"I didn't think our first place would be.... so. So, magnificent. But there is something off about this place." Derous would utter under his breath as soon the ship that finally reach their first destination. After a few days of traveling and not seeing anything at all they came upon something truly out of this world. Any city or kingdom within the Blues paled in comparison to this place, as something like this in Derous mind was impossible. Derous would shack his head and regain his composure.
"Captain Zed. Call everyone front and center." Derous would say to Zed, who came to Derous' side after they had docked. Zed also was amazed at this place but didn't show any real emotion, this mainly due to his mask covering most of his face. But still he kept it cool. He would do as Derous asked and would call out to everyone to come to where he was. Then and only then would Derous begin to talk.
"Look, do you all see this place? It's amazing isn't it? But look around more. Do you see anything out of place? Well, I do. As there is no sign of the World Government's flag. No where at all. And that isn't right. This place is beautiful and truly magnificent, but they lack true protection from Pirates.... or even those damn Revolutionist. So, we have to fix that. We must! It is our duty. But, I say everyone can have a free day. Explore this place, but. Tomorrow we will begin to make this as they should be." Derous would announce to them all. Derous did not lie with what he said and does feel the World Government should have influence here. But, he also had other motives for saying this. Just looking at this place you could tell it brought in a large sum of wealth. And if one were to control this you could easily establish yourself as one of the wealthiest people in the Grand Line. And Derous wanted that. As with wealth brought power. Zed and the ensigns would quickly leave the ship. Wanting to explore before they had to get to work. Zed though wanted to find out more information and also see if what Derous claimed was right. Yes, there weren't' any World Government flags anywhere to be seen, but maybe they just weren't up. He just had hopes what Derous said wasn't true, as that would be bad. As that would mean this place is lawless and truly dangerous to anyone that enter it.
Derous would stay on the ship as he wanted to speak with Asher. Also, he had a feeling there was someone else on the ship, for what he noticed a few days ago. So, he wanted to snuff them out now and deal with them. Maybe with hostility or with them following him. Just depended on the type of person they were.
