As I expressed to you in the chatbox, just not too long ago. These assumptions of the way posting is working differently than it normally does are illogical and not valid assumptions. Like I stated, if there are changes to the way things are working, members will be informed and aside from the post timer and PC limit, no other changes were expressed. In addition, given the fact that the post timer is based on the previous poster's post time(Axel), Alice still has approximately 1 hour before her Post Timer is expired. Beyond this, no hit is claimed on my behalf, so comments about being consumed blah blah blah, shouldn't be taken as factual.

This whole thing was turning out quite messy... Even with all that time in the Jungle of Amazon Lily, Linnea had never encountered a snake as big and vicious as this fishman army. It slithered around killing and gobbling anything in its path, as unyielding in its voracity as ruthless in its brutality. But if there was one thing she did know, was that no matter how big the snake, the solution was always the same: Chop off the head, and the body dies. Her eyes momentarily locked onto the big fishman behemoth... That was a rather big head. Up until now it had shown some ungodly abilities such as shooting down a whole unit of marines with what appeared to be nothing but water. But no matter how strong it was, it wouldn't survive an arrow to the heart, that was how she was going to behead this snake and let its body wither into dust. Without it, most of these fishes would turn tail and run. But more importantly, she had to check on Alice... But back at the beach; the more she looked the more it felt like her lover was in trouble. Granted, they hadn't known each other that long, Lin didn't even know what to call their relationship, but then who cares about some stupid label when her life is on the line? No way she would let that girl die, not like this.

Though she had her arrow primed for the next shot, something else happened: Even without her Kenbunshoku Haki, Linnea wasn't stupid enough to not antecipate what was about to happen; not when the whole army stopped and the big guy started chatting with his buddies. She hadn't survived all this time by being careless and expecting the best. Linnea couldn't help but feel like she had overstayed her welcome in more ways than one, but she couldn't leave; not yet. The people of this island still needed her. She'd try her best to behead the snake, then get off this enclave, and at all times ensure her lover would survive.

With the next step firmly set in her mind, Linnea activated her Haki as the behemoth stopped his army and seemingly got ready for something: immediately grabbing a branch and moved back around the trunk, she leapt down from her tree into the next one - always from the angle opposite to the enemy army - hiding deep within the canopy. Thus when the massive shark bullet came flying her way, she was already in mid air, and when it exploded next to the trees she had already taken cover behind the trunk of a smaller tree - behind the one she'd been shooting from - where she would stay until she heard an explosion or impact signalling the enemy's technique hitting something (shielding her head protectively and grabbing onto something once her haki showed her the sheer size of the projectile).

After the detonation, she'd have a few bruises and cuts on her arms and and back from the shockwave, but all in all it wasn't nearly as bad as what it could have been if she had risked hanging around there after the army turned her way. She needed to lay low until she could strike, but if she could keep them investing their forces into the wilderness - hopefully scattering them - she could make the job a lot easier for the marines. If these guys had any inch of a brain between their ears, they would likely use this attack to flush her out of cover, their best shooters would no doubt take it upon themselves to do so. However, she was in her home turf: Fighting Linnea in the wilderness was akin to fighting a fishman in the water. She would move faster when deep within the canopies, and slower when approaching the outer rim, always keeping a thick tree trunk between herself and her foes. Peeking out every now and then, she would wait for the marines to make their move before making hers, relying on one or another distraction.

These little vacations had been more trouble than they're worth, and even if her bounty had been gained in Karate Island, she might easily get herself in more trouble there than this so called haven. At least in Karate Island she didn't have deal with constant fishmen attacks so in the end she might just go back there to seek refuge from these barbaric attacks. Her much wanted distraction came in the form of a hail of gunfire coming from somewhere other than the fishmen army. Bullets weren't whizzing past her so even if the fishmen themselves were doing the shooting, they weren't aiming at her. That meant a distraction, and to an opportunistic hunter, a distracion was an opportunity.

