"So, we've made it said Mangetsu's apathetic voice as he looked upon the docks of the island of dreams. It was said to be a magical place where pirates and marines walk side by side, a place where dreams of those who visit come true no matter who they are. It was a place of optimism and life but the revolutionary captain wasn't here for any of that, he just came to do his duty. After a few more moments, his submarine was docked at a small yet nice looking place that wasn't too far from the only vastly populated place in dream. "Finally, my dreams will come true! said Carla Redd, the navigator of the heavenly emperors, as she rushed off of the submarine onto the land. "Don't leave the rest of us! said the pink haired Ichimonji, the marksman of the crew who followed after Carla off of the ship. The two where like best friends, never doing anything without one another and always doing something to make sure the other is happy, something that Mangetsu loved. He silently made his way off of the submarine behind the crazy friends and hoped that his new vice captain, Enryu, would shortly follow behind. "Cap, lets go drink! Carla said enthusiastically as she approached Mangetsu and looked at him with pleading eyes. The revolutionary captain didn't say a word and only stared at her, some how conveying what he was thinking.

"Fine, meanie Carla said as she walked back to her position next to Ichimonji. The crew found themselves walking from the docks and immediately into the town of vast people that lived on the island of dream. "You guys remember what to look for, right? Mangetsu said to his crew as looked around for their destination. Mangetsu and his crew weren't suppose to be in dream at all, they where actually suppose to be looking for a treasure far away. However, revolutionary HQ had called him and told him to do a job for them that might also have a treasure involved. "Yeah, we do said both Carla and Ichimonji in tandem as they walked next to Mangetsu and Enryu. They where currently looking for a certain place where underworld brokers would hang out in secret. It wouldn't be easy if he was a normal person but luckily enough the revolutionary army gave him a hunch, a little bar called the White Owl. A few moments later, they came upon the bar that HQ told him about. "Get ready guys, these people probably won't be easy the captain said as he stepped through the old western like doors of the white owl.

It was dark and dingy, with few colored lights scattered throughout . Though dark and dingy, the bar was busier than anything the young man had seen since he was alive. "How can I help you? said a familiar voice, it was old yet sweet and it reminded me of his old life as a pirate. It was the lady who bid him and his old crew a goodbye on Jaya and the one who he thought died, Holly. Shock filtered through him for a second but he didn't show it, he couldn't let her know it was him but it wasn't like his current appearance gave him away as well. "Yes, I'll have one cup of Sake and whatever else for those here" Mangetsu said as he looked at the rest of his crew, he wonder how all of this would play out with his new crew. He could only hope it was good.

Outfit of the Day:

It had been a long night the day before and Ataru was waking up a little later than usual. He felt a tiny bit hung over some of the underworld crowd really knew how to drink.He didn't have much on his schedule today he had recently just acquired some new dials and a blade in a fortuitous trade with another underworld merchant. That was probably his favorite perk of his new found job to have networking with the underworld he could buy anything he needed for his dial work.

Ataru pulled out the new blade Noah, and his new two dials placing them on his bed, a simple full size nothing to extravagant or elegant. It was time for some quick work nothing that would require a full setup he was just going to quickly attach his Thunder Dial to Noah a process that was quickly dwindling on the seas. Ataru focused, observing Noah picking it up and running his thumb over the handle then the hilt. It was always a pretty safe bet to place a dial on the hilt or to replace it entirely with the dial for easy access. He couldn't wait to unleash it he already had it charged , though he wasn't too excited for why he would have too danger seemed to follow Ataru wherever he went. The Thunder Dial in particular was a dangerous dial to be using it could paralyze a person. However ever since Baltigo Ataru did not feel safe anymore he was actually considering how to make even more beli so he could increase his arsenal even more. The Thunder Dial itself was not much to look at and Ataru knew that it was not large enough to create a whole hilt for his dao blade for now it would only have a front hilt until he added another dial to it. Making sure the Dial fit perfectly while still being able to flick it, not accidentally of course it had to be a movement that was not to easy to accomplish but still could be completed quickly. Ataru had found the easiest way to accomplish this was to make sure that the activation of his dial wasn't actually a fine push he could smash his whole meaty upper section of his arm if needed to activate this dial. Normally though he would do this by extending his thumb up the blade and depressing it. Impressed with how quickly it had come together Ataru examined the blade and frowned, in his rushed state he had accidentally put the dial on upside down. He would have to start over he chuckled a little bit, he wasn't sure how he had done that. It took him twice the amount of time that it had taken him to put it on to take it off safely. Afterwards he would take a small break resting his eyes for 30 seconds before starting again. It was much of the same process this time he paid closer attention he must of been more tired than he thought attaching dials to weapons were so basic compared to the ship dials he had been working on. He knew that it was the future of his business and he took pride in all of his dial work. He finished the thought and with it the attaching of the dial to the hilt. He swung his sword around in a couple practice stances moving through basic sword techniques. It felt perfect it was another work of art and the best kind one with practical application.

