It would seem that the third night would be the most eventful as their would be a large eruption of fire, smoke, and debris in the courtyard. The explosion shook most of the base and an alarm would immediately be sounded, someone though would tell many of the rushing Marines to stay at their posts. Why was because this could leave other area open for attack and the whole base could be in trouble, so only a few would be dispatched to the area to handle what happened. And if back was needed it would be sent.

Derous and Seth, where ever he was, would be one of the set of Marines set to the problem. One, because they were the closest and two because Seth had already defeated an enemy before.

"Ugh, this is all the higher-ups fault for not checking for the holes right after the meeting. This could have been completely avoided, but oh well. I guess I get to stretch." Derous would say as he began to make his decent down the stairs that lead to the scene of the explosion. His hands were in his pockets and he seemed to have cool and collected vibe about him. And he did, but he was also very cautious at this time, as he was stepping into a danger zone. The enemy was here and their numbers weren't known yet, nor their abilities. So Derous would be glancing around to make sure he wouldn't be surprised by an attack.


"I wonder where that idiot it? He should be here to win another fight." Derous would say as he would stop walking, as he spotted some of their enemies. Two Fishman standing over the bodies of fallen marines, their weapons covered in the blood of their foes. Super duper menacing was what Derous thought the were, scary guys. They were the largest Fishman Derous had ever seen, standing about nine feet tall. They spotted Derous and would begin to slowly make their way over to him, the distance between them and Derous being around eight meters.

It would seem the others would finally make it but branch out, Seth and his group quickly going to get a vantage point. Though, they shouldn't have come down into he courtyard to do this as they were being watched, not only by the Fishman but by someone no one has caught a glimpse of yet. This enemy stood shrouded by the shadows just watching and waiting, not within the courtyard anymore but rather in a near by building that gave him a view of it all. The hallway he was in being full of the dead bodies of fallen Marines.

The Fishman would take this chance also to rush those that were trying to move to a different spot, though they would have their advance cut short. Derous using his Superior speed to position himself in front of the two. But he wouldn't just do that, he would also give them just a taste. Kicking the two in rapid succession in the chest to send them tumbling backwards.  "Chill, focus on me friends." Derous would tell them as he kept his hands in his pocket. How cocky Derous seemed irritated the two Fishman, but they didn't strike at him just yet.

The one who was watching would slowly open the window to the hallway he was in, and head outside. No, he wouldn't be dropping down into t e courtyard but rather using his power claws to stick to the wall, they being on his hands and also feet. Why he did this was to go after some prey, as Seth and the others didn't enter the building the enemy was but a different one. The predator would now begin to scale the side of the wall at his maximum speed. And even though he moved as fast as he could he moved silent and still was going unnoticed, even by Derous. This may be impart to no one knowing he was even around and also no one currently could track his movements.

The predator would pull himself above the edge now, being to the right side and a few meters away from Seth and his snipers. Some would not take this opportunity to attack, but rather mock their enemy. This man wouldn't though. Quickly he closed that gap between them, and would viscous strike out at the marines focused on aiming their rifles. It took mere seconds for the predator to dispatch of his targets, the marines with rifles, but one was able to fire his by accident.

Derous would look up to the building Seth had gone to, "Where are they shooting?"

"Simpleton! I'm no damn FISHMAN! I'm Widow! My powers to climb are just just what a small portion of my Devil fruit allows." Widow would say as he would effortlessly dodge the bullets fired at him by the Marine. Though, the Marine firing his gun pushed Widow back and he knew he couldn't get close. He had to wait till the guy ran out of bullets, "Why are you shooting such a little gun like that? Shit probably only hold like ten bullets."

More gun shots would be heard by Derous, "So another enemy has sown themselves. Got damn, I  guess that must be a strong one." Derous would say as he would keep his attention on the two Fishman. Derous would rush toward them, able to reach his top speed in mere seconds, and delver a devastating blow to the temple of one of the Fishman. The blow being strong enough to send the by tumbling to the side. The power behind the blow, and where it landed, would be enough to put that Fishman out of commission.

His ally would jump back immediately as he was lost on how to combat Derous, he knew their was a gap between their skill. He was nervous and a bit afraid, as this was actually the first time he faced someone like this. As the vibe Derous started to give was a menacing one the killing intent was too strong. "Tch!" The Fishman would smack his lips as he would pick up a weapon, that belonged to a dead marine, to use as his own. Now, with two bladed weapons he felt a bit better and like he could handle this now.

"Hey now, why are you picking up another toy? Just summit, cause me less hassle. I wanna go see who is fighting up there, so please..." Derous would have his attempt at having the guy give up cut short as the Fishman would dash forward, and begin to violently swing around the two blades. Derous though would just simply begin to avoid this things' wild swings. As Blue Space was something that made him superior to those below him.

"Who said you would even meet them again in this life? Fuckin' idiot, do must think you are tough shit." Widow would declare as he would spit on the ground in disgust, this guy really pissing him off. Then he heard it, the door tot eh roof being messed with. The Marine probably didn't hear it, as he wouldn't have begun to reload if he did. So quickly Widow would turn and dash back, waiting right at the door. And once it was broken down and the Marines would stumble forward Widow would grab them. Both by the neck, and turn his attention over to Seth who just finished reloading.


"Damn, if theses guys got out quicker I might have been in trouble. Right?" Widow would say as he held the two Marines up, the two dropping their weapons as Widow's grip increased.  

Derous would finally stop just dodging and deliver a kick to the throat of the Fishman, who had tired himself out. The Fishman would try to gash for air but his windpipe would be crushed and he would fall to the ground, and soon he would die.

