The night before caused the female to encounter a huge storm. Lightning had torn up her boat. She at least made it alive, but she was washed up on shore. Drift wood washed up on the nice beaches. Her skirt was torn to pieces as so was her shirt. At least her katanas and armor was fine. Though she lost both of her boots which would probably be a problem. She heard seagull cawing. Weakly, she opened her eyes to a nice blue sky with seagull circling in teh sky. "What the heck happened? My stuff! Swords! Armor! Good...but I lost all my beli. Shit...stupid storm. At least, I still have my swords" she said. This wasn't the island she was hoping to land on but she hoped it was he East Blue.

Looking around she saw nice white beaches with pieces of broken wood from her boat. Barefoot, she walked around lost. Where was she? A sigh came from her. She looked to see a town ahead and not too far from here. Good. Maybe there would be some job she could find to help her make some spare money as she had apparently lost it! She walked into town barefoot and sorta ragged skirt from lost at sea. Hopefully...maybe there would be some spart change in her side pocket purse? She forgot to check there. Opening it there was enough beli to buy her food. Thank gods! Finding a cafe nearby, she opened the door with some of the spare change she found.

People gave her looks, but didn't say much. Her birthmark was also another reason why. Having half of your face literally black that went down her neck and cover your full right arm would. It looked disgusting. Placing the last change she had on the counter, she shoved it to the cashier. "One water and three sandwiches with side salad" she ordered. The woman took the change without a word and nodded. Lee stood back waiting for her order. "Wish that storm did come in the first place other wise I would have shoes and money!" she grumbled.

The least thing she expected was someone to just pay for her. No one was ever nice to her like that. All had gotten were stares and never a nice gesture. The woman looked down to see the cashier giving her change back. Leeann put it in her pouch. The man was a hooded figure with a smirk and a scar. It gave her a warning to be cautious. He asked for her name. LeeAnn paused as she thought about the Nakamura family. It was just as much of a sin to be a Nakamura as it was to bare her birthmark. She gulped. Hoping to not be killed, for once in her life she felt a little fear.

Shaking off the feeling, she stood up looking directly at the man or where she thought his eyes were. Saying her name in public was sorta a risk,b but she was gonna let this slid for once. "LeeAnn Nakamura, a fellow swordsman and beast trainer. As well as a devil fruit...user I guess? Now tell me...who are you? And thank you for paying for me, I lost everything in a shipwreck last night" she replied. Their order was up as she stepped forward to grab her order. She sat somewhere with the hooded figure. Taking a huge bite of her sandwich, she gulped it down with a huge appitite she had. "Question...why did you pay for my food? No one really has ever done a nice gesture for me like that ever. It's...not normal" she asked. Her coldness wasn't showing this time around actually quite shocked that someone actually was nice to her.

Her story? That's why he came to see her? Odd. But she wasn't complaining at all. She took another bite of her food. The devil fruit she had recently ate out of pure hunger was a Neko Nemo no mi from her knowledge. The taste was fowl to her taste as she could remember. "Neko Neko no mi fruit. The um...snow leopard version I believe. Though I recently consumed it like a week ago so I have no idea how to activate my powers or anything. I did once but it was out of random time. So Gold..what else do you want to know? And what's your motive?" she said. KeeNan took another bite out of the sanwhich as she went to her next one.

She was devouring through the food like no tomorrow. It must of been a side effect of the devil fruit or maybe just not eaten for a while. The redhead had not apped into her power like She had with her swordsman or beast training. It was a lot easier with that but an actually physical power that reminder her of magic was another ordeal. She paused from eating and just wondered why this guy hide his face.

She paused. She knew sort of the leopard fruit from reading about it or something back a few years ago. Nothing really struck her that someone would actually bare the fruit. Laughing at his joke a little, it was nice actually laughing for once in a long while. Really she always had a hard time even talking to people. "Talk about a small world! I really don't know how to take this devil fruit honestly. Its something that just happen. The increase in hunger and progressive mood swings are.just some of the changes in mood. Nice to finally meet someone who can relate" she smiled.

She finished her meal within seconds along with her drink now feeling full for the first time in a long time. Thinking back to the days when her brother was around, she never had a full stomach when she lived on the streets after their mansion was burned down. Since then she.had ways been at some degree starving. "Its weird for me to.be this open to anyone. Kind of nice to know someone will not rip my head off. And the privilege of actually having a full stomach feels so great until my hunger strikes back again. Being a one man crew.surely has its downfalls. A lot. When I consumed my devil fruit, I was.so.hungry I didn't even know what I was eating until it was too late. It tasted awful. Powers are great but also a curse" she mentioned. She looked at Gold who actually put down his hood seeing his face. "What's your input on these...powers? Maybe get an opinion from a fellow leopard" she asked.

A small smile appeared on her lips. There was an unfamiliar feeling inside her heart she hadn't felt in a long time. It wasn't a bad feeling but he was a happy one she put on her finger on it. Just the talk with this man in front of her she never felt so happy before. The talking about the fruit was something different too she had a true connection. He invited her to go on his ship with him where there was food and beer. It was a lovely offer so she kept their guard up in case it never hurts to be too careful."I can't refuse. Food always sounds good to my.ears. As long as you don't mind a fellow stranger?" she smiled

She got up as they would walk out the door together. It made her wonder why he had on a hood before hand. Perhaps like her, he had to keep activity low key. The walk was nice with sunny weather and not too hot wih a light breeze. Thoughnbeing around new people did make her.nervous since she wasn't good with them. "This is perhaps the most activity I've done with another person before" she smiled looking up at him.

There was nothing more than what she needed as to be around her own kind. The redhead walked with her eyes open like a little kids. Sometimes she could remain cold, but when it really boiled down to it shew as an innocent little girl or what at least was left of one. Leparo had muttered something under his breath as LeeAnn looked over at him. She heard what he had said as she remembered her brother saying stuff like that all the time about how innocent she was or something off topic like how sensitive she could be towards other creatures like a injured cat or dog.

The approached a large ship that she could tell was a crew of men and women. Hearing them call Leparo captain she flinched and looked at him. They all seemed happy about his return lifting their mugs of beer in honor. From her observations, they were pirates no doubt. The large amount of people made her nervous. She wasn't the best with a large group. One or two sure that was fine, but a large group of more than five made her nervous. She took a step back feel overwhelmed. Caught off guard he literally said shew as apart of his crew? LeeAnn turned red a little from being put on the spot so much. "I...I am what now? Apart of your crew? Are you sure? I mean we only just met and...food?" she said. Getting distracted, she walked on the ship staying near Leparo as she was being a wee bit overwhelmed with the sudden attention they were all giving her. "Welcome to the crew" they would greet her. A small nervous and shy smile came from her as she nodded. "Thank you, pleased to be apart of such a lovely crew" she smiled.