Sheathing his new blade on the bed he finished his daily hygiene routine and got dressed. It was a pants day the fellows at the bar had laughed him out last time he had worn a skirt and he might have need to do business. He wore his golden outfit something he had become accustom to in his line of new work. It garnered the most respect out of all of his outfits he found it tiring that people were so predictable.He had Noah on his left side sheathed and on his right was his old blade. He had his left and right arms bandaged up in his right palm contained his reject dial in his left his impact dial. In his jacket pocket was his final dial he carried on his person his vision dial. He was headed to the white owl bar it was where a lot of his deals went down. He was greeted by the staff as he walked in the bartender laughed when he asked for a water but wasn't at all surprised given that he had drank here last night. Sitting down at the bar for a while Ataru scanned around the bar seemed packed today, he had picked a good time surely fortune would favor him.

That was when the bar doors opened to a group, Ataru hadn't seen them at the bar before he wondered if they were from out of town. If they were they could be potential customers tourist often came to this bar seeking underworld brokers.In any case he would have his eyes on the figure that looked as if he spoke. Ataru couldn't actually hear them from where he was at so he took a drink of water to look inconspicuous. After he would continue to look at the group, while occasionally pausing to drink water. He wished he didn't have this hangover it would make diplomacy much worse than usual for him. Especially since the bar was so loud tonight he would have to grin and bear it for Beli. He planned to introduce himself to the group once they sat down and sling his usual pitch of having a contact within the underworld.

Upon taking his position as first mate with Mangetsu's Crew, Enryu was excited to get off that god forsaken island known as Drum Island. The weather was too cold, which easily reminded him of his home on Tundra. Since he had begun his journey with the Revolution, Enryu hadn’t thought about his home at all, but the wintery weather of Drum had brought back some of his finer memories of his toxic home. The boy was also excited when they set anchor in the port of the Island of Dreams. The weather was already better than it was on Drum, which made shake with excitement. The crew proceeds off their ship with everyone. Enryu walked beside his Captain while the others followed behind them. Enryu had decided to wear a simple pair of black jeans with a short sleeved white shirt, which looked rather comfortable to wear. He wore his hair pulled back into the normal long ponytail that he was accustomed too, and he didn’t even feel the need to bring any sort of metallic weapon. All Enryu needed to cause some damage was his lightning abilities that he was still trying to get used too.

They made their way through the little town that held the sketchy bar known as The White Owl. Enryu’s captain spoke out about watching themselves in here, but Enryu was ready for everything. He was made of pure lightning. He could make everyone in the bar bend the knee if he wanted too, or so he thought at least. They were greeted upon entry into the bar by a simple waitress, and they were all asked what they wanted to drink. “I’ll have water.” Enryu spoke out in very monotone laced voice. He was scanning the area for anyone who might approach them. He made eye contact with almost everyone in the bar, but he couldn’t get a feel of the area. All he could feel was the raw power flowing through his body; he was virtually vibrating with the lightning through his body. Of course, these powers wouldn’t just spark out unless he wanted it, but anyone close to him, including his Captain, would feel the increase of static electricity around them.

