Lord Infamous

Ondori and his crew were here in the East Blue to meet up with Leparo before heading out to the Grandline. What happened once they made it was anyone's guess, but Ondori wasn't scared of the unknown for he knew he was a capable person and was more than ready for the trials he and his company would face. "Alright you guys can dock here until we get word from Leparo as to where we meeting up. I'm taking Cairo for a walk." In truth Ondori had forgot where he was supposed to be meeting the well established pirate captain, but hopefully a calm walk through Logue town would refresh his memory or so he hoped. His loyal companion Cairo followed behind him eagerly without the need of a leash or Ondori's constant attention. The hound was already well trained and capable, but that was according to Four Blues standards. Ondori wondered if Cairo would be safe on the Grandline, things were a lot different there and though he was confident in his own skills, he knew he wouldn't have the power to protect others as he was. This wasn't a matter of Ondori getting stronger though, sure he wanted to grow, but he wants others to grow and be able to stand on their own too, so he'd surely be training Cairo.

He came to this conclusion after reaching a bit of a ways into the town and he'd stop causing Cairo to look up at him.

"We're gonna get you ready for the Grandline. Some of those clowns on the boat can't handle themselves, so I'm going to be needing some help. . . . I know you don't know what I'm saying, but yeah . . . Lets find something for you to do." Cairo made an odd groaning noise, but Ondori just started walking again and Cairo followed.

In due time the duo came across a woman who was running around rather frantically, tears streaming down her face obviously in a state of unrest and possibly fear too. People just stared at her as if she was crazy as she was running down the road. She seemed to be the only animated object in the moment and in her frenzied running she ran right into Ondori. He was grounded and very aware of her presence so while he didn't really budge, she rebounded off his fram and fell on her rear. "Can I help you?" The way he spoke communicated that he wasn't really asking a question, he was more so questioning the woman's recklessness. "Someone stole my purse and I had my fiancés birthday present in there." She sobbed and Ondori just shook his head looking down on her, before finally offering a hand to help her up off the ground. When she grabbed onto his hand she had something else in her hand though, a rag or something. "What's this?" He questioned causing her to look down at the object as if she didn't know she had it with her.

"Oh I forgot I had this, it's something the robber dropped, I just grabbed it without thinking." Ondori opened his hand gesturing for the item and when she gave it to him, he point the rag near Cairo's nose and the dog eagerly sniffed the rag. In due time the hound let out a crisp and loud bark and started stepping eagerly in place. "Looks like you're in luck, stay here and I should be able to come back with your purse." She nodded and Cairo began to lead the way with Ondori's nod.

Cairo seemed to begin with an enthusiastic start. Ondori was washed over with a feeling of nostalgia watching the hound sniff the ground and then dash off ahead of him leading him to the origin of the scent. It was much like when Ondori was back in Baltigo and the two were bounty hunting partners and the young hound would lead Ondori to his mark to deal with. This time however, Cairo would be doing all the work. Tracking the target and subduing him, see it as part of Ondori's training regime for the canine.

What was an fast start though, quickly turned into Ondori wondering if the mutt's nose was broken. It seemed like they were walking in circles for a while now, but it was understandable. It had been a while since Cairo had to actually track something down so he was probably a bit rusty, but after about ten minutes of sniffing, the duo came upon a lone man in an alley with a purse in his hands rummaging about it.

The target located it was now time for the duo to really perform. Cairo was on stand-by, his eyes trained on the target, but Ondori found it funny how the hound was waiting. The way things typically worked between the pair was Ondori would initiate combat with the target, then Cairo would act as a line of defense should the target start to run away, but this time they'd be switching roles. Ondori would act as the line of defense and Cairo would be fighting on his own. The hound was well trained and had fought other animals in wilderness before, so he wasn't a green horn or anything, but he hadn't fought many human's so Ondori was a bit curious to see how this would work out. To get Cairo's attention, time to explain, and to not be noticed by the thief Ondori walked back around the corner out the alleyway along the wall that would lead one into the alleyway should they turn upon reaching its end. Crouching down level with Cairo the dog approached him, obviously confused as to what was happening. Ondori knew the dog didn't understand English sentences, but he did know a few commands and attack was amongst them. This would be the start of his training on initiating combat so Ondori wanted to be sure to start right. Placing his hand on the back of the hound he pointed outwards towards the alleyway where the thief was.

Cairo understood the point meant to go, so Ondori hoped the dog would connect the dots and understand Ondori was trying to get him to attack the man since Cairo already recognized that he was the target. Cairo turned and looked int he direction Ondori was pointing, then looked back at Ondori, his head cocked to the side in a human like manner. Ondori shook his head in a disappointed manner and figured he'd just have to toss the dog off the deep end. Taking the lead Ondori stood up then walked forward to the opening or mouth of the alleyway. This grabbed the thief's attention and he quickly moved the purse behind his back, a few things falling out on to the ground. "Can I help you?" The thief said as Cairo too stepped into the opening of the alleyway, both of them facing and staring at the robber. "Get him Cairo! Attack!" Ondori's finger pointed out at the man as he yelled his command and the hound took off. "Ahhh shit! What the hell are you doing!?" The robber dropped the purse and began to run deeper into the alley way, Cairo chasing him eagerly while barking. Ondori ran behind the dog and scooped up the purse as he was following. "Leave me alone, get away!" "Get him Cairo!" Ondori shouted and the dog that had closed int he distance had leaped into the air and into the back of the fleeing thief, his teeth biting into the collarbone area of his neck.

