Commander Steele listened to the young lad comments as he scans the area. He spotted something familiar it would seems like some familiar wait it couldn't be it was a Damn ghost Commander Steele had thought the ship had lend it help in the battle. Unfortunately he was mistaken, and that wasn't the case in fact it was Commodore Zeppelin who help but Commander Steele would find that out later.

Commander Steele had watch as three individuals yell , "G...G...GHOST!" As they abandon there post Commander Steele eyes drifted over toward there location carefully scanning the area entirely for what they had name as ghost. Commander Steele was pretty much use to ghost because after all his ship was curse , and his crew see them pretty much every night. Commodore Zeppelin ghost were spotted, and Commander Steele had use this toward his advantage. Unfortunately he was erupted by another piercing yell that said , "Those idiots ruined the surprise but gettem' boys!"

Commander Steele eyes quickly spotted a approaching army head in his direction."Attacks!" Commander Steele had yelled as he run up the plain hill towards the left flank. Commander Steele had effortlessly taken out 4 pirates with a simple side step, and karate chop to the neck knocking each pirate unconscious. The use of his devil fruit ability wasn't need after all he was naturally faster, and stronger due to his Rokushiki training which was a plus for him. Commander Steele first squad had over run the left flank due to there overwhelming numbers which resulted in the left flank to surrender due witnessing his display of power.

As for the right flank the squad behind the first squad had broke off to meet the pirates attack. Naturally the marines sword clash with the pirates Commander Steele had yell ,"Tori Tori No Mi User aid the right flank now!"

This was after all a teamwork effort as night consume the battlefield it will be increasingly harder to see in general. Commander Steele had reached for his baby den den mushi calling to check on his Xo Derous. As well as tell him to be careful these guys were tricky bastards.

Notes :
Ensign Shin when using Zoan for either mode switch half or full. It costs 10 to transform,and 2 to maintain per post cheers just be mindful of that everyone else great work.

[Yes, I noticed from the rules after Zepplin pointed something out. Thanks for telling me anyways.]

Shinichi would take notice as ghosts flew at the three opponents just after he landed. His feathers seemed to have missed since he obviously made a mistake in his calculations when he let off the distraction. Thankfully there was someone else to distract them, well scare the living shit out of them judging by their reactions. Although, it seemed the three weren't the only enemies, there were a couple more waiting to attack us while we didn't suspect it. It seemed that there were about ten marines on each side.

Suddenly, as the clashing of swords broke up the commander would yell, "Tori Tori user aid the right flank now!" Shinichi would then proceed to rush at the opponents in his half-zoan transformation and would notice around 4 pirates charging at him. He knew exactly what he should use to take the four pirates down and would make his wings prepare to let out a gust one they had come in the range of 10 meters. Once they had finally come into range he would then proceed to push his wings forward, letting out a gust of wind that pushed the 4 of them back causing them to stumble and fall over. In one swift movement would rush them, swiftly taking out two of them by planting his talons in their chest.

The other two would seem to be a bit more of a challenge as they had seemed to recover quite quickly. Although, he was sure to make the first move this time and would rush at them. They would begin to rush at him too, their swords ready to swing and their daggers ready to stab. They wouldn't see what was coming though, with one swift movement Shinichi would jump off the ground and would use his wings to propel himself slightly higher before stabbing them both in that back with his talons. One didn't seem to be down quite yet and would turn around shoving the tip of their knife into his leg. It was indeed painful but Shinichi would proceed to fight and in one swift motion would stab the pirate in the throat.

Lo and behold, an ambush was waiting for them in the surrounding plains. Zeppelin had a stroke of luck that her ghost patrol not only uncovered their hiding spots but also drew them out prematurely by spooking a few of them. It was interesting to learn that the makeshift barricade up front was nothing more than bait with only three or so men hiding behind it. It was hard to reconcile that pirates who lost their cool so easily would be capable of such tactics. The brains behind this outfit was far more cunning and composed. She made a mental note at the back of her head to prioritize pinning down whoever it was as it would surely make the mission easier.

But on to the matter at hand. Not everyone was freaked out by her apparitions and some of the pirates decided to attack anyway. She watched as the commander took charge of leading the troops on the left flank, quickly dispatching several foes alone. The rest of his men forced what was left to surrender. A swift and decisive defeat. Not bad. On the right flank, the Raven-man proved to be rather ruthless in taking care of the enemy. He spared no second thoughts in stabbing them in their vitals with his talons. She would have preferred taking them all prisoner but such an ideal scenario was probably too much to ask in their current situation.

There were still a fair number of enemies left, not counting those too scared to move. Well, there was no guarantee they would stay that way for long and so it would be better to just take them all out anyway. Zeppelin summoned an additional five ghosts to do her bidding. The ghosts' eyes locking on to their respective targets, she muttered. "Negative Hollow"

The ghosts swooped down on their targets, prioritizing those who were still charging in to fight. As soon as the ghosts phased through their bodies, they slumped on their knees to the ground having all their will to fight sapped from them and leaving them lethargic. The frightened pirates were the easier prey. Some of them didn't even move an inch to run. Those who tried to run would find themselves reacting too late because of their nerves and the ghosts would get them too.