"Hmm? I haven't heard anymore gun shots, did those guys all die?" Derous would say aloud as he would begin to make his way to the building that all the gun shoots were heard from. Derous though seemed not to be in any rush at all as he simply just walked instead of ran.


"So how do you want to proceed? Simply give up and let me kill you the easy way? Or put up more of a struggle... cause well. You are alone, theses guys just died." Widow would say as he would launch both of the bodies, one at a time, toward Seth.

Widow wouldn't speak after he had thrown the two corpses, but instead, he would push forward. Staying low and also one all of his limbs to increase his speed, along with his agility. The corpses didn't go as far as Widow thought they would, but that didn't really matter. The guy still hadn't fired again so Widow would just try and go for the kill. The distance between the two was easily cut short in mere seconds, and Widow was prepared to dodge any shoots fired at him by the slow Marine.  

Derous would finally make it to the stairs,"I wonder if the Nurse is dead." He would say as he would begin to walk up them. It didn't take that long just a few seconds and when he would make it he would spot that only the Nurse and the enemy. The time Derous made it up the stairs was when the enemy, Widow, would just begin to dash toward Seth, the Nurse.

'I could help him now or wait, sooo many things I could do right now. Man, but what to do. Do I care if this guy ends up dead? Would that look bad? Probably, people seem to like him due to beating that Fishman.' Derous would sigh as he knew what he had to do, even though he didn't like it. Derous wouldn't move from his spot though as he still needed to know how to come at the creature, as it obviously wasn't a Fishman. It had fur and moved more like a big cat, scary. Really scary that Derous may pee himself. Not really but Derous had never seen any thing like that before, well within this Blue he hasn't.

It would be foolish to think that someone trying to kill you would try to not make any mistakes, and Widow wouldn't. So Widow had already taken in account the two bodies that were in front of him, laying on top of each other. He didn't need to jump over them nor did he need to push through them, he could simply move to either side of the corpses. But he wouldn't do that, no that would be too easy and maybe too predictable. Rather the superior creature, a Zoan Devil fruit eater, would do something even better. He would stop and grab hold of the top body, and stand his ground.

As he watched the silly and wasteful maneuver that Seth would do, and laugh to himself. Using the corpse as a shield for the bullets, as he didn't forget his foe had a gun. Once the all of the shots would be fired.

"You must be an idiot. Really, did you think I would fall for whatever you just did?" Widow would declare as, once again, he would throw the corpse at Seth. This time though he wouldn't push forward as he wanted to taunt the idiot. And he actually wanted to have the guy waist his bullets, and make him panic. So Widow would stay by this other corpse for the time being. "Keep firing at me! COME ON! You got damn simpleton!" Widow would scream out.

Through his own yelling Widow wouldn't be able to hear someone rushing him from behind and this would allow that man, Derous, attack to land perfectly. The attacking just simply being a power sweeping kick aimed at the knee caps of Widow, that would be able to immediately get rid of the guy's balance and put him in the air.

"Give him what he wants!" Would be what Derous would say as it shouldn't take that long for Seth, Derous' dumb Nurse, to load his gun and fire enough shots to put down the enemy. Hopefully Seth would do this without having any wasted movements or try to do something dumb instead of just shooting the guy.

ooc: This is a new post for the beginning of our next task. Since this task place right after our fight with the Beastly trio.

"Congrats you two, we hadn't gotten any report on what was going on so I was sent to aid you guys. But it seems that you both finished all of the enemies, but are our guys hurt? They don't seem to be moving... though two are alright." The Lieutenant  would say as he made it up the stairs and looked around.

"Yea, we finished them all. Mainly with the help of... err.. What is your name Nurse?" Derous would ask the Nurse, actually not having known his name at all.

"His name is Seth, Dr. Derous. Heheh, you are a funny one Dr. Derous. How could you not know one of the best Marines here by name. Lieutenant Long is one of the best we g-" His praising would be cut short as a blade would be seen sliding from behind through his throat. The Marine would fall to his knees while he tried to remove the blade, but the pain was too much. He also couldn't breath because of the blood filling his throat. The blade would then be seen, by Derous and Seth if he was watching, brought from the neck of the guy.

"...What the hell..." Derous would say in complete shock, but quickly he would calm himself as he knew a new enemy has come.

The individual, who was now visible after stepping to the side of the dying Marine, would be a girl. Short no taller than 4'11, "Tch! How could you two take out that trio... you Marines are supposed to be weak. Damn, now I gotta take revenge or Cap'n will be mad at me. What a pain. I already killed who I needed to kill a while ago. " She would then quickly toss out a total of four throwing knives, each intend for one of the four Marine son the roof.

The ones headed toward the shocked Marines with the dead Zoan user's head, sadly, would hit their mark, at the center of their head. The one aimed at Derous though would be dodged, but not completely. It would leave a larger gash on the cheek on the man, and this would cause Derous to wince in pain. "Fucking bitch!" Derous would snap as he was hit in the face, his beloved face. And he it hurt like hell, the Doctor hadn't felt such a pain in such a long time.  

The knife thrown at Seth wouldn't be aimed at the guy's head, for some reason, but rather at his neck.

Right after she had thrown her knives she would decapitate the, still alive, marine on his knees. Doing this just to make sure he died and didn't try to pull something dumb, she didn't want anything surprising to happen. She also wanted to make this fight quick, as more Marines would make this more difficult. Quick and easy is what she would go for, and she planned to exploit any thing given to her.
