Well look what the cat dragged in. A. A Celestial Dragon without his guards and B. Playing around in a pumpkin patch with pumpkins. For afar he might've looked insane for his status and the weight it held. Plus with no guards which he ordered to stay away for sometime until he leaves the patch. CP agents surrounded the patch at least. Whether it be in the trees or underground in guile suits. These guys were good at their job. And their job was to guard the dude fucking around with edible plants teh at moment. He heard that around this time and giant pumpkin would arise from the patch to give good boys and girls treats, while he tricks the bad girls and boys into going into his mouth....you already know what happens after they go in there.

The man didn't have his mask on, well not on his face. He had it on the side of it, he felt that since he had it on so much he would turn into an actual Tengu. Which he could but that is a discussion for another time. Right now, Yiruzen, standing in the middle of the around 100 meter in diameter pumpkin patch rubbed his chin. The Dragon was puzzled he wondered when this pumpkin would surface. He wanted to mess it up and eat its insides. Maybe it was tastier than a regular pumpkin or maybe it gave the eater mytical abilites. He wanted to see if these rumors were right. Or if the kids he was talking to before lied to him.

"WAH!"

The girl sat up startled, taking a second to regain her bearings and remember where she was. That's right. A couple of hours ago She had stumbled upon the curious pumpkin patch and thought it was a good place to take a nap. And she was right. No sooner did she lie down and shut her eyes and she was off to dreamland, only to be woken up rather startlingly with a nightmare. She couldn't even remember what it was about, but it had been a long time since she didn't have a peaceful sleep. She normally dreamed pleasant dreams or at least that's what she wanted to think. After all in her mind, thrilling dreams fall under pleasant. Perhaps she wasn't having a nightmare after all. Upon waking up though, she immediately realized the pumpkin patch was no longer as empty as when she first got there. In fact there was a rather rare visitor close by that she almost couldn't believe her eyes. The Miyamoto clan's style of dress was unmistakable though she wasn't sure yet which member of the family this was. To be honest, her eyes were still half asleep. The rest of her senses though were high on alert.

As for why the newcomers didn't realize she was there in the first place, let's just say that the girl had this uncanny knack for sleeping in the harshest and most dangerous environments while covering herself up to be uninteresting or otherwise unnoticeable to predators and all manner of creatures that would seek to do her harm. An expert of the great outdoors, it was impressive how arranging branches, vines, and leaves in a certain way made one almost invisible and safe enough to fall asleep anywhere with little worry. That was her craft and something she was quite proud of.

But enough of that. Her startled awakening and tiny yelp definitely drew their attention. She was about 30 m away from the Celestial Dragon. Before they could do or say anything, she was already standing up while putting on her signature helmet. While she might not have been wearing her Vice Admiral coat at the time as she was for the most part off duty, anyone who saw the two large white feathers on her hat and her long golden hair would immediately feel very, very nervous if they were on the wrong side of the law. White Feather Leila was as famous a Marine as they come, outside of the top dog Admirals themselves. As she stood there doing a bit of stretching with her arms, she took the opportunity to quickly survey the pumpkin patch's visitors. The Celestial Dragon was there in the middle, looking like he was waiting for something. Meanwhile around the perimeter of the 100 m patch were agents, possibly from Cipher Pol, there to guard and watch over the guy. Was something big about to go down here? She wasn't really aware. She smiled and casually waved as she walked over to the man, still conscious and mindful to her surroundings.

For the most part, Yiruzen wasn't worried too much about sudden visitors. As he expected his agents to do their damn job, which was keeping people out. Abfall wasn't the safest of places, yeah, but there were major Marine officers on the island so it wasn't too bad. Yiruzen just didn't account for someone to already be in the pumpkin patch. And none other than a Vice Admiral. Such a figure was able to keep herself to hidden, she definitely lives up to her title. At first, Yiruzen didn't notice her as he was staring quite hard at the largest pumpkin in the patch.

