monsters. It was disgraceful. Stopping in front of an alley, Kibo would sigh before looking around, book still in hand, but lowered to his side. A few seconds later, he would find himself being pulled into said alley with no one noticing. He would find himself being pulled all the way into an opened door which was then closed. Upon being let go, Kibo would clench his fists with eyes lowered as he entered a battle stance, ready to attack whoever has done this!

"Oi Oi, take it easy now, Mr.Samurai." A figure in a black coat would say, appearing to have a medium masculine build, but around the same height as Kibo. The slim male would loosen his fists before raising his eyes some at the sight of the familiar figure. "What...what are you doing he-" Kibo would be interrupted by the figure placing a black gloved hand on his shoulder before shaking his head. "Poor poor Kibo. Forgetting your Den Den Mushi once again." he'd taunt, causing the black haired man to blush in embarrassment before the figure continued. "As for why I'm here as you were going to ask. Wellllll since you tend to get your mind wrapped around on that book of yours, I was instructed to tag along after they learned ya forgot your snail." the figure declared as he paced back, and forth.

"I...see." Kibo replied, glancing down at his sketchbook as the hooded male nodded. "Yup! Gotta make sure we get that well needed info on them Bluebirds. Oh! That reminds me..." the figure would hand Kibo a brown envelope containing files. "Some important info containing certain things about them, or something." the figure claimed as he stretched. Kibo looked down at he envelope labeled "Classified" in dark red. Before he could look into it, Kibo paused before coming to a realization...

"Wait. Did you say....Bluebirds...?"

~Flashback over~

Still riding on the canals, Kibo would sigh. Oh how stupid he felt once he finally realized he was going after the WRONG guys this whole time! Ever since he became apart of the Revolutionary army, Kibo felt as if he has done more harm than good, or nothing at all that could help progress the Revolution. He felt like a failure.

From the corner of his lowered eyes, Kibo would notice someone walking along the path beside the canal. Looking up he would see that woman with the bow, and arrow strapped to her back. She looked familiar, but couldn't put a finger on who she was until the seahorse pulled up more. With the boat now riding in union with her walking, Kibo would see just who it is. "Oh, you're that woman. The one with Junbei correct?" he would say politely, a bit happy to see a familiar face. Even if they were nothing, but acquaintances.

Jade smiled as he and the songbirds traveled the music filled streets on water seven. music was not the only thing that filled the streets as women dressed ceremonial garbs and dances barefoot. Each of the songbirds had dressed in a kimono for the occasion, Jade still doesn't know exactly how it came to be but he didnt fight it. Jade himself was wearing a loose light pink kimono that had sakura flowers on them with his hair flowing freely and geta clacking on his feet. memories of Jaya filled his mind as this was similar to the outfit he had wore when he defended it against the pirate crew out to destroy it, damn he wished it wasnt destroyed. Jade would laugh as Charlotte looked at him and Junbei when she said to not spend money on frivolous things, the only thing that Jade wished to do with his money was to visit all the food shops he could, hopefully Charlotte didnt find that to be so frivolous.

"Eh, woman aren't my forte Jade said answering Nico's request as he rubbed the back of his head. Luckily Caprice budded in to save Jade from the awkwardness before he called a bull and took off into water 7 by himself. Jade then turned around to say something to Junbei but failed to realize that he had began jumping from one platform from another. "Looks like its time to eat! Jade said as he ran off looking for the food booths to indulge in his hunger. While looking for food boths, he also remembered that he needed a new sword as well! this gave him more to do as a sword was very important to his very being. Sadly after the events in Skypeia his current sword would probably break on him at any second, hopefully they ran into no conflict too soon that actually would cause its destruction.

To think he would run into one of the Songbirds again so soon was interesting in Kibo's mind. The first time he met them, he was suspicious of these pirates due to the misinformation he got about them. Or....rather due to him mixing up their crew's name with the target's. To be fair, they both have birds in their names, so it wasn't all his fault! This has gotten Kibo to think more on this mission however. He hasn't seen much activity from these so called Bluebird people here. Perhaps he was given the wrong information after all?