The waitress brought everyone their drinks, and she gave him his water with lemon last with a little pat on his shoulder and a smile before disappear again into the crowd of people. “I really hate it when people treat me like a child.” Enryu sipped his water before squeezing the lemon to get all the juice into his water glass. “I feel that someone is watching us, but I can’t seem to point out where from.” Enryu whispered to his captain while he kept searching the bar inhabitants.

Mangetsu watched as Holly brought their order of drinks, along with the only water to Enryu. All he got was a water with lemon and a pat on the head, it was so amusing that Carla and Ichimonji started to laugh a little. Being the youngest out of all of them, it wasn't surprising that he was treated a bit differently than the rest. Using his only arm to grab his cup of sake, he put the cup to his mouth and began to sip as he heard Enryu whisper to him. "I feel it to Mangetsu said to Enryu as he put his sake cup down. Everyone in the bar was looking at them in some way but there was one patron he noticed when he walked into the door. It may have only been a quick glance but Mangetsu knew that they had peeked someone's interest when they walked into the bar. "I noticed that man by the bartender giving us a look every few minutes since we walked into the bar Carla said nonchalantly as she drank some as well, Ichimonji nodding to indicate that he too noticed the strange man looking at them.

"Enryu, follow me the revolutionary said as he made his way up to the bartender and the rather odd looking man who had watched them walk in. He was dark in completion and was only a few inches taller than Mangetsu himself. His fashion choice was the most eccentric part of him being draped in a long sleeved, gold jacket with very light blue shirt and pants. "Two cups of the strongest sake you have Mangetsu said as he didn't make immediate eye contact with the stranger. After the bar tender gave him his two cups, he passed the other one to the man, "May I ask why you have been watching us? the captain said still not making contact with him. Maybe this man was the broker he had been looking for but HQ never said he would be able to easily pick them out but being new too a place didn't help either. Also depending on the answer the man gave, Mangetsu would choose wether he would use force or not.

The surveillance wasn't going as well as Ataru thought initially. At first everything seemed to be going great as the group started to sit and take drinks, in fact Ataru was just about to approach the group when two of them walked straight towards him. Ataru cursed he knew he had been spotted he was never lucky enough for anything else. Sure enough as the man walked up he ordered two of the same sake that Ataru had the other night, he passed it straight to him he never even bothered to look at him. The other man had red hair and had yet to say anything to him Ataru wasn't sure what to think of him. He had been hit by many a first mate for saying the wrong thing to a captain before they learned he was the underworld broker.

Ataru was pretty sure the man was a pirate as this was how many of his trades with pirates started. The problem was Ataru had no idea how long he would last drinking before he would have to puke, he couldn't let his potential customer see that it would probably end up lowering cost of items. So after a deep breath Ataru smiled and said "Kanpai" then lifted the cup up to his mouth smelling the sake for just a bit, this was an expensive brand after all, then downed all of it with a slight grimace. "I'm Ataru good sir, and I was watching you because I can see that your new in town." Ataru paused for a second here, he needed a win so he was going to just take a shot in the dark. "I'm the contact of an underworld broker that's why you guys are here right? At least that's what new folks usually come looking for, but its an expensive thing meeting with an underworld broker. I don't necessarily mean beli either."Ataru would wait for a response now that he had finished talking. He didn't expect the man to take to kindly to how he spoke to him, but it was all a game if he appeared to weak the man wouldn't believe him.

It was probably one of the things that Ataru hated the most about being an underworld broker. The language the deals all of the extra bullshit that no one talks about. Especially with pirates they always had to prove how "strong" they were with tests and games even in his short time in the revolutionaries that had been a thing. He wouldn't be surprised if the man in front of him wanted something similar. Trust was the real treasure of the ocean now days, that's why Ataru always liked to show trust as much as possible with his customers.