There was more to her turf than just that really tall tree; all this forest was her realm, her dominion, and it was time she taught those fishes what it was likely to fight an Amazon in the Jungle. She started moving immediately, only pausing to brace herself by grabbing onto a tree when Scylla beat her wings (which she could notice in advance thanks to her Kenbu Haki), and activating Blitz Shooter, Linnea dashed and danced through the treelines, branches and vines, shooting an arrow at every living fishman hurled into the jungle, aiming for their heart if they happened to carry firearms. If not, she'd aim anywhere that would incapacitate them. Thanks to her Kenbunshoku Haki, she could do so with a thick cover of leaves between herself and her foes.

Her speed and mobility would likely convince the enemies there truly were more than just a single foe, even if Linnea hardly factored that part. Once she finished wiping out all the fishes in the jungle, she'd take aim at those still running around in the outskirts, always relying on the thick leaves to block their line of sight while she aimed for the largest and strongest auras (likely belonging to officers)...

With the vixen down at the beach, she took the brunt of the BullSharks and from the blow she was knocked away into the shallow waters of the Briss Kingdom shore. The submersion would be enough to rob a Devil Fruit user like herself of her ability to move how she wanted and would potentially cause her to drown in due time when the tide would rise and drag her even further in the sea. The grunts moved to bind her, but the BullShark said otherwise. "Leave her in the water, with the way my punches slide off her, she must be a Devil Fruit user, so she'll drown when she's due. Everyone lets move up!" With that the Fishmen grunts roared in excitement and the whole collective began to charge forward towards the Marine Base. "Hmm, where'd you get those?" Some of the grunts now had weapons, swords, pistols, and rifles. "We got them from the marine ship, they had a shelf of weapons."

With the main force, given they were advancing towards the main road, that put such a path to their front. Though they were halted from the sniper, this didn't change the fact that the road was to their front. With the sniper's barrage coming from their northwest, should the main road be directly north when their front is mentioned, that would mean advancing through alleyways off the side of the main road would lead one potentially west or east, to the main force of fishmen's left or right. With the fishmen heading northwest or the left of the main road, naturally the Marines would choose to position themselves on such a side from the perspective of the fishmen, the sharpshooter more specifically since he had stayed back while his group advanced. His group's advance was what had initiated the movement of the Marine unit stationed on the main road and given he stayed back to take aim at the snipers in the forest, he would have the ability to see this movement. The presence of many marine's as they came out from hiding and moved to potentially flank his Captain's unit. But before such a thing would be possible, since they had taken the alleyways, they would have put themselves in proximity with one of the groups (WhaleShark and BullShark) who had chased the fleeing Marines. With the actions of one who was going to be a hero, thwarted, these fishmen successfully and brutally slaughtered those Marines and were now free of their time, but they were about to become occupied once more. The sound of boots moving throughout the alleyways, told them to lay low in preparation to spring on their foes if they were found. But given the Marines that traveled through the alleyways hadn't come across these forlorn fishmen, it could be said their attempt at being stealthy was rewarded with an incognito status which they'd use to ambush the ambushers. Seeing a particular duo work their way up the side of a building by ladder, since it's unspecified I'll assume it's a ladder on the side of a building. This duo was targeted since they were seen and heard, but in a unique manner. The BullShark would follow them up the ladder after they successfully scaled it and were off the ladder, but the WhaleShark would enter the bakery and wait for the BullSharks words. "Why not just give up hahahaha!" This would be shouted by the BullShark just as the Commander tapped the rifleman on the shoulder. With it he'd charge them and the WhaleShark from below would use his ranged Fishman Karate to attack the ceiling to cause a portion of it to collapse. Hearing the sound of his allies footsteps from below on the roof, he'd know where not to strike would fire his punch in the direction the footsteps were headed, such judgement lead his strike to hit the corner of the building near where the two marines were. The wooden rubble that fell not harming him as it crashed on the floor. He missed, but he'd attempt to make up for his inaccurate shot with another at a location that'd be where the enemies were.

For the sharpshooter who remained behind the main force of fishmen, though he had noticed the Marines move their positioning, he didn't want to stray from Skimir's plans, for he knew how merciless his Captain could be. So with one eye closed and the other looking through his scope he was blind to the two on the roof and was vulnerable to be shot, should their plan of actions not falter from the debut of the two stray fishmen in their area. No matter however, for in only moments after being fired on and killed, if he was shot at, the force of thirty one from the beach would be arriving in the sharpshooters location, then charging to back up the Main force that was many meters ahead, heading to the wilderness.

