While Bando preferred to let the Rear Admiral come to him so he could knock her out cold, in this case, such a scenario wasn't an option, as his attack actually managed to destroy some of the structural support for the building, even though it was generally a scaled down version of his maximum power. It'd seem he'd underestimate the extent of his power, and while he would definitely celebrate later, seeing this as a good mark for the progress he'd made in the past couple of months, now wasn't the time to do such a thing. Thus, as soon as Bando picked up a sign that the building was starting to collapse(which was pretty much as soon as it started), he'd run out the same entrance he came from, right where Ritz was waiting(not that he'd know, of course!). Obviously, if his battle experience taught him anything of importance, it was to always stay on alert, and because of this experience that he'd learn, while running outside Bando would stay on guard, using all of his senses to aid him just in case any marine outside was planning a sneak attack. After all, it wouldn't be very smart to say the marines gave up chasing him when he'd cause so much trouble already.

And, luckily for Bando, taking the time to prepare himself for a confrontation while he fled the building would pay off. As he exited through the doorway, his eyes scanned the area his Marksman eyes aiding him in spotting Ritz and a projectile flying at him. Given his prowess as a marksman, it wasn't so hard to aim an attack at Ritsu while he was in motion, especially considering the attack he was about to use was gonna be a large projectile. He'd have to be mentally disabled to a severe degree to miss! Obviously, while his eyes took some time to scan the area whilst in the middle of his run, Ritsu would have already fired her shot at him due to Bando sticking out like a sore thumb, and thus, by the time he noticed the projectile was a threat to him it was already seven meters away from him.

However, given how good his eyes were at perceiving things due to his training as an expert marksman and despite the fact that Ritsu's attack was barely visible, Bando was still able to perceive it, and once his eyes caught sight of it he would immediately swing his arm forth, producing yet another sphere of air from the force the arm swing created. But, unlike the first time he attempted to perform this attack, Bando wasn't caught in a vacuum which negated most of his offensive attacks, and thus, barring any occurrences that the novelist wouldn't have been aware of, this attack should have came out perfectly! This sphere was thirteen meters in diameter, and thus, once it came out from the swing of Bando's arm, it should have easily been able to tag Ritsu considering the area it covered when it spawned.

The intense winds produced from this attack would have easily been enough to overpower her attack(or at least, should have been), and upon impact, Bando put enough power behind the attack with the intent to knock her out cold. If the attack landed successfully, it should have carried her off twenty meters into a stone wall, further augmenting the damage that the overall attack would have done(just in case she wasn't out cold, however unlikely that such a thing was). She appeared to be some skinny little girl, so honestly, Bando figured that she couldn't have weighed all too much, and thus, the power of his wind should have been more than enough to carry her off. But, honestly, Bando truly believed that the initial attack would have succeeded in knocking her out. The rest were mere contingencies. Nevertheless, Bando was on guard for any type of trickery that might've occurred.

It looked like the boy was anticipating he would get attacked when he escaped because as soon as he made it out of the building he fired off an attack at high speed. She recognized the change in the position of his arm from his earlier attempt at it which didn't work even if she didn't see the actual arm movement. She instinctively prepared herself to let whatever attack that was pass through her in case it headed her way, but it never did. She didn't know what he was looking at or who he was aiming for. Cause at that moment, there were 6 possible targets in different positions that he could have chosen to assault. He wouldn't be able to distinguish who he was attacking as he was hurriedly running out of the collapsing building at a speed that would give him tunnel vision, so everything around him was a barely distinguishable blur.

The unfortunate victim was one of the unarmed Marines who ran out first earlier. From the kid's blurred point of view, he must have looked threatening somehow. The grunt was hit by a large scale wind pressure attack that smashed him into a building. The force of the attack would tear a large hole in the wall of the building as well, causing much bigger damage than what he did in the building in the south. It was less of a hole and more of an entire chunk on the side of the building blown away. These were some of the older buildings in Marineford so stone and wood was all they were made of. Even if he was just aiming to knock out a Rear Admiral, this was the bare minimum of force required to do so.

As for Ritsu's situation, her exact position was right against the wall of the south building. Meaning in order for her to have been spotted, the kid would have to turn his head back as she would be behind him as he ran out. It was more realistic for the kid to focus his attention on the blurred figures ahead of him who were the unarmed Marines who escaped him from earlier. The Rear Admiral wasn't expecting his kind of speed, but had already shot her own attack on reflex, which would probably only graze him if he moved fast enough.

It seemed she had to take things a bit more seriously now. Since it hindered the kid before, it was probably in her best interest to use it again, especially since it looked like her opponent used air pressure attacks. She activated her vacuum field occupying the field until 30 meters out from her current location. At this time, the boy was about 10 meters away from her so he would definitely be within its boundaries. The field would activate all around him without any clear direction of origin. Her being positioned somewhere behind him probably wouldn't confuse him for too long as if he stopped running he would easily spot that she was not among the 4 people ahead of him with 1 guy blasted away from his earlier attack and so he would start looking around for her. The remaining 4 would get caught in her field though too, which was unfortunate but she didn't have much choice.

