Freyr arrived on Yotsuba Island a few hours ago and her first impression was, boring. The houses while nice were pretty similar to Baterilla island so there was nothing interesting there, the execution crosses while neat didn't really seem to peak her interest all that much besides being exotic, and the fact that she had to walk all the way to the marine base already made her feel like she was going to pass out from laziness. There wasn't even anything happening. While she did talk to some locals and they seemed nice enough, they obviously thought her some sort of thug from the way she dressed and thought she was just going to cause trouble for the marines. Freyr didn't feel the needs to correct them seeing as it would just be a waste of time and energy. So after buying a couple backup cartons of cigarettes that she put in each of her shoulder pockets, she set out towards the marine base.
by the time she arrived she was tired and completely out of energy. Not because she the walk was all that strenuous or that she was hot or she was stressing out about the recruitment, but because of the fact that she had to actually walk here. The very fact she had to actually do something as soon as she was off the boat instead of just getting this over with she had to actually put in effort to walk to the base.
Seeing the line to get into the actual base was decently long she wasn't going to wait for this crap. Turning into her full gunpowder form she speeds her way nears the front, cutting in front of a guy who was completely oblivious to what she did as he was more preoccupied watching a brawl, reforming quickly. She did note that the brawl that was happening a few meters away. She didn't particularly care about it, but it might earn her brownie points if she broke it up. She debated for a few moments wither or not she should intervene or not, before deciding to end it now before it spread to the rest of the line and for the brownie points it might net her. She points her right arm lazily at the brawl, before turning it up to her elbow into gunpowder forming a cylinder with a hole in it, like a gun barrel or cannon.
"Roman Candle." She says in her boredom, not particularly loud, as a small ball of gunpowder shoots out of the cylinder, before landing into the middle of the fight, right into a poor marine's face, before it explodes the boom of it being heard from inside the assembly hall as it sounded like a cannon ball exploding. Turning her hand back normal she turns her attention back to the people in front of her, kicking the man before her to get moving.
With only two people infront of her at that point she waits her turn before giving the man at the entrance her name, rank, and where she was stationed before she came here. With that she entered the building and was instantly annoyed with the ammount of people there.
The building everyone entered was more like an indoor courtyard with a wooden floor and a stage with curtains. The roof was about fifteen meters high and the entire place looks like it could hold most if not all the marines that were coming in to be recruited, even if only just. Why the hell this is in a marine base went over Freyr's head. However she did notice that a meter below the ceiling were windows with ledges that looked like Freyr could sit decently comfortably. Not wasting anytime, she turns her legs into gunpowder before flying up and reforming sitting on the window, her back against the window fram, while she has her left leg propped up on the window sill, while her other leg swung lazily below her.
Taking out a carton from inside her right inner breast pocket she takes out a cigarette she holds it with her right hand, in between her index and middle finger, she holds her left in front of it before snapping her fingers causing a small explosion, igniting the end of it before putting it in her mouth and relaxing as she looks over the rest of the marines below her.
Her little flight didn't go unnoticed as the people she was standing by at the entrance are clearly shocked and confused as they look at her from where they stand though she didn't give them a second thought as she continued looking around. While she did noticed some decent looking marines, but she didn't find anyone that she didn't think she would lose against. She didn't mask what she was doing in anyway, most of what she thinks being practically written on her perpetually tired face as she sizes everyone up.