For the main force, should they still be fired on despite their Commander being introduced to the presence of an enemy in their immediate vicinity, which was unlikely, some of them would fall from the onslaught of lead. The shout from the BullShark in the buildings off to their right wouldn't have drawn their attention. It would only be like a war drum heating up the blood in their veins to make them seek out more violence. Skimir's response to such would be the oozing of more fluid from his hand and the production of another sharkbomb that would be aimed in front of the airborne diving wyvern like beast, with timing to allow for it to hit before it began its maneuver to make its dive downawards not result in a head on collision. This would prove to be difficult to dodge given the beast was nose diving towards the ground. Movement laterally would be something not necessarily employable with such a style of movement being chosen and the ability to see one's surroundings with the positioning of the head while in a nose dive would make Skimir and a few of his fishmen be out of sight. Should the strike land it would surely incapacitate the beast, since Skimir was aiming for his blow to hit her head and she was only about 15m away on the horizontal plane of things. Backing his assault would be the firing of two pistols from those who had guns in his unit at the beast. It's distraction was working if this is what it was asking for, for those who came from the beach with rifles would fire at the beast as well. Being inexperienced however their shots, five in number, would be inaccurately placed in the airspace around the beast, these shots being fired a bit after the attacks from the main force were executed. "Captain we're here to back you up!" "Gehahaha, good rush the forest, there are some snipers hiding inside." This grunt force lead by the BullShark was still a ways away due South from Captain Skimir, but they heard his orders and would move to carry them out, cautious given they were dealing with snipers.

For the one dealing with the last WhaleShark fishman in the alleyways, he'd find his small collective of Marines taking care of the job. With his sword raised in defense, though he heard and saw in his peripherals the readying of rifles, his response to such a thing failed him. Instincts lead him to shift the direction of his body to face the marines in the dead end and it made his body vulnerable to the one in the sky who ultimately ended his life with two shots in the head.

I'm calling a hit on Skimir since NPC ignored my first attack; an arrow aimed at his heart once Skimir's army stopped advancing

Linnea wrote:...But no matter how strong it was, it [Skimir] wouldn't survive an arrow to the heart, that was how she was going to behead this snake and let its body wither into dust...

Though she had her arrow primed for the next shot... ...She'd try her best to behead the snake, then get off this enclave, and at all times ensure her lover would survive.

The enclave was her current hiding place, btw, which she left immediately after.

"Wow, these things have a huge ass altitude limit! Let's do this boys!" shouted one of the marines on his flying fish mount, wanting his voice to be heard over the wind by the two marines flying on the sides of him above the clouds. The trio was so intrigued by the animals they took control of, so much that after the other flying fish were done with, they decided to take a detour and sail through the skies, but only for a minute or two. All three of them knew that there was an island that needed to be defended. They flew upward and then did a loop that ended with their flying fish facing down towards the surface of Briss Kingdom. The flying fish began to dive with the marines on them, going several meters per second. Their target was directly below them, the marine ship that was being taken over by the fishmen. At this point, none of the the trio's marine allies were on the ship anymore, or at least their souls departed from the location already, so there was no point in keeping something around that could be useful to the buff fish. With the canons that to the heads of the flying fish loaded up, and with them being about 300 meters above the ship, the marines did what was needed to make them fire, hurling the large balls of metal towards the same point on the ship, which was it's dead center of the deck, in between the two masts. They didn't all fire at the same time however. One right after another so the first canon could penetrate the top, then the subsequent shots would push the previous shots and hopefully successfully put a hole through the ship, sinking it in the process. While the canon balls did this, the marines would get out their rifles and aim at the grunts on the ship, firing at whoever they could see. With 8 bullets in a magazine and 3 of them wasting all of the bullets, 24 would either find themselves in a group of fishmen or not. After that they would reload their weapons while circling around the ship with their flying fish.