Letting out a cry of pain the robber tried to wrestle around a bit, but found that the pain and the weight of Cairo was too much to deal with he was stuck and very uncomfortable. At least that's what it seemed like. Maybe it was a fight or flight response, but regardless out of nowhere the man seemed to find the strength to do what was similar to a push up with Cairo on his back and from there he slowly gathered to himself, but he remained hunched over to keep the weight of Cairo on his back as opposed to standing upright and the area Cairo was baring down on having to carry all of the hound's weight which wouldn't end nicely. Cairo wasn't a pushover though and apparently he too was holding back, with a deep growl he increased the pressure of his jaws and clamped down even tighter forcing the man to fall back down to his knees then onto his face yelling out in pain. "Fuck! Take the purse, just get this damn dog off me, it hurts!" Cairo growled deeply as he kept the man pinned down, his fangs locked in the man's flesh digging to the bone. "Pleeeeassse!" Ondori approached and grabbed the man by the collar of the shirt with his free hand. "Ok release Cairo." It took a while and Ondori had to say the command once more, before Cairo actually released his grip on the man's collarbone, it probably nearly broke from Cairo's jaw strength. "Good boy." With that Ondori turned the robber in to some local marines and returned the purse to the woman.

Cairo having not only successfully tracked down the robber, but also having successfully captured him, Ondori was quite proud of the hound. Maybe he wasn't as out of shape and behind the ball as he thought he was. With a bit more regular exercise and maybe letting the canine go out and hunt on his own, perhaps he'd be ready for the Grandline and be on Ondori's own level . . . well maybe not that strong, but he'd surely be able to fend for himself and possible even help others should he need to. "You did a good job today Cairo, lets call it a day though and head back to the ship. I think I finally remembered where I'm supposed to be meeting Leparo at. Lets just hope he hasn't already set sail. It'd be a pain in the ass trying to find a Log Pose of our own." Let alone find more reliable people to go into the Grandline with. Ondori's band of bounty hunters were tough, but they weren't Grandline tough, he was their main fighter, so should they encounter another group of pirates, which they inevitably would, it'd basically be him versus them, but now he at least could have Cairo at his side.

As the duo traveled back to the ARAKHNE, they walked along the pier leading to the docks, but Cairo stopped and looked out towards the ocean. Ondori kept walking for awhile assuming the dog had to scratch his ear or something.

After a while of not hearing the dog's rushed footsteps to catch up, Ondori turned around to see what was taking so long. His eyes were trained on something out in the water. Turning his own attention to the vast ocean the dog was looking out to, Ondori could barely make it out, but there was surely something in the water. "What is that?" He spoke to himself as he dug in his garments and removed his Eye Scope. Putting it to his eye he zoomed in on the object and saw it was a person who seemed to be struggling not to drown. "Shit it's a person, Cairo wai-. Actually." Ondori was going to tell the dog to wait while he rescued them, but he figured this could be apart of their training. Again he pointed his finger outwards and the dog got the signal. Stepping back a bit, Cairo leaped over the railing of the boardwalk into the ocean and began to swim towards the person in the water. Ondori observed from the boardwalk with his Eye Scope.

Closing in on the person Cairo bit down on their shirt and began to swim with them in his clutches. As Ondori was watching one of his associates approached him on the boardwalk, apparently enjoying the day off as well. "What's up boss." Ondori turned and looked at the man. "Hey, go tell everyone to get ready to depart . . . oh and also tell someone to prepare a treat or something for Cairo."

The guy looked at Ondori then out to the water where he was looking previously and he eyed the dog. "You training him to be a lifeguard o something?" Ondori nodded slowly, fixating his focus back on the paddling hound. "Something like that. I just figured if he's apart of the group, then he might as well get some training and learn how to fight and stuff just as we can." The guy nodded his head slowly, then began to walk back towards the ship. "Sounds like a good plan, I'm glad to see the mutt getting some exercise, he usually doesn't do much." It was true, ever since Ondori formed this association Cairo hadn't been doing much, he kind of felt bad, so he'd make it one of his main focuses to keep up Cairo's training. "Alright, bring him to the boat Cairo!" Ondori shouted and pointed down towards where the boat was docked and Cairo turned and began to swim in that direction, the person still in his clutches. Whether the guy was dead or not didn't really matter, Ondori was just curious to see if Cairo could manage to save someone should he need to and it looked like he could. Ondori himself walking tot eh ship, he put his Eye Scope away and met up with Cairo, helping the dog pull the body of the person onto the dock only to find out he was already dead. "Yikes." Kicking the body into the water Ondori and Cairo boarded the ship and made preparations to set sail while the dog enjoyed his special meal for all his hard work today.