He has no idea how wrong his theory is...

Though it wasn't Jade, or Junbei who are the only ones from this crew who he has spoken to the most, it was still nice to get to meet one of the members again, this time without the suspicion. Once the woman first acknowledged him, Kibo nodded with a small smile developing on his face, remembering the time he sketched that masterpiece of his. She'd then comment on how she didn't remember his name causing Kibo to shake his head reassuringly. "Oh, no it's quite alr-" he'd then pause, just now realizing what she just said at the end. Cutie!? Just the idea of being called that was enough to make a faint color of red form on his cheeks. Being called cute tended to remind him of how feminine he looks, or rather how feminine others think he looks....The wink certainly didn't help out at all.

"A-ah...No, no it's...it's quite alright." Kibo would stutter some, the rope being used for the seahorse nearly slipping from his grasp before quickly gripping it. When it came to women, Kibo was just a WRECK! "It is nice to meet you formally, Charlotte. I am Kibo." the Rev would say, his welcoming smile returning. A small chuckle would escape the man's mouth after hearing her comment, eyes going back to looking forward. "Well, no surprise there." he added in before suddenly feeling his boat rock some. Quickly turning around to figure out what's going on, he would see Charlotte now behind him in the boat. With a surprised, and puzzled look on his face, he would sit there silent for a few seconds after hearing her offer. "Ermm, sure. Why not." he would finally answer before facing back forward.

These Songbirds are.....really a strange bunch.

"So, Where to?" he asked before looking up at the sky.

"I wounder what everyone is up too Jade said to himself as he walked along the streets of water 7 looking for the booths for food. What Jade had released was that it was the first time in a long time that the crew has actually been seperated, not counting the time he had been kidnapped and left on jaya, and he had to figure out something besides following his captain around. As the sun blazed and his long pink kimono flowed in the wind he would continue to strut along the same path before he found a random food both. "Hell yeah! Jade said as he smiled widely and ran under the veil of the shop happily, not wanting to wait any longer to eat. 'Hello there! A young man abut Jade's age said to greet him. Jade waved to the young man and sat down in an empty chair, picking up the menu before spinning in the chair while reading it.

'What can i get ya today sir? The young man said as he approached Jade after a few minutes, a weird look on his as he sat his eyes upon him. "Yes, actually Jade said as he closed his menu and licked his lips, as he rubbed his hands together he began to speak. "i will have a think of yakisoba, three sticks of yakitori, and lastly five things of Takoyaki Jade said with a smile as he watched the boy take his order as quickly as possible. "coming right up! the boy said as he made his way to the back to fulfill Jade's order, Jade knew his waiter probably only smiled from how much they would be getting from him. hopefully Charlotte didn't find out how much he was going to be spending here, she would probably strangle him. After a few more minutes Jade was filled with nothing but pure joy as his food was sat in front of him.

After a few minutes, Jade had completely devoured his food that was enough to feed a family of ten. "That was delicious! Jade said as he patted his full stomach and spun around one time in the chair. As he laid his money on the booth counter top, Jade got up from his chair prepared to leave and was met with shocked looks. "What,never seen a boy like me eat that much? Shishi Jade said as he made his way out of the booth out into the streets once more. What was he to do now? he had already did the only thing he wanted and that was eat, he probably could find something to do if he actually tried.

He walked for about an hour, seeing nothing he really wanted to do and was about to go back to their hotel to sleep. Wait is that Charlotte and Kibo? Jade said as he noticed his beautiful navigator who wore a dark purple kimono and the purple haired man he met a day before. [coor=#ff66ff]"Charlotte, Kibo![/color] Jade would yell as he made his way over to them.

As the duo continued on through the canal, Kibo's head would perk up some as he heard a familiar voice. "Hm?" the Wano artist would turn around to see Jade coming up by them on feet. The guy gave the teen a welcoming smile, but before he could say anything, the guy hopped into their boat causing it to rock some before it stabilized. With a sheepish smile, Kibo would look over to Jade once more before looking towards Charlotte who previously did the same thing once again who either didn't seem to notice, or mind. So much for asking politely if they could get on, but oh well.