Meanwhile, Axel flew out of the alleyway and towards the beach, but far east as not to get shot at while heading that way. Once he got to the ocean he headed towards the ship to his right from 150 meters meters above.  While fly towards the side of it, he would unstrap the sniper from his back and aim through the scope while still flying at fast speeds. With his marksman capabilities, he could surely snipe his enemies while moving. He attempted at three headshots towards the three fishmen atop the masts, one on the one in the front and two on the one in the back, presumably to shoot any enemy they saw, but as Axel was still dozens of meters out, they probably couldn't notice him, and even if they could, their aim wouldn't be spot on enough to shoot the bird man down. After those shots were fired from roughly 48 meters away from the ship, he would immediately switch his flying direction from the ship to the shores. He could see the marine force of marines still fighting strong against his allies, but what he also saw was a fishman with a sniper on the main road. After flying for a few seconds in that direction, Axel was now about 35 meters directly straight away from the main road from the shore. He was staring at the sharpshooter the whole time, and was ready to fly away if the pirate somehow turned his sniper away from the roof towards the shore. He put his sniper away and and got out his two revolvers. After lowering himself to about 15 meters above ground, could get the enemy from that distance, so Axel aimed both of his revolvers and shot at his torso, two bullets each. Hopefully the grunts were too occupied with the flying fish to advance forward and become weary of Axel. If they did, the marine was probably screwed.

(Again, I am on the shore, 15 meters in the air and 35 meters away from the sharpshooter on the main stree who remained behind the main force. Sorry if my post is shitty >.>)

Seiju
((In Episode 59 of one piece the Sennenryu, Ryu-jii, was so old he could barely fly anymore. But he was able to take 20 cannon shots(possibly more off screen) before he was downed and even then he wasn't dead. Now, I don't think for a second that I can get away with that kind of durability here. But I'd like to use it as a case for why I'm going to assume that Scylla can take some pistol/rifle shots and still be more or less ok. If she needs to take more significant damage pm me and I'll add it in.))

The fishman's shout caused Seiju to turn his head, but his hand did not stop on its way to the marines shoulder. A firm tap would tell the young man that it was time for fire. His gun loosed lead down range and the sound of the shots signaled all the other marines to open fire. The barrage of bullets was not halted by the surprise appearance of the shark fishman on the roof. Seiju was unable to focus of ordering his men to fire a second volley however as the finned bastard was charging right for him. The old man's hand rushed to his sword as he remained crouched and pivoted on the balls of his feet to turn his body in the charging fishman's general direction. A portion of the roof caved in near by for reasons unknown to Seiju but he would have to worry about the cause of the structural damage later. His focus honed in on the BullShark's rush as he executed a pair of techniques together in order to turn the force of his charge against him.

A powerful kick off the rooftop would carry Seiju forward at his top speed in an instant through the use of a Flying Step. The maneuver would carry the swordsman straight into the Fishman at a suddenly accelerated rate hoping to capitalize on a factor of surprise and lowered reaction times. Simultaneously, the hand on Seiju's sword gripped firmly launching forward in an unsheathing Butt Thrust which sought to ram the end of the weapon's handle straight into the bullshark fishman's solar plexus as the distance between them closed to nothing in the blink of an eye. Following this blow, Seiju would land from his initial step and adjust the grip on his sword spinning it laterally to switch from a reverse grip to a more orthodox grasp on his weapon. From this position, he would step forward(if the fishman stumbled back from the force) or remain in place. Either ending with the old man performing a swift cutting slash aiming to open the fishman's torso from shoulder to opposite hip.

Meanwhile, Scylla's dive was pestered by a number of gnat bites from the pea shooters the fishman forces held. She felt the pain of bullets impacting her pelt, several of them drawing blood and embedding shrapnel into her epidermis. However none would find their way deep enough into her body to cause any real harm. A thick layer of feathers and muscle acting as a bulwark to protect vital organs and other parts of importance. The only real threat to her had been neutralized by the archer woman who Scylla had given a ride to not too long ago. Grateful to have had the favor repaid, Scylla landed with much more vigor and passion than she would have otherwise and executed the Wing Crash with a loud and dominant screech. The marines under Seiju's command who had witnessed the event were in awe for a moment, but one brave soul kept his wits about him and used the opportunity created by the attack to fire into the blown away fishmen. Immediately following the sound of the shot, the others opened fire as well focusing their shots of the leader of the fishmen if he still lived or his officers should the scoundrel have been murdered by the arrow.