She carefully awaited his next move as her vacuum field would again rob him of the ability to breathe or use his air attacks. She was ready to respond in case he once more tried to perform a desperate attack of some sort. The building that got damaged was the east one which would be on Ritsu's left currently, with the south building to her back.

In her mind she felt a slight regret that she had to rely on her power on this occasion. Then again, the fact that she did spoke volumes of the level of opponent she was facing. As the sphere of wind passed through her, it tore a huge chunk of the west and south building as they formed a corner behind where she was standing. It was hard not to be impressed by someone who could blast holes through buildings, even though they were only made of wood and stone. It was certainly disadvantageous to her to fight someone who was more willing to deal collateral damage to the surroundings and people than she was. This was no time to remain idle, though would it seem like the kid eased up slightly thinking his attack might have been effective. Well, he would have thought wrong.

Since the jig was up, there was no point in hiding her powers anymore. She would employ the full use of her Logia abilities from here on out. As soon as the air sphere passed through her, if the boy did not move from his position, Ritsu would disperse her body into the air at high speed, the streaks of wind coming from all directions, assuming he could perceive them. It would be nigh impossible for him to even pinpoint her real body in this situation though. Her target would be directly on top of his head, a common blind spot for all people unless they somehow thought to look up in this situation. But it would be a long shot as the dispersed wind was coming from everywhere and there would be no way to determine the exact point of attack until the last moment. The Rear Admiral would make sure that was the case.

Should the boy stay put and not move or look up, her left fist would materialize first an instant before making contact with the top of the boy's head. It would already be imbued with vibrations and would deliver a blow that would result in multiple fractures on his skull and rattle his brain to near fatal levels, though she would hold back enough to knock him out cold for at least a day. Should the boy look up for some reason, then she would materialize her left fist right behind his head instead to deliver the vibration imbued punch. She had the liberty to adjust her actions like this as in that situation, she could freely observe him, while her body was just the scattered wind around him. The rest of her body would materialize only after the boy had been smashed to the ground by her blow and knocked unconscious.

Should the boy move out of the range of her attack before she could execute it, then she would instead activate her vacuum field again to try and stop him from performing any more of his air pressure attacks while she considered her next move. In this situation, she would materialize her body only after the vacuum field was deployed and the kid was already caught in its effects, once more robbing him of the ability to breathe. It would be unfortunate as well that the 5 Marines from earlier would get caught in the field too, but it was a necessary sacrifice.

Meanwhile, the commotion caused by portions of buildings getting blown apart had grown too big to ignore. On the other side of the debris and wreckage from the kid's air attack on the south and west building, a new company of Marines was rushing forward to see what was up. They would enter the field through the opening created by the kid's attack, directly behind Ritsu. But by the time they reached there, rifles at the ready, the exchange would already be over. Either the kid was knocked out on the ground by the Rear Admiral, or Ritsu had her vacuum field activated to hinder him. Should the situation they find be the latter, then she would use hand signals to direct them to provide covering fire for her, shooting at the boy in the hopes of disabling him while he was suffering from suffocation.

It seemed she had nothing to worry about after all. Her attack connected, smashing the kid into the ground, his body even bouncing once from the force of the impact. His skull was fractured and she wouldn't be surprised if he suffered a bit of brain damage and maybe memory loss from being hit that hard in the head. Whatever the case, he was out cold and was unlikely to wake up for a few days. Hopefully when he did, he would still retain enough of his memories to give the interrogators something to work with.

Right on cue, reinforcements arrived, entering from the opening created by the boy's attack on the buildings earlier, understandably confused at what was going on. One of the men approached her and she explained she was dealing with a kid of unknown affiliation assaulting Marines. She pointed at the unconscious boy lying on the ground. She then instructed a few of them to check the buildings for anyone injured who might have gotten caught in the boy's attack as well as call in additional hands to help clean up the aftermath of the battle. It was a good thing the lockdown was still in place so it wasn't difficult to get a hold of Marines to assist. It would take time but the structures would get fixed. Oddly enough, despite the extensive damage to the surroundings, Ritsu wasn't responsible for any of it. The Marines who ran from the boy earlier and saw how the fight concluded would attest to that. She hoped the higher ups would praise her for her restraint this time around.

When the unconscious kid was secured on a stretcher, she instructed them to take him to island hospital to get patched up and then get immediately moved to the island jail afterward. He was no weakling and she stressed the importance of keeping him under strict guard despite being out cold. It was highly unlikely he would behave himself whenever he eventually woke up so they had to be extra careful.

After making sure they got her instructions, she decided to leave them to their work and be on her way. She was still in the middle of investigating the assassin prior to this untimely interruption and she had to get back on the case. Her destination was the docks where presumably Anubis would be waiting. Hopefully he wouldn't be too displeased with her tardiness. The opponent she dealt with was no pushover. She left the filing of the report of this incident to the Marines at the scene so they had all the details in case someone questioned them after she left. For now her priority was the assassin and getting all the information she could about him.
