Spoiler:

Bouncing off the air itself, Murcielago observed the Long Leg as he stepped off the cratered wall and brushed the loose pebbles off himself. Once he was done he looked up at Murcielago and gave a smile as he shielded the sun out his eyes. "Geppo is a tough one to get the hang of, but I see you're doing just fine. Even got the sun to your back and in my face. A fine tactic if I do say so myself." The Vice Admiral didn't care for the compliment even though he felt the tactic he employed was a smart choice. Despite this his foe wasn't shaken a bit, but this could just be a front. One never wanted to show the opponent they were phased by a tactic employed. Still observing keenly as he worked to familiarize himself with the feel of the Geppo technique, he saw the Lieutenant perch his leg up to his chest. "Ah ah ah! Basics only!" Both Murcielago and the Lieutenant looked over to the Rear Admiral, whose eyes were daggers on the Lieutenant in a scolding fashion.

The Lieutenant responded by scrunching his mouth to the side and adjusting his form. Now he angled his body so it wasn't directly facing Murcielago. His eyes remained locked onto the Vice Admiral however. Soon after this adjustment was made, the leg reeled back and in that moment Murcielago knew what was to come. "Rankyaku!" The Lieutenant shouted as he kicked into empty space towards the Vice Admiral and unleashed a cleaving crescent of wind.

Already in the air, Murcielago could either move up or down, just left or right wasn't an option due to the nature and placement of the cutting attack. Figuring it was easier to just stop using Geppo than to try to use it and accidentally fail under pressure, he let his body lose enough altitude so the air blade sailed overhead and off into the sky. "Good dodge! Now keep it up!" Again the Lieutenant kicked at Murcielago and again and again, back to back. So sailed sideways, some were perfectly vertical, others were diagonal and now the Vice Admiral couldn't just stop using Geppo to dodge them, he actually had to move upwards and to his sides. Sometime the Lieutenant even shot the airwaves out into empty space cutting off dodging passage ways and forcing the Vice Admiral to move in certain directions. Growing tired of practically being under the flame for so long, Murcielago began to gather focus to produce his own Rankyaku. In turn the quality of his Geppo lessened and he found himself getting cut shallowly here and there, but it wasn't long before he found his chance to retaliate. Harmless amounts of blood lost, he kicked at the Lieutenant when the opportunity presented itself and the result was a Rankyaku that was much smaller than the Long-Legged's own. This was probably due to his proficiency with the Power, but also the length of his legs. Despite this the little crescent had some spunk and power. Probably fueled by Murcielago's anger, it cleaved through all that was in its way, dispelling the inferior incoming Rankyaku's and forced the Lieutenant to dodge.

Wasting no time, he used his years of battle experience to predict a window to attack would be presented and he took it. Using Soru and Geppo like the Lieutenant had did before, Murcielago took off towards the Lieutenants general area eagerly anticipating how he would dodge the attack. With nothing but a swift side step, it still was all Murcielago needed to seal the deal. Using Geppo again, he pushed off the air to shift his positioning, putting him on a collision course with the Lieutenant while his attention was being readjusted and the Rankyaku wave crashed into the rock behind him. Soon after like a torpedo Murcielago came head first crashing into the Lieutenant. Not having enough time to dodge just as Murcielago had did prior to crashing, the Lieutenant employed Tekkai, making it a battle between armors. Who ever could reinforce their body the most would come out on top, the momentum Murcielago had gained now becoming a potential hazard to himself.

"Oh my." The crash sent dust and debris over most of the training grounds and a few pebbles sprinkled on the Rear Admiral who was wafting away the dirt. As it all settled, the results came in with Murcielago on top. His head had collided directly with the Lieutenants stomach and with a superior Tekkai, he was able to still cause damage and cause the man to drop his Tekkai. As a result he took collateral damage from falling and crashing into the wall that was behind him. Gathering himself to a stand the Vice Admiral rubbed his head as it was a bit sore even though he had taken precautions.