Scylla would take to the sky again after this, climbing vertically at an angle that let her notice the army of grunts heading in their direction. Some of those shots that hit her from before had come from them, but the Sennenryu wasn't about to barrel into them over such a petty matter. Instead, she began to ascend as fast as she could, higher and higher straight up.

She was able to carry out her plan, severing the head of the snake and hopefully leaving the fishman army completely devoid of its most menacing leadership. But there was no reason to feel happy or proud with all this bloodshed: Instead, Linnea felt her blood boiling as she approached the edge of the cannopy just enough to gleam outside through a tiny crevice, lingering there just long enough to check on Alice... She was in trouble, having been knocked out at the edge of the ocean. She knew about the girl's Paramecia power, she was a hammer just like every other devil fruit user. She gritted her teeth in a rare moment of anger, but still did her best to remain calm, taking a deep breath and steadying her mind and bow, pushing aside her physical strain. A sharpshooter had to be patient, opportunistic. But she couldn't do that, not with Alice in that state. The rising tide would pull her into the water, if not a rather strong wave...

Right now, she couldn't be a cold and collected Ambush Viper, she had to be a ferocious Black Mamba who bit all her foes to death within seconds. With her Kenbunshoku Haki, she immediately locked on to the most dangerous foes, creating a 3d mental map of her immediate surroundings and isolating all the enemies with a rifle in their posession. First things first, she aimed and shot at the head of the downed Fishman boss, aiming for the hole in its helm; an arrow to the eye to confirm her kill: even if it didn't die, its serious injury should keep it from moving too much and allow her to finish the job should she have narrowly missed the fatal spot. Next the rifleman who hung back while he was busy looking through the scope of her rifle, if it hadn't been killed by that point. Scylla was a poweful ally and with the moment her main threat was put out, she was free to unleash a powerful gust of wind:

"Nice, Scylla...", she silently praised the Sennenryu with a silent smirk, grabbing on to a branch to keep her balance as the land shook with the bird's mightly wings, and instantly moved to exploit this opening in coordination with her Marine allies.

The angered Linnea spotted each mark with the accuracy of a hawk and struck each with predatorial killing intent. She would take aim at every living enemy - the ones furthest from the marines and closest to the jungle - within her Kenbunshoku range with a ranged weapon in his posession, using it to predicting their flight path so as to fire arrows at incredible speed, drawing and releasing them one by one, thus silencing these homicidal voices for good.

After taking down the foes blown away by Scylla, she would aim at whatever more riflemen she could still spot. If there were none within range, she'd instead spend the rest of her time aiming at the fishmen wielding swords who still drew breath within her sensory range. All in all, she would try to take down as many fishes as possible as they made a run for the forest, predicting their mostly predictable path and intercepting it with an arrow to the chest.

OOC:

Shot 1 arrow last turn, 10 arrows this turn; total 16 arrows used.

1 arrow to confirm the kill on Skimir; 1 arrow to the fishman sniper should he somehow survive Axel's attack.

Afterwards she'd aim a single arrow at each enemy left alive after Sylla's attack, prioritzing those close to the forest within her Kenbunshoku Haki range (40m radius), taking down the riflemen first, then moving on to the melee users. If any officers were still alive and within her range, she'd aim to intercept those mid attack.