He was quite suspicious of the thing, it was most likely going to be the starting place for where "The Great Pumpkin" was going to come from. But Yiruzen's chain of thought was broken as he finally noticed the figure heading towards him. He didn't notice who it was right away, as Yiruzen had been slacking on learning the names and faces of Major Marine officers but with such a unique appearance it would be a lie to say you didn't know who this was. It was none other than Vice Admiral Leila, such a rare face. Yiruzen didn't think he would see such a character on this island, but he wouldn't dare ignore such a figure. That would damn near be like someone ignore Yiruzen himself.

And no one with the right mind would dare commit such the atrocity. But someone like Leila seemed to have good enough intentions so he didn't tell her to stay away. "Hmrph..." The man would let out a frustrated sound. He wondered why the bastard beast hadn't shown it's ugly mug yet? Was it not get the right time? Yiruzen would wait a bit longer, he truly craved to see a magnificent beast RISE from the patch and fight him. "What brings you to this isand Vice Admiral?" With his right hand on his chin while the left is on his hip the Dragon would ask the million dollar question.  

Well she certainly didn't want to say she was slacking off from work. She wasn't and this was a legit break that everyone back at base was aware of. She just didn't say where she was going. Officially she wasn't even part of the force conducting the war against the Revolutionaries and was just called in for a quick job since she was near the area. She completed that without a hitch so technically she was free until further orders came. She had mixed feelings when it came to war. On the one hand, it was exciting to face of against challenging opponents. On the other hand, war has the tendency to get innocents and bystanders involved when they shouldn't. It was hard to enjoy a good fight when at the back of your head you had to worry about civilians getting killed in the crossfire. She wasn't that heartless.

"I would say the war. But I'm not actually in it. Just a quick errand. Abfall happens to be in my list of places to visit some time in my life so it was as good an opportunity as any."

As she drew closer to Yiruzen, the difference in their physiques became more evident. The man was over a foot taller than she was. Most people were bigger than the petite Vice Admiral so it wasn't too surprising for her. But people who only knew her by her reputation often expected to see someone more physically imposing. But that's the trick isn't it? She would be lying if she said she didn't exploit openings caused by people judging her based on her stature. Surely a little girl was not that dangerous right? Tell that to the many pirate crews decimated in only about half a decade of active service. But despite the contrast in appearances, it's actually the little girl who was worried for the well-being of the big guy. They were in the middle of a war zone with the Revolutionaries. Surely there were far better places for a Celestial Dragon to be.

"Pretty brave of you to be here in these troublesome times. I'd feel guilty about letting someone like yourself get hurt while I'm nearby, so if you don't mind, I'd be glad to escort you around while you're on the island. At least until my next mission."

It was hard to say what was on the Celestial Dragon's mind. In general they don't have the best reputations. Though she said she would act as an escort, what she really meant was that she would keep him out of trouble. From others... and from himself.

The Dragon raised his brow. He knew of the war going on still but he assumed that the Marines had it under control and that it was just a matter of time until the rest of the Revolutionaries were exterminated. No matter though, the Dragon had his agents and for the most part, could defend himself mostly if the problem should arise. He did possess a quite frighten fruit. It was passed down from generation to generation. Yiruzen's father gave it to him and his father gave it to him and so on and so forth.

The Family had a reputation for one of their warriors being a frightening Tengu. But Yiruzen was quite curious for a moment, he had heard rumors about Leila's height Leila. Maybe it was from one of his uncles or something? He doesn't remember all too much. But Yiruzen deemed the topic unsafe for work as he had no idea how she would react to the comment. Even if he was a Dragon, getting the people that pretty much guard you angry would be an idiotic thing to do.

Guilty huh? Yiruzen wondered what the punishment for letting a Dragon die while you are escorting them. Would it be death? Let's never know the answer to that question. "Escort me, you say? hmm, sure I will let you stick around. I'm just here to slay a certain beast that was said to be here. They called it "The Great Pumpkin" " Yiruzen would say while putting up air bunnies. He had to proof of the thing being actually true. Or if he was just wasting his time here........Until some of the pumpkins began to shake. 

So this was a hunt. She was feeling half bad for butting in unintentionally and half disappointed in herself that she didn't find out first that there was something lurking all the way out here that even a Celestial Dragon would be interested in. For starters, it was rare for these World Nobles to be capable of fighting. The Dragons she knew wouldn't even bother getting their own hands dirty with such a task so this was a fresh sight for her. It made her curious just the same what kind of man he was. The Miyamoto's were an eccentric bunch for sure as far as Dragons go.