As Charlotte began to talk about the places she wished to go to, Kibo couldn't help but glance up, wondering who would randomly jump into the ship next! If more of that happens, the whole thing might sink! "Right, on it." Kibo said with a warm smile before proceeding to make the bull go a bit faster. With his eyes facing forward, Kibo would look on to make sure they didn't crash into anything, passing under some bridge like structures from time to time. The woman would speak again, catching Kibo's attention, but eyes still facing forward. He could only imagine what a group like these people have been through with the bounties on their head. No doubt the Marines have never been catching them a break, and bounty hunters of course.

A burden on Junbei's mind? Kibo would think. The man didn't seem to have a worry in the world, and dreamed big. To think he had things to worry about, but just assuming anyone had no problems hidden inside would just be ignorant. He may be all laid back on the outside, but then again that man is a captain of his own crew with people out to get them no doubt. Not all pirate captains care about their crew, only thinking them as fodder, but there were still those that treated their members like family. Junbei seemed to be like one of those captains.

"Yes....Junbei is the real inspirational type isn't he?" he'd question with a smile, still not turning back to the face the two. "There are many people out there who claim they will do big things, who are only out there for the riches, looking out for themselves, but then of course there are people who actually want to change things up to not only benefit themselves, but for others." he claimed before turning to face Charlotte, and Jade with a reassured smile. "Your captain is certainly the latter, and I believe he will be doing great things that will stir things up in the world."

As the three talked among themselves, they have no idea about what was lurking in the shadows...waiting for them.

After Jade jumped into the boat with both Jade and Kibo, he smiled as he hugged them both before sitting down. He was panting pretty hard from the run before jumping on, it was the most exercise he had since he came to water 7 but that was good with all the food he had been eating. It wasn't long before someone would start a conversation and this time it was Charlotte, his lovely crew mate. He loved her to death but it seems like lately she had been getting more emotionally involved with him, as if she liked him. Jade hoped that wasn't the case as he loved her but didn't love her like that and didn't want to break any hearts, especially since she could probably kick his butt. As he listened to her talk, he nodded his head in agreement. They had been through so much in so little time and barely had a chance to rest. Jade knew that being kidnapped and tortured by the Shandia back in Skypeia had taken a toll on them both, so the peacefulness of water 7 was very much needed. Jade just wondered how long it would actually last however the crew , mainly Junbei, was one of the most wanted pirates out and about at the moment. Rest for the songbirds was such a fickle thing, sadly. He sometimes wishes it was different but he loved the excitement that came with being a pirate and wouldn't change it for nothing.

As she went on it made Jade smile a little after being sad for a second. She was definitely right about Junbei and the burdens that plagued his mind, in fact he saw it first hand in Skypeia when he had the chance encounter with Eris or whatever her name was. However he knew that it would okay, as it was whatever came his way he conquered and made it his slave. Jade really loved that quality about Junbei, as Jade wished he had it himself but he had something darker... but he quickly came out of the malice that was trying to fill him. After Charlotte spoke he heard Kibo speak, the new person also seemed to see it as well about their captain. "I agree! And the best thing about it all is that we get to help him make that stir! He smiled again and looked up at the sun that blazed down on them, his eyes turning dreamy like. "We the songbirds, will help him bring in a new era and the world will not know what to do with us the resolve in his voice was very evident and they both knew Jade would try to play as big a part in it as he is the vice captain. After talking for a few more minutes they reached Pina's place, it was so fanatic looking! Jade couldn't wait to get inside.

Just as they got off their bull to go to the super center, Jade stopped as Kibo and Charlotte continued walking. Was it him or was he just being paranoid? He swore he could feel them being watched. Nah, it's just me Jade said as he caught up with Kibo and Charlotte that made it to the entrance of Pina's Place. Little did Jade know he was right and that something was about to happen.