Estimated 8~10 Fishmen defeated

For those upon the shore, they'd find themselves coming under siege from beings they first thought were their own allies. Looking up at the flying fish, the grunts cheered them on, but when the first cannonball shot rang out the cheering stomped. They were confused until the subsequent shots were fired from others in the seat of the flying fishes. Given they were 300m high in the air however, the fishmen grunts fleeing off the ship into the water's wasn't a task that needed too much urgency, and eliminating the hijackers was even easier since they got rid of themselves. But despite that, some of the fishmen had more difficult places to get off the ship from as some where still below the deck looking for supplies. Every fishman that was on and above the deck of the ship having jumped off into the waters before the cannonballs hit, they'd find when the Marine's moved to retrieve their rifles multiple factors worked against them. The way gravity worked while they nose dived, having no hands on the handles of the mounts as they moved to get their rifles, and their inexperience. Simply put staying atop the fish while doing such a thing was beyond them. Joining their cannonballs, they'd be crashing straight into the deck of the vessel they just bombarded, killing them. With the flying fish now lacking leadership, they assumed the role of leading themselves back towards the water where they'd find multiple fishmen wrestling them to install a replacement onto their seat. In the waters the grunts were safe, but what about the BullShark and the five grunts who were still on the shore. The grunts had fled for their lives upon the other grunts yelling and jumping ship, so they too were int eh water. The BullShark just scoffed in disgust. "Useless." Preparing for an ambush, he quickly grabbed the woman that was in the water, by her neck. The size of his hands allowed them to reach all the way around her neck, given he was more than 8 feet tall. That said even if she was still slippery, by establishing this hold on his neck, it wasn't as if her bone structure could rearrange itself to let her head or body slide out his hands. With the Marines crashing into the ship, the BullShark still remained alert and looked for more enemies from this ambush unit. His eyes still on the sky as that's where the flying fish came from, he quickly spotted a man with bird wings. Whipping his body around to face where this man was with his hostage in front of him, he laughed boisterously while he slowly walked closer to deeper waters. Where he stood already was to the middle of his own shins, so walking deeper was pointless when it came to drowning the unconscious woman, but he did so anyways. "Drop all your weapons and put your wings away hahaha!"

Spoiler:

Given the man had established no signal for an open fire, hadn't verbally expressed his command for his men to open fire, wasn't in eyesight of his men for them to see a gesture for an open fire, the sound of the shouting fishman and collapsing roof didn't off put the psyche of the marines or make them double think what to do or anything of the matter, it was logged that these Marines were a caliber above the norm. Regardless, the commander of the makeshift battalion would potentially find his own capabilities making him the weakest link in the cell. Having had his man-made fang of iron already drawn and ready to fight those atop the roof, his katana, the battle ready maneuvers the swordsman to his front made only worked to warrant the salivation his appetite for bloodlust began to experience in anticipation. With perceiving such actions, the fishmen was readying his blade, as to let his own weapon notice how it felt so different to not only rob a human of their life, but how their flesh was easier to cut as opposed to one of his own species. Even the integrity of the wooden roof nearby the swordsman and his sharpshooter, both found their actions operating at maximum efficiency. The shots aim was still dead on and the step the man employed, hadn't lost any steam though some support for his footing could have potentially been lost. No matter, for the weaknesses he assumed the fishman had and attempted to exploit, would only lead to his potential downfall. The precaution the fishman took with readying his weapon was beginning in synch with the swordsman's step, given his pivoting and blade drawn caused the mental command to be birthed. This action of preparation occupied minuscule fragments of time, one could equate them to a blink if they wished, but regardless all the time wasn't needed for the blade's purpose to be fulfilled. Trying to exploit reaction time and speed, this same being would find such things turning against him and possibly leading to his downfall. With the second blast from the WhaleShark being aimed in a position he heard a gun fire from, the blast would incapacitate the sharpshooter and the splintery bits would shower the swordsman atop the roof. No lethal damage, but surely they'd cause a deal of shock that'd potentially lead to the WhaleShark's third and final shot for this term to causing an affliction that'd allow the duo to rejoin the main battle after fishing out the rest of the marines with both their lives and minimal injuries.

The forces at the forest's edge would find themselves being triumphed without the strength of their Captain working to deal with superior foes.

