Kyoto was currently being escorted to the small arena on the sandy beach. After defeating the pirate captain that had attacked 80th Branch only two days ago she had been given the rank of “Lieutenant”. The rank was not much, but she did now have some authority over the pirates that were ranks below her. Though, upon becoming a Lieutenant she had been invited to a tournament of all the lieutenants on on the 80th Branch. Which was not many seeing as most easily surpassed this rank because of power. Something that Kyoto was not sure she had at the moment. She didn’t know much about this tournament besides the fact that whoever won would be known as the top lieutenant on the island and maybe some beli. As she walked towards the beach she could see a crowd of blue and white on one side and on the opposite were many different colors. Marines and Civilians. She was quite pleased to see the civilians out and about. Many of them were usually at work at this time of day.
“So, who exactly am I fighting.” asked Kyoto as she looked at the marine on her right. The guy would shrug his shoulder as he said “I don’t even know myself. Was surprised that this tournament even was a thing.” he said laughing. Kyoto would frown as she continued to walk forward, her sandals hitting the soft golden sand of the beach. Not knowing who she was facing was lame. Now she was feeling anxious. As she walked on the sand people from both sides would begin to cheer. She would hear a loud booming voice that sounded like the captain.”Now that our contestants are here lets gets this thing started. The rules are that if you step off the arena and touch the sand you are disqualified. No maiming will be allowed. Other than that have fun. May the best man win.” said the man. “You may use any skills that you have. This will be a free for all. The last two standing will fight for the top lieutenant. When the bell rings begin.” said the captain. Kyoto would nod as she crouched slightly and held one hand near her stomach and the other a little in front of her mouth with her fists balled. This was the idol fighting stance her mother had taught her. Strong on her bottom and agile up top. She would smirk as she looked at her opponents three of them seemed to be quite weak. But the last one a woman that was way smaller than herself stood rather calm and looked ready to fight. Kyoto knew that was the one she had to watch out for. She would see the captain’s hand move slightly causing her to rush forward as soon as the bell would ring.
She had ran to her left in a attempt to take out one of the weaker people first and it seemed to be in her favor as the guy was coming towards her. The guy seemed to be running in full speed which was quite good for her.”Gomu Gomu no Kane!” she would scream as her neck stretched back 10 meters and shot forward hitting the man in his own head. The man slowly began to crumble to the ground causing Kyoto to run faster as she jumped in the air spinning around as she also began to consume large amounts of oxygen. Her body would be the size of a boat as her feet would touch the man’s front and push off him as she began to twist her body odly into a spiral, as she did this she heard the words “Total Knockout” from the captain himself. She would have smiled but she was currently holding hair in her lungs to perform her technique. As she spirralled her body to the maximum she would see that grunt 1 and 2 were fighting each other as the lady watched in awe. Her body would begin to squeek as it quickly began to unwrap as she shot forward at the speed of a flying bullet. As she shot forward she would begin to deliver punches easily hitting the two weaker people sending them flying offf the arena. As she could not control her momentum due to her high speed she would continue to go forward heading off the sides of the arena, though she was smart. As she did this she would direct her punches tiwards the ground. Her punches would come to strike the ground as she sent debri into the air. Soon her hands would come to grab hold of the cement as she shot forward. Hitting her maximum stretching limit of 10 meters her body would seem to sting as her skin begin to pull. Streaks of blood would appear as her body went over the side of the arena then let go its stretching shooting backwards back towards the way it was coming. In the direction of the lady who had been for some reason trying to attack Kyoto while she could control her speed.
Kyoto not being able to deliver any punches due to her speed was flying helplessly towards the woman. The woman upon seeing this would hold her positon as she crouched down into a stance similiar to Kyoto’s own. Time would seem to slow as the women and Kyoto were only inches apart. The woman would turn to the side and attempt to grab the hem of Kyoto’s shirt, but it didn’t play out like she thought it would. Kyoto would assume that she had been trying to direct Kyoto’s momentum. The only thing happened was that the woman upon grabbing her shirt would be sent flying due to the speed she was flying at out towards the sea. She would seem to hit the sea as if someone was skipping pebbles. Oops Kyoto thought as her body would begin to slow down and hit the sand.”Now that was amazing. Such fast speed. I almost couldn’t see it. Seeing as Aries struck land first she is the looser. Or should I say water. Though, we can see who is the most powerful.
