"The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, or even touched

The sea was calm, but the sky was in a foul mood. The sky was clear but the winds pouring from it were far from happy. Liara stood on the deck of the ship and soaked it all in. The winds caressed her armor and sent her hair flying every which way. It felt absolutely lovely. Having not flown in so long, this was the next best thing to the red-headed beauty. As the sun blazed overhead - giving her armor a blazing hue - the woman turned towards the Marine's Bastion. Enies Lobby. She hoped the ground party was doing alright. But Naga had tasked them with causing some waves out here while they had some fun on land.

Liara looked at her crewmates that had stayed behind to man the ship. She smiled a bit.

This was going to be fun, indeed.

the ship was getting kinda boring for Mea and it was getting too crapped for her own good. it was like a cage for her, and it wasn't  good for her to stay inside all day. she needed the vitamins and the sunlight but it would seem as that she was needed on the boat, alongside liara and whoever else was staying with them. the doctor was positioned on the cannons, which was very fun for the young Kuja to be set on as she loved to stare out into the ocean and just watch it wash up and down across the ship. it was magical and Mea loved ever second of just watching the sea come up and down the ship, it was almost like a fantasy and she saw something in the ocean that no one else could, a show beyond anyone's expectations and one only she could see, with her untainted eyes and her innocent spirit.

having the cannons loaded up with one cannon ball each and having them aimed at the lobbies docks, Mea would have set up the fuses for the cannons to be ready to fire in time with each of them at a rapid pace, and have the other cannon balls to load up close by to prevent her taking way too long to load and fire each cannon respectively, just keeping the barrage of cannon balls coming at a very fast pace, like a turret gun firing at the unsuspecting targets that were trying to run away.

"Today's the day I make my name as a pirate, huh." Locke thought as she talked to her family by way of her imagination, through a picture of her family when she was 7. They were in-front of a tree that overlooked the whole of Fooshia Village.

She was so innocent then, and most likely never dreamed of joining a pirate crew. Though this was before her parents told Locke that her true mother was out there, somewhere on the huge blue sea... That day brought more than enough confusion as it was, but Locke never hated her parents, she just wanted to to know why they gave her up.

"But, I should be getting ready, not reminiscing." thought the greenette as she checked and sharpened the war-fans that she uses for combat... One of them had a tear in their cloth, so a minute or two of sewing returned it to battle conditions.

Before too long, she changes into a set of clothes that she wouldn't mind being on a wanted poster, A pair of loose blackish leggings, flexible shoes, and a large navy blue shirt that covers her arms. Locke then picks up the iron mask she somehow still had with her from Foosha Village, and sets it on her face...

As she walks out of the crew quarters below decks, she looks like a completely different person. The only thing she could be identified with was her green hair that, once again was in a long pony-tail that almost reached her legs.

"So, are we sure about the captains instructions?" asked Locke, who looks around the remaining crew. And then remembers to put up her Haki...

The auras around her were still unfamiliar as they only signified that people were here, or time should be spent with the crew to learn how they all work.
Locke already knew Linnea, Liara, and Mea, as they had a miss adventure at the mainland... The three guys were somewhat a mystery still, though Spook always gave Locke the chills when she was close to him... Melissa was also a unusual individual, even though Locke tried to be friendly, she was always receiving a cold shoulder from her. Locke's thoughts about that were "Maybe I just haven't earned her trust yet..."

Ike was still a bit sour from being told to stay with the rest of the crew on the ship. He would much rather go out with them to Enies Lobby then to stay on the ship in the sea waiting for their return. However, they were was nothing he could do about it since he was one of the stronger fighters, and his gum gum fruit powers did well to protect the ship if put in the situation were its targeted by cannons. He could imagine how much fun they could be having exploring the Island or fighting the really strong marines that are stationed on the Island. Just thinking about the thought started to make Ike’s blood boil, “those selfish bastards” he ranted to himself angrily in the bedroom quarters as he was changing into a fresh pair of clothes.

Wearing a solid red sleeveless zip up fleece lined hoodie with the crews jolly roger outlined in black on the back; along with black cargo capris that cut off at about the upper region of his shin. He also sported his trademark sandals, and a handmade knitted tube hat with a stripey pattern along with the coloring of black and beige. He had heard earlier that the weather is supposed to be nippy later, so the tube hat served as not only warmth but to keep his dreads from getting in his face while fighting. Walking confidently to the door and he looked behind him quickly to make sure he didn’t forget anything, but assumed he had everything he would need and walked out of the room while closing the door behind him.

