Malachai

Task Arc Info:
NPCs & Other things:

There he stood, speechless. His dragons screeched above as they played and for a moment Malachai couldn't believe his reality. He looked around the throne room once more as he stood below the giant chair.

Throne room:

The young male wondered if being alone was what he actually wanted right now. Oddly enough he was only a little bit interested in scoping the royal home - he was more focused on seeing his friends again. Were they safe? Did Jafar and John need him? These thoughts only made it easier for him to leave the palace and so he did. He began walking towards the way he came in which was the same way Huuppa left. The dwarf was just as amazing as his dragons considering he never seen a dwarf in his life. You would think because he was from Tundra that there was nothing he hadn't seen. "Emerarudo! Rubi! Let's get out of here." The little flying creatures hardly knew what he was saying if they knew at all, but they recognized their names. Malachai's tone of voice indicated that he was calling them forth. The two dragons screeched and soared to their father, flying around him a bit more to finish their playful bonding time, then landing on his shoulders. "I bet you two are hungry huh?" As if they understood they purred lightly, looking around frantically for something to do. Rubi used her head to rub her owner while Emerarudo began to climb upon his head. "Let's find my lil homies some grub." Being around new people forced him to change the way he spoke a little. Obviously he had to speak more professional but he had some down time now, he could speak how he wanted. Besides, he was basically royalty.

Walking forward, the guards at the door opened the giant golden doors immediately allowing him to exit. The people who once bowed before him now all went back to their daily lives, cleaning cooking or doing whatever it was that they usually did. Many of them were shoeless. The sand glistened as the suns rays beat against it as if the tears of diamonds were dropping onto the grains. There Eazim stood. "Young Pharaoh, are you liking the palace?" Malachai smiled before nodding. Rubi snapped towards Eazim, but the large man was not phased. Malachai raised an eyebrow and watched Rubi as she seemed to grow upset because of this. "No joke, this plac-"

Then it happened again. Rubi screeched loudly at Eazim. The little dark creature seemed to be intimidated by a man much larger than her father. However, the dragon didn't react this way the first time she saw Eazim of the red sands, so Kai didn't understand why now. Eazim immediately turned towards the dragon and looked her dead in the eye. Emerarudo began to screech too, but not because he was trying to attack. He was the calmer of the two. He was telling the man to leave his sister alone. The last Ryu was shocked. He thought that these two would never act out like this but at times he often forgot that they were animals. "Rubi! Stop it now." His voice was strong and loud enough to calm the dragon. Eazim chuckled before approaching the offensive Rubi. Although she did peck at him, she soon realized that he only wanted to pet her and allowed him to do so. Emerarudo moved towards the man, crawling into his owner's arms. Before Kai knew it they both were getting petted. "What a pleasure. I am Eazim." The man spoke to the little creatures as they grew fond of him in seconds. "You have experience with animals?" "Nope, but if they're your "children", than I have no reason to fear them. They will bring no harm to me." Malachai chuckled and nodded. "I like you, Eazim of the red sands."

For a while Malachai allowed the man to build a small relationship with his children before deciding that he would leave. "I should get going. Gotta go see my friends before I do anything else, plus these two need some food. I don't know if I want them hunting in around here by themselves, they're still babies." Eazim nodded. His eyes widened and a look of glee came across his face as he looked at Malachai. "Little Pharaoh! Below the throne room there is a large area where your mother used to keep her pets... if your dragons have nowhere to rest they can rest there. I'm sure we can get food for them. You are royalty now. Anything you want or need will be provided for you. What do they like?" "Oh? Uh... they like fish, and sometimes they feed on other birds. Uh, they'll eat any type of vegetable as long as you give it to them in bulk but they love Lamb, goat, horse & oddly enough frogs." Eazim nodded. "Then it shall be provided for them. Do you trust me, your highness?" Kai nodded and shrugged. Rubi and Emerarudo liked him, there was no reason for him not to trust him with them. After that Eazim would nod as well, before reaching for them. Willingly the dragons would go and the three of them would head back into the castle.

Now it was Just Malachai. Stepping down the steps that lead to the city below, it was time for a little stroll. The Guards attempted to follow him, but instead he told them not to. "Stay. The last thing I want is for these people to think that I think I'm better than they are. Besides, I am not officially the Pharaoh yet." With that he stepped into the city and began his small journey. Hopefully nobody hated his mother, because then he'd have to deal with a different situation.