"You can never be too careful. I've heard rumors that several big shots in the Revolutionaries are here personally somewhere on this island. If that isn't a huge deal, I don't know what is."

Yiruzen was a Celestial Dragon. She didn't need to spell out the implications of someone like him being in the same general location as Revolutionary leaders. If any of them so much as got a whiff that he was around, they'd probably have an entire army on their trail.

"This 'Great Pumpkin' you are looking for... I don't suppose you could tell me a bit about it and who you heard it from?"

This was just her being a little prejudiced again. In her mind, World Nobles weren't known for their wits and she wanted to make sure no one was tricking him or trying to make a fool out of him. But before she could get an answer their chat was interrupted by a sudden change in the air. The pumpkins in the surrounding area began to shake. Her reflex response to this new development was to use her Haki to scan the surroundings. If something was coming, she would see it. But since this was Yiruzen's hunt, she would try to stay out of his way. She imagined something called the 'Great Pumpkin' would... look like a pumpkin. So if what showed up was a flesh and blood human, that would be what she would consider fair game for her to step in.

Several amounts of pumpkins began to shake. Maybe around  60+ of them began to glow.(Let's just say that they are all T1) Soon various faces began to appear on the pumpkins and they all stood up from their vines/roots. (About 1 meter from the ground) Maybe not strong by themselves but in a group, they could prove to be a problem. 5 of the horde jumped at Yiruzen. He had trained so he could defend himself against these little ones quite well. Just avoid their vines and since they didn't have a hard shell like say a coconut they could be smashed easily.

The mob that Yiruzen was mainly curious about. "Don't laugh but I heard it from some kids." Yiruzen would kick a pumpkin back in midair into a group of three others. "I thought they had vivid imaginations as well, but since they swore they saw it before, I wanted to check this "Great Pumpkin" thing out myself. It seemed like it would be some fun." He would grab a pumpkin that lunged at him and that same pumpkin began to wrap its vines around his arm. Immediately Yiruzen got an idea. He was going to use this pesky pumpkin as a bludgeoning mace.

Yiruzen was far too strong physical wise to be held down by these whimsical pumpkins. He would use his pumpkin mace to smash in the other pumpkin munchkins. I guess hats what you could call them. But if he continued these actions, it would be only a matter of time until the big guy comes out to play.

This guy was much too chill compared to the Celestial Dragons she was used to. It was honestly throwing her off a bit. Not that she didn't welcome the lack of stiffness. It was just highly unusual. But she would play along. It would make for a good story when she got back to base.

As the pumpkin things began standing up, Leila bent down to pick up a handful of pebbles, kicking one pumpkin away in the process as it tried to sneak up behind her. They were 'fragile' and weren't really much of a threat. Yiruzen looked like he was having a blast swinging that one pumpkin around like a mace. She wasn't going to rain on his fun.

"Kids huh? Well it doesn't seem like they were completely lying. We're still missing the 'great' one though. Or at least I hope we are. It would be a let down if he was actually one of these guys you already crushed."

When the Celestial Dragon was bludgeoning the pumpkins surrounding him with his makeshift weapon, the Vice Admiral quickly stepped back a few meters to give him some room. Pebbles in hand, she flicked them one by one at incoming pumpkins with deadly precision. It was almost like she had a gun. She only aimed for pumpkins that deliberately went after her though. This was Yiruzen's hunt and she felt it was only fair that she didn't steal any of his kills.

Overall the situation was as odd as they come and probably a good memory to share in parties. But in terms of difficulty and challenge, it wasn't really very impressive... yet.

"I see you've ordered your men to stay out of this. I mean, you're being attacked right now but none of them have stepped forward. I'll try to stay out of your way too. But do feel free to ask if you actually need any assistance."