The rubber pirate let out a yawn as he walked onto the main deck where the rest of the crew was located. The wind rushed about the ship as it touched many of the people on the ship, and the breeze whisked along Ike’s body as it hoisted his hoodie from his body momentarily revealing his chiseled torso; which served as eye candy for a short span. While Ike was walking towards the crew he launched his hands into his hoodies’ pockets as shivered for a moment from the cold breeze that caressed his body. “Yooo! Locke! Liara! Mea!”, he said with great enthusiasm as he waved to each individual nakama with his goofy grin. He then heard Locke’s question which caused him to shift his attention, “something about kicking Marines asses and taking names” he said with a chuckle as he cracked his knuckles for dramatic effect.

Liara smiled gently at Mea-chan's machinations with the cannons. The young doctor had shown a strange proficiency with them, which Liara attributed to the Kuja genes running through her veins, so since then the little doctor was the go-to for canyoneering. Liara had gotten some pointers from Naga so she could help the young doctor if the situation warranted it. She was still confident in Mea-chan's abilities though.

The sound of footsteps alerted the knight to someone else's presence. She was greeted with green hair and an iron mask. Was that...Locke? Liara raised an eyebrow at the woman she now trusted with one of her most valuable secrets. Her outfit change wasn't exactly a bad one, but the mask hid her beautiful face and immaculate skin, something that should be flaunted for the world to see! Liara smiled at her a bit as she made her way over. "Hai Locke, it's good to see...the new you", she said before chuckling a bit.

More footsteps this time. And their owner was none other than the Rubber Bandit himself. She saw his usual red attire and goofy smile and it couldn't help but make her grin a bit too. His happiness was infectious. When her crewmates were all assembled, Locke posed the question as of what their captain actually wanted them to be doing. Ike chimed in with his usual banter making Liara shake her head. "What he means, is that Naga wants us to commandeer an enemy vessel. She told me about a old Kuja hunting tactic where the huntress would use a decoy to draw the enemy's attention so the huntress could shot safely. It's brilliant, really." Liara turned to the ocean again and scanned the waves for ships. It didn't need to be anything fancy, just something that resembled their ship.

As the rest of the crew that stayed on the ship managed to pull themselves from the woodwork, Locke couldn't help but feel antsy about this... She was going to make her name here, in-front of the world government's judicial branch, or die/get caught here... ether way she was going to get known.
Liara seemed to be confused about Locke's getup, and she replies "I'm just not ready for my face to be on the wanted posters yet... Plus someone needs to stay somewhat anonymous in the crew."

Then doubt crossed her mind as she lifts her mask and looks at the three other left beside her after she heard Ike's explanation.
"Are you sure you want me here? I'm not that good of a fighter yet, and I dont want to be a burden..."

Yet Liara's explanation managed to pull some of the negativity from the air as Locke realized what they were tasked with doing "Whew, that's a smart idea!" Her usual carefree smile returned as she moved towards the port side of the ship, watching out for the perfect target.

The breeze and sun both felt nice on the greenette's skin as she watched the horizon... it was boring work but it was important.
The gulls called out and annoyed them all as they tried to land on everything, including those who watched the sea...

About 2 hours of waiting, an unintentional nap, and a bathroom break later, the sea stayed as calm as it was before, either being the grand line's "crazy weather" or pure luck that helps the ship from bobbing like a cork.

Locke was about to go get a drink, stretch her legs before noticing a small speck, maybe a ship, on the horizon.

"I think I see a ship approaching!!" Locke says with urgency in her voice, the chilly wind helped her message reach the rest of the crew as she watched the speck slowly grow... It was a ship alright!

She didn't want to fight right now, but a remembrance to Linnea's words sent more of her doubts out of her system... "I've gotta be helpful, I need to keep the crew safe from these guys."
Locke just waited for the time she needed to move.

Mea Kurosaki

Mea was listening to the conversation very carefully, while making the fuse for the cannons all be different lengths so then Mea would be able to angle each of the cannons towards any enemy ship that was coming their way, a smart move to do as it would save cannon balls and time to do then to have them be aimed at a random place and hope it hits the ship that they were trying to get. Mea loved being on the cannons as it was her only way to get into a fight and not be a hindrance in combat, so until she grew to be as strong as Linnea, Liara and the others, Mea would man the cannons and have her aim be on the ships that were going to come soon.

Mea heard Locke's say that the crew needed an anonymous crew mate unknown to the marines. this was true but Mea had her specialty so there was always a way to skip over that entirely. "Locke, you do know I changed my appearance to this only to get be that one crew mate unknown to the marines, right? I do have the hormone hormone devil fruit, so I can change mine and everyone's appearances with a simple injection of certain hormones and poof, New woman or man. hehe... it doesn't tire me out either, it is a lot of fun to test out different hormone amounts to see what can happen to the human body... so whenever you need a change of look, ask me and poof, your a new woman. don't worry about the ship coming in, I'll fire it out of the sea. Sharp cannon shooter Mea here to sniper ships out of the sea! " Mea said in a very happy tone as she took aim at the ship coming in with one of the cannons and calculated the distance of the ship and took note of the wind.

