How many islands out there actually bothered to celebrate this holiday? Hell it seemed as if the people who lived on this island pretty much all did the same thing. Kids would dress up as some famous martial artist that they wished to be like and go from town to town collecting treats. Some of the more unsavory ones would sit in the woods along the roads and try to scare people. Picking up their candy as they dropped it and were sent running for safety in some place. It was always pretty fun to watch these things happen. You could tell who would grow up to be the great fighters and who had a long way to go. Every now and then an interesting thing would occur where, some of the older kids. Attempting to scare or extort treats from the younger ones would actually lose the fight. Either not expecting somebody to actually fight back or underestimating the strength of their victims. However it was good to notice that this created some kind of strange cycle. Younger kids would learn the route was safe, since the wannabe pirates had been sent off, start piling onto it. Then some other group of degenerates would take the spot of the last ones, only to be eventually routed. After a few hours of staring at this Vincent eventually got bored of this and started to aimlessly wander towards one of the towns. Maybe if he was lucky he could find a bar that wouldn't have any issue selling him some liquors and sending him on his way. Still it would probably be better if he focused on where he was going. Maybe then he could have prevented himself from just getting lost in the middle of the forest, somehow off the trails of the wandering islanders.