Firmly smashing one of the pumpkins left his pumpkin mace in tatters of pumpkin and other pumpkins. Holding onto the thing anymore would be more of a hindrance than an advantage. When the idea that the possibility that one of these minor beings that lay scattered on the ground could be The  Great One(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8v36350aSM). "Indeed, that would be quite annoying. Those children made this pumpkin out to be such a monster. You seem quite distant though Vice Admiral. Even if I'm having fun, one person having fun cannot last too long don't you think? Come join me in the hunt why don't you?"

Yiruzen was sure his demeanor was quite a rare commodity. When he had met with other Dragons he was sure that they don't usually act like that when they are alone. Becuase the way they acted in front of him was disgraceful. Now Yiruzen won't call the act of slavery disgraceful, he will say the way they are treated can be disgraceful. Miyamoto's were a proud bunch of warriors, who the title of Dragon didn't stick too well with the generic theme od Celestials. They were fighters and never usually like to call on their agents to aid them.

"Yup, I won't call them unless I deem their presence worthy. And at the moment I have deemed them unnecessary." Yiruzen finally dropped his messy weapon. And for a moment had a breather. Until the ground started shaking. "Vice Admiral, I suggest you get over here. I think the big one is going to show up soon!"

He was willing to share too. When will the miracles cease? It was easier to think that he wasn't a Celestial Dragon but was just another VIP. This was very amusing. In response to the man's invitation, she added any pumpkins approaching him to her list of targets for her deadly pebbles. A pebble to the 'neck' to sever the pumpkin head from the vine body, and another one to destroy the pumpkin head itself for good measure. That was how she was taking care of them. It was seemingly effective.

At the Yiruzen's comment about her distance, it appeared he wasn't very familiar with how White Feather Leila conducted combat.

"I apologize if I made it seem that way. It's just part of my style to get the best view when dealing with problems. I assure you I'll be right by your side if necessary. But right now this is the most ideal distance for me to 'have fun' while also keeping your safety in mind."

As she flicked her last pebble, she bent down again to pick up some more. Suddenly the ground began to shake and she almost lost her balance. Standing back up with a fresh batch of pebbles in hand, she quickly scanned the area and determined that something big indeed was coming.

She waved her hand and shook her head to signal politely declining the man's suggestion. There were two reasons why she wasn't partial to Yiruzen's invitation to come closer. The first was again her optimal range for combat. The second was that, assuming this thing coming was really big, it was much better to keep her distance from the man so that the creature would have pick between two targets if it tried to attack them rather than catching both of them at the same time in one fell swoop if they were side by side. At that moment she was about 20 meters away from him. She wondered if all this shaking meant the beast was coming from underground.

A ranged fighter huh? I guess that it would be good to keep a distance from him since she would be able to provide support from afar. Well if she was going to still help from afar Yiruzen was content with it. After a while, the ground would shake and he would hear the bushes rustle from the surrounding environment. He would hold his hand up signaling his agents to no step it. Even if they saw something was going wrong Yiruzen was not going to let his agents take his fun away from him. A large vine abuts the size of three human arms in with and in length....it was still coming out of the ground.

Soon Orange light would appear from the ground and followed by it, was illuminating light. A large pumpkin had finally shown up.(Let's say this thing is T3, nothing too serious but nothing to play around with too much, also it only knows basic attacks.) In all this things head was about 15 meters wide, it's head's head clocked in at about 5 meters tall. And this was just the head we were talking about here. Its vines looked like it stretched 10 meters long. Standing up this thing would be huge.

Yiruzen wanted to keep this thing lowkey, with the quake and this thing sheer size he might not be able to keep it so low key for long. It would be best to put this thing down quickly and test the innards for mystic powers or something.

Yiruzen was about 7 meters away from this thing. But due to its long vines, it was able to swipe at him easily.(Imma just say this thing has T3 everything, Speed, Strength the whole shebang) But Yiruzen would stop it right in its tracks. His strength was quite superior to this thing. He hoped that Leila would be able to pepper this thing enough to Yirzen could apply a fatal blow. "Don't worry about me, let's just get rid of this thing.....AND THEN EAT IT'S INSIDES!"