"wind speed... twenty miles per hour... coming from the east... so.. aim it more right so then the wind can... maybe... carry the cannon ball over to the ship and... BOOM! sinked ship ala mode... hehe.. I just need to wait and lead him in... then I can blow him out of the sea. " Mea said to herself as she took the cannon and aimed it a little to the east side of the ship, which put the cannon to aim just a few inches, in Mea's eye, off the Ship before readying the fuse. if Mea wanted this shot to work, she would need to wait for the Enemy ship to be baited in a little before blowing them up to skypia and away into the heavens.

Liara had to admit to the cleverness of Locke's answer. How can you track someone if you don't even know what they look like? Liara was sure that there were ways, but she imagined them being tedious and time consuming. Something the marines were renowned for steering away from. At the greenette's hesitance in her participation, Liara's brow wrinkled a bit. She knew that the biggest hinderance to oneself was admitting defeat before the battle even started. The redhead reached out a bit and placed her armored hand on her crewmates shoulder lightly. "You most certainly are not a burden and we absolutely need you here. You and I are going to be the boarding party while Mea and Ike will guard the ship. Your fighting style most suits mine. Don't worry. Just stick close to me and you'll be fine."

While Mea spoke to Locke, Liara turned a bit and scanned the windy horizon once more. Being so close to Enies Lobby, there were bound to be ships of all different shapes or sizes heading back and forth from the port. All they had to do was find a light caraval... When Mea mentioned that she was going to sink the ship, Liara looked back at her. "Hold on, Mea-chan. Instead of sinking the ships, we need you to cripple them. Aim for the masts. Try and shoot holes in the sails so the enemy ship can't move. Once you do that, I want you to defend the ship with Ike. Try and stay below deck so no one tries boarding through the portholes or cannon blocks."

For the next couple of minutes, Liara intently watched the sea. As they skimmed through the waters at a liesurly pace, Liara ticked off the ships around them. Most were either too large or looked too well-manned for them to be targeting. Locke or Mea would suggest a ship every now and then but Liara decided against it. They would know the right ship when they saw it.

And Locke found it.

Liara's attention snapped to where the greenette was looking. She watched as a sleek vessel sliced through the waves at a comfortable speed. It looked lightly manned and slightly battered. By the rough patches of salvage and shearing, Liara could tell that it had been caught in a sea storm. The poor men on that ship had to be tired, waterlogged, and weak. The perfect prey.

Liara strutted over to the wheel of the ship and grasped it tightly at ten and two - just as Nicky had shown her. The redhead's eyes hardened as she lowered her gaze and threw the wheel swinging to the left, banking them into a wide turn. Her redhead went flying as they ship's bow sliced through the waves like nothing. The Knight smiled.

"Battle stations!"

Locke's downhearted comment seamed to make Liara reply in a somewhat stern, yet motherly way, causing Locke to smile and her courage to well up.

Locke listened to the plans intently, taking mental notes at some points... Being a part of the boarding party was a huge leap in what she expected to be doing, in fact, Locke thought she was gonna be guarding the ship since she was a newer member of the crew. It was soon after that Liara revealed her reason for bringing Locke to the front lines, but wait... She knew about her fighting style?
"How did she know about how I fight?... Maybe it was through Linnea telling her about it... Yeah that's it." these thoughts ran through her mind, causing some concern that the red headed pirate was stalking her, but they were on good terms... Right?

Mae had explained her Devil Fruit abilities to Locke, who was still very confused at the whole boat load of information that was dumped on her... But she got the gist of it "So I'm okay without this mask? I'd still feel more comfortable with it on...
The Doctor had also heard the announcement of the approaching ship. She seamed extremely giddy, and almost like a whole nother person as she manned the cannons and aimed... That giddiness soon was quenched as Liara told her not to sink the ships, only disable the one they truly aimed for."Thank goodness, we aren't sinking the ship right off the bat..."

The two words that sounded out after Locke had announced the perfect target somehow stirred something in her... A unknown twinge that made Locke shake with anticipation. Unkowest to everyone else, she activated her C rank Kenbunshoku Haki, and could feel the tension in all her crew mates. The blue, butterfly shaped iron mask that she was resting on her head slides into place with little guidance, and she draws her fans with a fluid motion... "Watch me now Mom and Dad... And pray for my safety." she thinks, now ready for combat or to help Mae with loading the cannons... whichever came first... Though she waited she couldn't help but feel unease, she walked back and forth, waiting for the ship to approach... a simple 3 words came out of her mouth "Let's do this..."