Everyone seemed to get a kick out of the little display of Enryu being treated like a child, but he knew that it was because of his age and rather childish looks. He took another sip of his lemon flavored water, and Mangetsu stood up and commanded him to follow him. Of course, Enryu stood up with him and walked not far behind him up to the man at the bar. The man spoke of an underworld broker that he was the voice for, which made Enryu raise an eyebrow at that. Everything was seemly turning out to be exactly what they needed for their task to be completed.

“I will have another water and lemon, Bartender.” The bartender gave Enryu a strange look before sliding another glass of water into his hand down the car. Taking a long sip from the glass, he glanced at the man his captain was addressing again with his violet and red eyes before letting a bit of electricity spark off his body. “If you have anyone else here aiding you, we do not wish to fight.” Enryu let a perfect smile slide across his face as he let his lightning habits shoot from one side of his glass of water to the other. The Lightning Human was still getting used to his abilities, and these kind of voltage needed to be released every once and awhile, which is why he has been playing with the water in the glass.

Unfortunately Enryu’s lightning was zipping around his insides without any way to come out; this is what brought him to creating a small little throwing knife in his right hand. Nodding his head to the bartender and to his captain, Enryu simply began to twirl the little throwing knife through his fingers. This little knife wouldn’t be used to kill, hurt, or even attack anyone within the room unless they were provoked. He simply wished to let loose a little static electricity to ease his bodily pains. The throwing knife flicked from finger to finger, knuckle to knuckle, and finally with one fluid movement. Enryu pushed himself off the bar, turned, and flicked the throwing knife straight towards a dart board across the bar. Everyone seemed to jump before looking awe struck at the sixteen year old boy that had threw the lightning knife into the bulls-eye. “Sorry, I just had to give it a little try.” Enryu chuckled before returning his attention back at his captain and the unknown individual.

Mangetsu listened closely while the man talked and introduced himself as Ataru. He explained that his reason for watching them was that they seemed to be new in town and continued saying that he was in contact with an underworld broker, maybe it was the one that that his superiors had sent him here for. While thinking of a reply to the man, Enryu let out one first, telling him Ataru that they didn't wish to fight and Mangetsu agreed simply by nodding his head. If they were to fight anyone here, their cover might be blown and they wouldn't be able to contact the underworld broker that would give them the information that they needed. However, Enryu's word didn't seem to match up with his actions, as his lightning powers seemed to run amuck just a little. He let off little sparks of lightning and even created a throwing knife out of pure lightning. It was rather cool and snazzy but it also drew attention to them, something which Mangetsu did not want at all. It was worsened by the fact that he threw the knife, gaining the attention of the whole bar. Mangetsu wasn't very pleased at his little show but wouldn't show it, he would talk to him after they finished this mission.

"As my comrad has said, we do not wish to fight Mangetsu paused as he downed his shot of the most expensive sake in the bar. It was bitter but sweet at the same time, he usually didn't like the taste of sake but this was pretty amazing to him. Digging his mind out of it's depths, Mangetsu continued to speak. "and I will pay any price to meet the broker of whom you speak of he looked directly into the eyes of Ataru as he said this, showing him that what he was saying was true. He had no clue who this man was but he seemed trustworthy telling them about the prices they may have to pay to meet with a broker, as many let those learn on their own. Mangetsu himself was one who had to learn on his own and it eventually lead him to another life threatening situation that almost left him dead.

Looking over to his other two crew members still sitting in their seats, Mangetsu looked at them and signaled for them to come over with them. They both said nothing as they made their way to their captains position, with Carla getting whistles and looks as they did so. "Seems like I'm pretty popular, Cap Carla said as she approached Mangetsu and caressed his chest sensually. He quickly gave her a stern look which made her stop and go stand next to Enryu and a red faced Ichimonji. I almost forgot to introduce myself and my friends He said to Ataru with his usual apathetic tone "My name is Mangetsu, the lightning boy is Enryu and those two are Carla and Ichimonji Even if he didn't want to give out their names to someone that might be a potential danger to them, he knew it would be rude not to introduce themselves to the man Ataru. "Now Ataru, may we go meet the broker? he wasn't trying to seem like he was rushing but Mangetsu couldn't deny that what lied ahead might be something greater than he has ever known and he didn't want to waste another minute getting to it.