He wants to eat it? LOOOOOOL. Or rather Leila found herself unable to hold back from laughing at Yiruzen's remark. To think that she would find a kindred spirit with a Celestial Dragon of all people. Making a meal out of exotic creatures was her thing. At least she thought it was. Now here was a guy thinking the exact same intentions. The only reason the idea never crossed her mind until now was because she was too busy trying to figure out how to interact with the eccentric World Noble. Eating this giant thing was something they could agree on for sure.

It was a big target and impossible to miss even for a novice shooter. Leila could probably dance around it all day. The problem was it was so darn big that it wasn't obvious what the weak point was. The smaller ones could be taken care of with head shots so she tried the same. She flicked around 5 or so pebbles at its face which pierced right through it and came out on the other side. It appeared wasn't very tough at least for her strength. But she wasn't sure if punching a few small holes in it was even doing anything to it. Meanwhile Yiruzen wasn't really having much trouble holding it in place after it tried to attack him. It would probably be quite a monster to regular people. Maybe that's why those kids thought so highly of it. The Celestial Dragon and Vice Admiral were of a whole different league though.

She changed her target to the vines that appeared to be its legs. Flicking around 3 pebbles each, she punched enough holes in them so that it would no longer be possible for it to support its great weight. She figured Yiruzen could deal with the rest, but was on standby in case something unexpected happened. While it wasn't the kind of 'monster' she was expecting, it was still an impressive looking specimen and she couldn't wait to sample it. Perhaps soup or pies? There would be enough for the boys back at the base. She wouldn't tell them it came from a giant sentient creature though. Her mystery meals have been turned down far too many times despite being crazy good if only they just tried it.

Yiruzen would be thrown off by the sudden laughter. Was his idea that farfetched? This thing must have tasted like a regular pumpkin right? With maybe some added effects? Who knows. Yiruzen would only find out once he takes a bite. After seeing holes punching into the head, Yiruzen got an idea. He was going to just bust right into the pumpkin. And Hopefully not be killed from doing so. But one would only know if one experienced doing so. So Aimed where The Vice Admiral shot, Yiruzen would bust right through and into its head. And Surprisingly it looked like a regular pumpkin from the inside. Smelled like it too. But did it taste like it though?

Right as Yiruzen was about to lick it, it began to flail. Was it attempting to shake him out? Or was this it's was of expressing pain? No matter Yiruzen would begin to punch various hole within the creature. After a while it would stop moving and would plop itself on ground with a hard thump. It seemed to have died. It didn't have any blood so Yiruzen didn't know for sure. So it would be best to cut this thing up right now while they had a chance.

Coming out from the mouth the man would be soaked with pumpkin juice. He didn't mind it too much as he loved pumpkin. It was just getting this off of him was going to be a pain. "This Pumpkin better taste better than my grandmother's, from all the work I am putting it I want to be compensated a little bit at least. Yiruzen would shake some of the juice off. "I didn't bring my cook with me.. Yiruzen would sigh "I guess i'm going to have to bring this thing to a person that has the ability to cook this thing. Vice Admiral, do you know such a person on this island?"

Leila watched curiously as the Celestial Dragon bravely elected to dive into beast itself and take it down from the inside. He must really be itching to get a taste of that pumpkin. From outside she could see holes being made from within the giant pumpkin head causing it to flail about. Whatever Yiruzen was doing in there, the creature clearly did not like it. After a few more minutes of struggle it eventually slumped on the ground lifeless. Or at least it appeared to be lifeless. Could you even consider such a thing to be alive? This was certainly one of the weirdest things she has encountered in the Grand Line so far.

She approached the head casually, handing over a small spare towel to the World Noble as he triumphantly exited the huge pumpkin. He was covered in pumpkin juice from head to toe. That towel wouldn't be enough to clean him up for sure but he could at least wipe the stuff off his hair and face. Rather than ask for a bath though, the first question uttered from his lips was where he could find a cook to prepare the darn thing. He must really love pumpkin.

"I'd like to think of myself as a competent chef. Stew, soup, or pie? Take your pick. But we'll need to transport your prize to the kitchen back at the base. I trust your men can handle that?"

"And yeah you probably need to get yourself cleaned up too asap. The base has showers but they can probably arrange something much better for your use. They are aware you are out here right?"

To be honest she wasn't sure. She didn't hear anything about him until she ran into him herself.