Mea would sigh before aiming down the cannon to have them directly aimed towards the mast of the ship to greatly reduce their speed, while having a few aimed at the ships cannons and tower piece, the front of the ship, to make it less mobile which would make the wind push them back and unable to fire back at them, greatly increasing the success rate of the mission with no deaths, or barely any, and low to minimal injuries, if they were lucky enough to have that happen to them which was possible. "i understand, Liara. i got the cannons set on the mast, their cannons and the front of the ship. Cripple their movement and fire power to ensure a easier time with this operation. firing cannons on my mark... three, two... one... firing!" Mea said in a very happy and upbeat tone as she would fire off the cannon at targets that she would have just aimed them at, even with the thought of just blasting the ship up from the sea was still lingering in Mea's head, she would have to keep the idea of just keeping Liara's comments in her head to avoid having any mistakes come up in her planning to keep the ship from sinking and protecting the rest of the crew from dying, considering they were in the water and as she had a devil fruit, she wouldn't survive the drop into the water if she got into it.

flying through the air quickly, the cannon balls seemed to be going at their targets quite nicely, making Mea even more grateful for the advice Liara gave her before she fired off the cannons at the wrong time which would have made the mission a complete flop, which was not what Mea wanted to have been put in as the missions success rating, which would be failure if Liara didn't stop her from firing preemptively. " damage report will be visible in a few seconds... Liara, i hope i did you proud. thank you for directing me in the right direction, as if you didn't, i bet the other ship would have sank and then we couldn't plunder it. that would have been stupid of me so thank you so much." Mea said in a very happy tone, waiting for the damage to be seen from her spot on firing at the mast, cannons and front of the ship.

"The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, or even touched

The crew was ready. Pulling forth the instruction and lessons that Nicky had taught her, Liara pulled the guidelines down with all her might and let the ship tighten to half-sail. Just as Mea-chan let the cannon balls fly, the Melusine would take a sharp turn to the left - banking towards their target.

With their speed reduced at the moment, it made them a easier target. However with the sails a bit restricted, their maneuverability expounded ten-fold. The port bow swiveled into the enemy ship's line of sight and while the ship was still turning, Liara let the sails out to full sail again as the ropes skidded harmlessly along the hard metal of her armor. It was this unique way of sailing that gave them the needed umph they'd need to overwhelm their opponents. Liara could feel the sea reverberating through the hull of the ship and the greaves of her armor as they cut through the waves towards the enemy ship. The Knight watched with clear satisfaction as Mea's shots found their marks with barely any misses. The enemy ship's wake in the waves quickly trickled down into nothing.

They were marooned.

The Melusine wasn't far away from them now and Liara could hear the startled cries for battle stations. Liara kept swinging the ship around in a spiral pattern around the marines. They were going too fast for the unprepared marines to get a clear shot, and even if they did manage to spare a shot off, Ike would be able to deflect it with his devil fruit powers. The marines were dead in the water and before long, all they could do was wait as the Melusine drew closer.

As they circled ever closer, Liara counted the sailors. From what she could see, she numbered them at eight so far. The vessel was most certainly not a fully manned Navy vessel. After all, this close to Enies Lobby, it had to be a scout ship, trade vessel, or a bunch of recruits. Liara did not care.

Their target was the ship. Not the marines on it.

Liara swung the ship around and called for Ike to lower the anchor. He seemed to know his place because she felt the ship jerk to a halt not even a few moments later. The Melusine sat in all it's glory next to the Navy vessel. Thankfully, the Melusine sat higher in the water than the Marines' did. This gave them an advantage. Liara quickly relinquished the wheel and sprinted towards Locke's position. The Knight could hear the Marines yelling at each other to get ready. They were probably waiting for the pirates to make a move. In a way, she felt bad for them. They couldn't have foreseen getting attacked so close to a hub of their power. It worked out well for the Uroburos though. They would be sloppy. But Liara realized something detrimental. With them being this close to Enies Lobby, they'd be able to call for reinforcements quickly...

Liara looped a hand around Locke's waist and gripped her tight. "Change of plans. I'm going to get you into the bridge area. You need to take out any Den Den Mushi you find." Once Locke confirmed that she understood, Liara drew one of her bright red whips and took a deep breath. She looked at Locke.

"Run."