Once she had gotten them all, Zeppelin had her ghosts spread out in a perimeter around their group to scout for stragglers. She didn't want anyone getting away to report to their boss. She turned to face the troops she denied the chance to fight. Clearly some of them were still baffled at the effects her ghosts had on the pirates and weren't sure if they should approach.

"They won't pose a threat to us in that state. Round them up and tie them up. Be sure to collect their weapons and check for hidden ones."

She then turned towards the direction of the village. More than likely a similar ambush was waiting for them there. She wouldn't be surprised if the villagers were held hostage too. They would have to be extra cautious from now on. Anything even remotely suspicious should be inspected with care. Her abilities would come in handy in that regard.

East Group - Situation: ??

"Put them with the others. I will deal with them later." Someone would tell the returning group.

Derous and his men had been brought to an warehouse, and that is when Derous would wake up from his pretend sleep. Or if someone unexpected attacked the group had tried something Derous would awake and things would be different. But going under the impression that they weren't interrupted and Derous and his group was brought to the Warehouse the following would happen. The warehouse didn't seem to be small either as it housed all the villagers still alive, "Hello~" Derous would tell the eyeing villagers, a smile on his face. The villagers could tell the new people brought in were Marines from how the grunts were dressed. The villagers whispered between themselves and then one man would speak directly to Derous, as the man seemed more important due to what he wore.

"A-are, you Marines supposed to be saving us? Saving this village?"
An Old Man would say. S
"Yes, we are here to save you all and this village. And whoa re you?" Derous would quickly respond.

"I'm the Mayor of this Village...but how? How are you going to save us, you are tied up like the rest of us." The Mayor would say.

"Ah, yes we may seem to be tied up, but don't worry." Derous would jump to his feet and wiggle around a bit before completely slipping through his bindings. "As this is all to plan." Derous would say as he would begin to free his men, who seemed to not be able to get free like he did, but that was expected.

The Villagers were a bit shocked, "How did you do that? And what was that stuff just on you?" The Mayor would ask.

"No, I can't tell you that. I'm a magician and giving away my secrets is a no no." Derous would say as he would finish untying his men. The grunts would then begin to free the Villagers. The villagers didn't seem to be harmed at all, but the Mayor did have a bruise or two on his face. From the looks of who was here anyone that did try to fight were probably killed, but the Mayor was kept alive for some strange reason.

"Hmm, strange. Why aren't there any guards in here watching you lot?" Derous would say as he would ask, gazing around. Yea, he didn't make any real noise to alert anyone but it seemed this place wasn't guard at all in the inside, and that was strange.

"He said there isn't a point to guard the dead." The Mayor would say.

"What?" Derous would ask the Old Man confused.

"Before they threw us in here a guy said that. And also said when they find "it" they are going to burn the village to the ground. And that this place was going to be our grave." The Old Man would add.

"Find what? Is there something important within this village?" Derous would ask, though he knew he was asking too much. This Mayor probably knew what they wanted and probably wouldn't tell Derous, even if he was going to save them. But before the Old Man would speak something would go of in the pocket of Derous.

"Purupurupuru, Purupurupuru"

Derous would answer it his baby den Den mushi; the only thing that had been taken from him when captured being his Justice." Hello?"

West Group - Situation: Minor victory

The Marines were able to defeat the ambushing group, but who cares. As the whole point of the ambush was to dwindled any forces that came on that path. That would be what any of the captured pirates would say. Also, if one wished to know of the current condition of the villagers the pirates would tell them only a few are dead, those that tried to fight back. And also that a majority of them are located in the village head, or Mayors, building. The one that could be mistaken for a clock tower. Also, getting this information from these pirates is easy as they would ask for their life to be spared in return. One thing that they won't tell no matter what is done to them is who is their leader and where he was in the village.

Let me show you justice

The Talk

At this very moment Commander Steele was busy awaiting to have a deep discussion with subordinate. Yes of course it took sometime to get through to the Baby Den Den Mushi Ensign Derous have so while he waited he had gave the order to bind, search , questioned, all the pirates of the left flank in order to achieve knowledge as well as remove any weapons they may have.

The grunts would do as Commander Steele order after a few seconds Ensign Derous would say,"Hello." Commander Steele had grin them said ,"Ensign Derous this is Commander Steele are unit was recently ambushed but we repel there attack. What is your status currently?"
Commander Steele ponder on if a suprise attack at night would be a good idea unfortunately. He would have to wait to until he is able to question the pirates personal. While Commander Steele was on the Baby Den Den Mushi one of his fellow grunts from the left flank approach him alerting him about the current situation with the pirates. It seem like the grunts had just finished removing there weapons, and now they are binding them getting ready to question them about west village.

Commander Steele mind was racing he wasn't sure if this mission was going to be successful in fact. He was thinking of regrouping, and making a plan so success could be made without a hitch unfortunately not everything goes as planned.Commander Steele had scan the plains for his other squad it seems like they were okay for the mean time.