He watched as his young red hair companion manifested sparks from his body, he was either a cyborg or a devil fruit user Ataru wasn't quite sure. He created a little spark dagger playing with it before throwing it. All in all it was a decent trick though it was obvious that everyone was staring at the group now as the rest of the crew approached him at the bar. Word would spread quickly in the underground Ataru was known at this bar at least by some of the patrons as the Minstrel. It was good PR in his book all of the underworld brokers liked to compare experiences whenever they met since beli had long ago lost its luster in their eyes. So the more stories a broker had to tell the more well received he was by the rest. The captain then introduced himself and the rest of his crew his name was Mangetsu it didn't sound familiar so Ataru was content with it and the question that followed.

"That all depends on your reasons for the visit but we shouldn't talk about such things here I have a private table in the back." Ataru was completely lying of course, this wasn't his room but a room that belonged to all of the underworld brokers. He happen to know for a fact that the only one on island was Shen who had his own palace on the island so he never used the room. He got up and walked up to the bartender telling him the code and receiving a key. Unlocking the door to a basement door in the corner of the bar Ataru walked in first "Last one in close the door and use the padlocks, take a seat anywhere." There was a large round table with 12 chairs at the table and more chairs in the corners of the room. It didn't smell particularly nice when brokers met with customers their was often drinking and gambling the smell was the result of too much of both.

Ataru strode up to one of the chairs not any in particular and sat down once everyone was seated he would begin speaking again. "What is it that you seek with the Underworld Broker? Have full confidence that everything spoken here is in full confidentiality, besides my master Minstrel no one will ever hear of this conversation again."It was the usual vote of confidence Ataru gave customers regarding their privacy. Privacy meant quite a lot to powerful people, Ataru was very curious on what this man's request would be. He had all sorts of ideas racing through his head but he was expecting Mangestsu wanted weapons.

Enryu’s little trick happened without a step, but he quickly made the dagger disappear in the dartboard. Obviously, he could tell that his captain wasn’t the happiest of campers because of his little trick, but Enryu needed to let loose some energy or he would rebound. The Goro Goro no mi was raw lightning that was zipping and zapping throughout every cell and every fiber of his being. Enryu knew he would get a little talking too once they finally made it back to the ship, but he was fairly certain that he could talk to his captain and explain everything. Mangetsu confirmed they were not there for fighting, and he even introduced everyone to this Middle Man. “I wonder why they have to do the whole middle man thing.” Enryu thought as he drained the remaining water from his glass and placed the lemon slice in his mouth.  Finally his Captain asked about when we would meet this mysterious broker, whom the middle man named Ataru walked them towards a meeting place.

Enryu brought up the rear, closed the door, and locked it like the Ataru man directed. Finally the hallway opened up to a table with twelve chairs all around it, Enryu decided it would be perfect to use his little Devil Fruit while they were in his Basement Room. He quickly zipped towards a chair that had perfect outlook towards the door they came through and everyone in the room. “Sorry, I like to have my back towards the wall. Only way to make myself feel safe!” Enryu let another little smirk spread across his face. The middle man named Ataru mentioned the Master Minstrel as the Underworld Broker that he was affiliated with. “That doesn’t seem to ring any bells.” Enryu thought as he watched his Captain and the other crew member’s reaction to this phrase. Obviously, he wouldn’t dare speak up unless he was given the signal too by his captain. So he would keep a lower profile than what he did before.

The Raw lightning in Enryu’s body had gotten a little easier from his little knife throwing trick upstairs, but he knew that he would have to learn to control this unbelievable abilities that he was given. He also knew that his Captain would be able to help him do that as well. The small display of his abilities while they were in Drum was more than enough for Enryu to fully commit himself to Mangetsu’s crew. They were treasure Hunters after all, which seemed like the best life to learn control in.