The Knight and the Blade-Dancer sprinted from one end of the ship to the other and jumped. Liara held fast onto the greenette as they sailed through the air. Time flew by so quickly. They were already halfway between the two ships - over the ocean - when they began to lose momentum. Liara snapped her arm upwards and watched as her whip found one of the hard wooden lengths of the lower mast and wrapped snuggly around it. Their fall quickly turned into a glide as they rode through the air, towards the bridge. Amidst the ride, Liara leaned to the left and tucked her body around Locke. A few seconds later, her armored form smashed through the windows of what seemed to be the navigator's office. Liara quickly rolled onto her feet and entered a combat stance. The room was deserted. Not for long though.

Liara took the extra chance to look around the room. She preferred some kind of map of the ship's interior but her eyes honed in on a open journal sitting on a desk. The woman made her way over and brushed the broken glass off the page. "...just a regular training exercise. Twelve grunts and two overseeing officers. Unfortunately our captain for this trip is that dumbass Mitch. He only cares about twirling those damn whiskers of his more than actually teaching somebody something. Oh well... This shouldn't take long. Hopefully I'll be home in time for the Coo at least."

Liara smiled. Mea-chan couldn't have picked a better target.

The Knight moved to the door and she was pleased to find Locke ready and behind her with her ornate fans already drawn. The greenette was attentive during combat and she was handling herself well so far. Liara nodded to her partner and put her armored hand on the door. The two pirates could hear the sounds of running. Someone yelled something about securing the sea maps and the Knight smiled. Liara put up her other hand and held up three fingers. Three...
The running was closer now.
Two...
Almost there, she could hear frantic breathing.
One...!
Liara slammed the door open and she watched as the fram smashed into the face of a grunt and sent him tumbling into a pile onto the floor. Liara was sure he was out like a light. "Fourteen more to go. Be careful." Locke nodded and slipped from behind Liara and disappeared behind a corner. Liara wanted to stay with her, to make sure she would be safe, but she needed to trust Locke. This was the chance for the greenette to show her skills and prove her worth. Liara shut the door silently and headed into the opposite direction. All Locke had to do was shut down the Den Den Mushi, but Liara's task was even more simple.

All she needed to do was fight.
~~~
Liara rounded the corner and came upon two unarmed Marines. Their eyes met at the exact same moment. Liara moved first though. Her wrist shot forward and her red whip followed. The weapon flew forth and wrapped around one marines chest. She yanked him forward with all her might and as he flew towards her, she dipped low and caught his stomach with her armored fist. The other Marine was moving now. He tried running at Liara while she was busy with the first one but he didn't know that she could multi-task. Since Liara was crouched, he run up at her and attempted to kick her in the vicinity of her neck or face. Liara pushed herself off of the wall on her left and rolled over the man she'd just dropped. She yanked on the man that was still entrapped in her whip's grasp. As she fell against the other wall, she brought her feet up to her chest. She watched as her boots hit the trapped man's back and she kicked forward with all her strength. The man sprang forward and unwound from her whip as he slammed into the other Marine who was on the other side. They both made sickeningly loud thud sounds as they impacted against the wall and slide down on top of one another. They were out cold.
Twelve more.
Liara made her way down this hall and was about to round the corner but managed to catch someone as they were just about to do the same thing. She jabbed him in the neck and slammed his head up against the wall. He slumped down into a pile. Eleven.
Liara rounded the corner and was met with the sight of a man running crazily at her with a sword in his hands. The blade was high in the air and it took nothing for Liara to flick her wrist forward, wrap the hilt of the sword in her whip and yank forward. The man's forward momentum expounded and he went sailing through the air. Liara didn't even look back as she heard him smash face first into the wall behind her.
Ten.
Liara moved carefully now. These may be rookies but they wouldn't be stupid enough to travel alone anymore. The Knight was a bit worried though. As she made her way through the halls, she didn't encounter anyone else. That was, until she found three men lying in the oddest positions on some stairs. That would have been Locke. The count went down to seven. The Knight came to the end of a hallway and found a door. She expected it to lead outside, and it did. But the deck was a story below her. She didn't know what they needed a balcony on a training vessel for but she didn't question it. After all, this could be where evaluators stand so they could look over the recruits work for all she knew. All she knew is that when she peeked over the edge, she noticed someone standing at the bottom with a rifle in hand.
She didn't even think about it.
Liara unwound both her whips and flung herself over the edge of the balcony. She plummeted downwards at an alarming rate because of the weight of her armor. The sound of her landing on top of the man below her and his head smacking onto the deck of the ship was also a bit alarming but Liara ignored that as well. Nine.
Liara looked to her left and then towards her right. She spied three more men laid in piles of glass. A quick look up revealed