Malachai

Task Arc Info:
NPCs & Other things:

As he strolled through the large city, he gained the eyes from many civilians. Many bowing as he walked while a few in the crowd hardly acknowledged his existence. Malachai wasn't trying to get noticed, he was trying to examine the culture of Rubeck so that he didn't feel like a total stranger to his soon to be people. As he walked through the sandy area he was completely impressed by what he saw. Dial shops everywhere, the homes were rather modernized. He thought about what the Vizier said about this island being underrated. Imagine what this place could accomplish, he thought. He mustn't forget his primary mission and that was to eradicate Pirates Den. Everything he done, everything that he'd been through was all leading to destroying the Den. After that he didn't know what was next for him, but he didn't care. Pirates took someone from him that he could never get back while the government just allowed it to happen. He was disgusted really. This world made him sick. All the war, violence and crime...when would it ever end? The young man was in deep thought as he passed by the citizens of Rubeck. He was hardly even interested in exploring any more. I always think myself into a bad mood... Self reflection was good if he intended on becoming a better person and a good leader.

Kuk Kuk was somewhere around here, though he didn't exactly know where to go from here. To the left of him there was an elderly man sitting on the stoop of his home, sweating but remained looking forward at what Malachai recognized as nothing. "Excuse me, sir. Do you happen to know where I could find Kuk Kuk?" The mans eyes slowly shifted from what he was looking at to Malachai. The 7 foot noble stood over the man as he sat. "alhithalat almalakiat, la tatahadath maey! 'ant hqyr. harq fi 'aemaq al'ard, yakhdue alshabab! aghrb ean wajhi!"
(Royal scum, do not speak to me! You are despicable. Burn in the depths of the earth, young fool! Get out of my face!)

The tone in his voice, the finger pointing and spit that flew from his mouth as he yelled indicated that this man did not like Malachai being here. The language he spoke was odd. Malachai would soon have to learn it if he was to truly connect with people. The Tundrian stepped back, shocked at what was happening. "Apologies. I mean you no harm." With a calm tone he spoke, hoping that the old man would come to his senses. Instead he stood up and dragged his feet through the sand to get to Kai. He yelled and wagged his finger. "mawtan! yjb 'an yamut altaniun!" (Die! Dragons must die!) It wasn't long before he realized that this old man actually hated his existence. He turned around and figured it was best to leave the man alone, but when he turned to leave he was faced with more people. Other people surrounding him and shouting at him, saying the same thing the old man was saying. mawtan! yjb 'an yamut altaniun... He would have to ask Eazim what that meant later. As the people began to surround him they also began to shout in English. "All dragons must die! The dragons killed the gods!" All Malachai could do was stare with confusion as they shouted.

Suddenly he was facing the back of a larger man. Guards began to swarm the streets. There Eazim was, standing in front of him with his hands on his hips. Malachai was still in shock so he would only look up as the red head scanned the area. The guards circled around Malachai and pushed the shouting crowd back. Though they didn't dare touch him, he assumed that it was only a matter of time before they did. What would he have done then? The sun was bright, the skies were clear. The air was hot and fresh and just an hour earlier people praised him. Obviously he wasn't wanted by many though. "Apologies, your Majesty. I did not realize there were this many people who did not want the Pharaoh to return." Eazim appeared rather quick but the last Ryu hardly thought about that. "Why do they hate me?" Eazim watched as the guards pushed the people all the way back. Malachai folded his arms with an eyebrow raised, looking all around him. Now the people were 20 meters away from him. Many went back into their homes, others fled. The frustration was visible as he bit the flesh on his jaw. "You are royalty, your highness. There are people who believe that only the descendants of the gods should sit upon the throne. They think having a descendant of the Nehebkau hinders Rubeck from reaching maximum potential. Most people, however, believe that you have returned to destroy the land. "

"..."
"You wouldn't attempt to destroy us, would you little Pharaoh?" Eazim looked at Malachai who only returned the same look. "Nah." A simple respond was enough for Eazim to chuckle and nod. "Very well, your majesty. I shall lead you to Kuk Kuk to see your friends." Eazim, Malachai and the group of guards began to walk through the streets of The city. "You came swiftly. You're somethin' else...but weren't you supposed to be watching my dragons?" Kai smirked, teasing the huge man. "They have gotten comfortable in their new home. It's not easy watching over three children." Eazim chuckled as well. There was a long silence after. All that could be heard was Malachai's shoes as they tapped onto the hard ground. No longer were they travelling on sand, but stone.

"What was I supposed to do if they attacked me? Stand there and let them hit me? I didn't know if I would have to kill them or not and that's what made me fret." Eazim listened. He sighed, only looking forward just as the old man once did.

"They think your mother was a monster. They think your entire family are monsters. I am not the Vizier, but I do not think it is wise to use violence. We Rubeckians are bold. We will die for our cause if we have to."