As soon as Axel sniped the three fishmen on the masts, he heard someone shout his name from below. The marine's body turned, and he stared directly at the bullshark fishman who held an unconscious Alice by the neck. He flapped gently to sustain his location which was lowering pretty quickly. The bullshark demanded that Axel drop his weapons. It was assumed by the bird man that if he didn't listen to the pirate's commands, he would drop Alice into the ocean and drown her. Axel knew that if he listened to that command, the fishman would just kill him and then Alice anyway, so there was no winning in this situation, unless someone would be able to pick up Alice as she fell into the ocean. Luckily, the three marines that Axel saved back in the alley were coming back to the shore, and could see what was going on. With that, Axel quickly looked down his scope and aimed at the bullshark's head. Two shots were launched within quick succession of each other, both hopefully finding their way into the enemy's skull. From his quick descent, Axel was about 80 meters above ground when he went for the kill.

"Hey you guys! Get her please!" Axel would shout at the three men. They knew he was talking about the girl who was in the hands of the Bullshark who hopefully just went down. The trio would rush towards Alice as fast as they could and would hoist her body out of the water and onto the sandy shore, far enough to not worry about the tide rising and engulfing her body. The marine knew that while the marines mounting the flying fish fought bravely, they died with the ship, leaving many grunts to swim in the waters close to the location. The gunner would descend 40 more meters, put his sniper back behind his back, and get out his two revolvers. Should he see any grunts jump out of the ocean to try and attack the marines that went to go get Alice, they would be hit with bullets from above.

Naga D. Linnea
The combined efforts of both herself and Scylla quickly made short work of the fishmen approaching the forest and one by one the murderous voices all fell silent. Once the Sennenryu started soaring upwards, Linnea had already started making her way out of the jungle - sliding down vines and leaping down branches - still single mindedly concerned with her beloved as she sprinted towards her through the shortest path, as fast as she could until she got close enough to snipe every fishmen surrounding her. She had no choice but to reveal herself... For all her shyness, and paranoia, one emotion spoke louder than them all. Even if she had little to no idea of what love really was and she whole heartedly believed she hadn't known Alice long enough to be able to say she was love with the girl, in the grand scheme of things that mattered very little. Linnea didn't feel like herself anymore as she watched the events unfold up in the distance.

The Marine Battleship had been sunk, but thanks to the sacrifice of the three marines atop the flying fishes. Linnea took in the sights around her just so she could avoid being blindsided. The battle between the two fishmen bosses at her left side was still ongoing, but the old commander and his flying mount should be able to handle that. On her way she'd pass by the deceased fishmen and their boss, but then her concern suddenly swelled up as one of the shark fishmen held up Alice, aiming to use her as a hostage:

"This is bad...", she thought, loading an arrow, while running faster while there was still a chance to save her. Fortunately this meant the Fishman still had enough regard for his life and wouldn't kill her as long as he saw a chance to use her to ensure his survival...

The bird zoan wouldn't be able to rescue Alice if she happened to fall into the water, which meant she would be depending on the kindness and competence of a few marines to rescue her, with Fishmen riders above. There was still her trump card, the strongest skill she still knew which should be able to drill through whatever fishmen still stood. She would keep on running without trying to shoot anyone, trying to get as close as possible while Alice was still above the water: But the moment she heard the Bird Zoan shoot, she would do the same even while moving, quickly loading, aiming and firing five arrows in a row at each of the fishmen grunts to cover the marines' advance. At all times her perceptive eyes would dart around the envoiroment, scanning for high ground, cover spots and anything else she could use (OOC note: I hope this is enough to get a good description of her immediate surroundings by the shore)

Linnea would only stop running once she saw Alice safely hoisted above the water by the Marines (and brought to the beach), and would only stop shooting arrows once all fishmen between herself and her lover had been slain. If the former didn't happen, she'd run into the water herself and pull her out of it, bringing her into the some form of cover, to keep her safe until the end of the battle.

Should the Marines succeed in rescuing her, Linnea will instead go back a few yards into the wilderness by the road, seeking a tall tree or any other high ground, both to catch her breath and resume her covering fire mission.

OOC: Shot five arrows at each of the grunts while running. If any of the grunts survive, she'll shoot them again. She will prioritize the fishmen grunts with guns/rifles being aimed at herself or the marines, followed by the melee fishmen closest to the Marines. If the shark fishman drops Alice on his own without being killed, she'll shoot him as well with an arrow to the heart.

Total 21 arrows shot (possibly 2~3 more if any of the fishmen surive the attack)