2) Spawn your NPC closer to your own character if you plan on initiating any form of combat with the participants in the topic.

Ataru replied to Mangetsu's question by saying that meeting the broker all depended on the reason for their visit, the revolutionary captain knew that this was sort of a bluff but would not give a look or say anything that would possibly give that away. Keenly watching Ataru, Mangetsu noticed that he asked the bar tender for a code and a key, walking over to a door in the side of the bar that Mangetsu believed may or may not lead to the basement. After opening the door Ataru walked in first heading down stairs to a basement with Enryu, Carla, Ichimonji and Mangetsu behind him. Being in the lead of the crew, Mangetsu would reach the spacious room in the basement and notice the round table with twelve chairs while more chairs sat back in the corner. "A hidden room for the brokers? Mangetsu thought to himself as he looked around. He honestly thought that the room might have been more snazzy and all but seeing as brokers are strictly about their business, he could see why it wasn't as spectacular. Mangetsu sat down right after Ataru did, sitting on the other side of him with Carla and Ichimonji . It was weird but something didn't feel right at all, however he couldn't put a finger on it, all he knew was that he had to be cautious from now on.

Enryu was the last in, so he closed and locked the door to the room and immediately zipped across the room in a flash. The boy seemed to really like to show off his powers but Mangetsu also knew he was still getting use to them so he didn't want to be too harsh. " I've gotten word of a treasure, very old and very large and it seems the broker you know may know something about it Mangetsu said to Ataru. He himself had no clue what this treasure was at all but the way HQ put it, it was rather power treasure as well. He thought that it could possibly be nothing but gold, however the army wouldn't emphasize on what it might have been. If this mission didn't go well and the broker couldn't make it, he would make someone at the base tell him. "But before we meet the broker, may I ask what you do, Ataru? Mangetsu asked as he peered into the man's eyes, his cold eyes seeming like they where trying to dig deep into his soul. Due to this man being a stranger, he didn't know if he could set them up or not despite being respectful so far. Maybe he was the broker but didn't wish to say anything yet, if so, Mangetsu would try to make him say before they went any further.

Ataru noticed that the Enryu seemed to love using his lightning it he wondered if he was Mangetsu child or sibling. His comment made him grin about the wall , the thing about being a broker is that everyone wanted to steal from you. He had heard stories of Broker's who had sold a slave to a noble then find his house had been broken into by the same slave he sold. It was all over the place everyone wanted to steal from merchants. That's why Ataru trained so hopefully he wouldn't be robbed.

After everyone was seated Ataru responded to the answer and question that Mangetsu had asked him. From the way he described what they were looking for Ataru was sure he had something like that. He would have to take them to Broker Shen for great treasures he was bragging about a couple different recent discoveries of his the other night. That would also reduce the amount of beli he could charge for helping them as well. However Ataru couldn't really complain about the beli so he started to answer Mangetsu question."Well I'm afraid the Minstrel won't have something like that but I know someone who does in town.  In exchange I'd just like a small finders fee we can discuss how much after the meeting and depending on how it goes. I wouldn't want you to feel cheated or swindled would hurt my reputation. " He grinned when Mangetsu asked him who he was it was an odd question to ask a person. Me personally, I'm just another man trying to make beli in this horrible world. I'm working on becoming a bigger name in the underworld markets that's pretty much it." He met Mangetsu stare as he spoke, he had no ill intentions towards them, it wouldn't be much harm to stall telling them a little longer. Either way they'd find out once they arrived at the palace.

"Once we are in Broker Shen's palace there's no guarantee what will happen he is a little eccentric. So it'd be best to prepare now before we head out. Are there any more questions for me?" He looked around at the band they definitely seemed like pirates, though Mangetsu the leader gave him an odd feeling. He couldn't place his finger on it just yet or maybe it was just the hangover. He really wish he had some more water they really needed to add a stocked bar or something in this room. Then again it wouldn't be very secretive then, plus all the other broker's just used their slaves for that kind of thing. The word slave always seemed to ring hollow in Ataru's head but he had to focus for now.
