"YOOOO! WHICH ONE OF YOU LADIES ARE UP FOR A SPAR?"

Y'know, Bando had much better ways of collecting fight data then going into one of Marineford's training fields and asking people of a spar, but he couldn't help himself! He was a fighter at heart, plus he wasn't very too fond of marines, so kicking some ass would be extremely cathartic for all the difficulties they gave him in his earlier years. But, unfortunately for him, it seemed as if he were a ghost. Of course, with how famous of a writer he was, he got the occasional glance, some of the mutters like "Isn't he the that made that awesome book?" and stares that meant "I want you inside of me", but no one actually directly addressed him, which had him more than a little salty.

These stupid marines! I took the time out to wear lower level clothes than I usually do so my good clothes don't get messed up in the midst of a spar, and they won't even pay attention to me. I knew my agent booking me in Marineford was a bad idea..the only upside to this whole trip is the spying opportunities it'll offer.

Sighing, he looked down at the clothes he was wearing. They weren't exactly tacky, and they still cost a pretty penny due to how comfortable they were, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that people were avoiding him due to these clothes. An orange jumpsuit with black sandals and a black line running through the middle? What was this, the 90s? But, that was the more illogical, narcissistic part of himself talking, and luckily for a spy such as himself, it was a smaller portion of his brain. The logical part of him noticed how stressed every marine looked, and how tense the atmosphere was. Something was going on, and while Bando wasn't exactly sure what it was, he'd get to the bottom of it.

"C'mon, I know all you ladies can take five minuted of your time to spar me! I'm sure it'll be even quicker, haha."

[i]Mask your expressions, appear to be calm, they won't read your intentions, as soon as you're in
let them all know who they're all in the presence of..

It was one of the basic rules of being a spy, and thus, until he could extract more information he continued on with this perfect facade of happy and carefree, smiling and laying his back against a tree while he waited for anyone to take up his request on the spar. As he patiently waited for someone to interrogate, his eyes took in information of the surrounding area more closely. After all, it was vital for him to learn as much of the place he would be fighting in as possible. Only a careless spy would do otherwise.

This training field is pretty massive, but then again, it's Marineford so it's to be expected. Fifty meters in size, not many obstructions besides small logs here and there. The tree I'm leaning on is the only tree besides the one at the other end of the field, and the field is grassy. Honestly, it's a pretty simplistic field, but then again, I've seen more complicated ones on this island. It's nice if you want to have a mano a mano fight.

"C'mon! I'll give you a free copy of Sexual Ecstacy along with a short Yaoi story I wrote. I know girls love them some Yaoi."

This time, he got a few more interested glances, but still, none took him on his offer yet. Annoyed, he started to do some pull ups on a sturdy tree branch, still imploring girls to spar him with the offer of a good Yaoi story and a free BEST SELLING book.

Ritsu had to make a short detour before meeting up again with Anubis to deal with the killer. His theory of who it was seemed believable but at the same time she didn't want to take any chances that it could be someone else. He could even have an accomplice for all she knew. That's why in addition to locking down Marineford, her other main priority was gathering information. She was meeting up with one of her men to get an update on the progress on that. The meeting spot was next to an open training area. Thanks to Anubis' detailed prodding she had arrived a bit later than the agreed time. The ensign was already there waiting for her with his report.

"Sorry for being late. How are we doing?"

The man saluted before proceeding to speak.

"We have searched all records of people entering Marineford in the last few weeks, particularly Ensigns and below. There was no Ensign Nen among them ma'am. Not even any similar names."

It seemed she was tricked again. Of course the man would be using multiple names. He wasn't an amateur who was going to let himself get easily caught. In hindsight, she wondered if she should have asked Anubis what aliases the man tended to use. Perhaps it would have been helpful in their search. In any case the name "Ensign Nen" was useless to them now, though it was not something she would forget anytime soon.

Her train of thought was interrupted by the shouting of a young man in an orange jumpsuit some 50 meters away from them leaning against a tree near the other end of the training field. He wasn't a Marine that's for sure. By now orders on the lockdown would have reached most if not all the troops and so everyone should be busy with investigations, patrols and guard duty. Of course she knew there were also certain civilians permitted on the island who were relatives of Marines. Protocol would call for them to stay indoors until the lockdown was lifted but it was likely this boy didn't know that.

A couple of Marine Ensigns nearby would have enough of his attention seeking and would approach him with the intention of taking him back to the civilian residential areas, even if they had to drag him there. They were tall and rather muscular. As they stood next to the kid, he really looked like a little boy beside them.

"Excuse me sir but Marineford is currently on lockdown. We're going to have to ask you to accompany us back to the civilian area. The marine base and training grounds are currently off limits to outsiders until the situation is resolved."

The ensigns would of course not go into any details on the situation. But they would stand there arms crossed, fully expecting the boy to comply with their demands. It was for his safety after all. Ritsu would continue to watch from the distance without moving from where she stood.

Bando stopped his incessant shouting when he heard a group of footsteps approaching him, his eyes turning over to a group of marines who were starting to get a little too close for comfort. Tall, muscular..if fights were won by whoever was the most stereotypical looking hunk of meat, these marines would surely win sug an award. Was he going to get some silly complaint about the noise when they were outdoor in the middle of the day? Perhaps it was related to the tense vibes he was getting from everyone? Whatever the case was, he wasn't moving until he got to know what was going. Bando had rights, and he wasn't going to give them up to fear tactics so easily!

Giving the marines quite the disrespectful glare, he yawned for a few seconds, still casually laying his back against the trunk of the tree.

"Seriously? You guys are seriously talking to belionaire writer Bando Terumi like that, author of the famous Sexual Ecstacy with over five million copies sold? No, see, I don't think you get it. I'm not moving from this spot until you tell me what's going on, and that's final. A part of my basic rights is to know whatever the hell is going on if it's inconveniencing to my well being! Plus, I have family here that I need to inform!"

It was quite clear from his demeanor that Bando wasn't going to move a single inch unless he got what he wanted, and well, if they tried to move him otherwise, they were in for quite the rude awakening in the form of a foot up there ass. He didn't come here for trouble, but it was if trouble decided it wanted to follow him. The young novelist had read far too many manga to know that this was gonna turn into another one of those "situations" that all explode into something serious either party could have easily prevented. But, his disdain for the World Government was high, mixed along with the fact that Bando was particularly cranky today due to losing a bet. Illogical thinking in a potentially dangerous situation was a deadly cocktail, but Bando wasn't afraid of some stupid marines! Half of this group was probably corrupt in one way or another.

Rolling his eyes at the musclebound soldiers, he awaited for them to make a move, if any, so he could perform a counterattack, or if they were actually smart enough to use his help to try and apprehend the criminal they were after. Either way, Bando's trip to Marineford was about to be lit.

The two men sighed as the kid decided he would rather give them a hard time about this. They were not in the mood for games but if they only needed to give him a reason in order to move then they had to think of something. Neither wanted to waste energy on using force.

"Fine. There's a madman on the loose somewhere on the island. They say he's killed people. It's not safe at all to be out. You'd better come with us for your protection."

While that was not quite the entire truth, that was the story most of the lower-ranked Marines knew. Only Rear Admirals and above were briefed about the exact details of the murder of the prince as well as those who were present at the scene itself. These two men were not. The main reason they did not share what they knew from the very beginning was because they did not want to cause any needless panic and worry. The kid seemed to not care about the danger and so they judged they might as well tell him what was up. They continued to stand there waiting for him to finally cooperate since they had given him what he wanted.

Meanwhile, 50 meters away from the scene Ritsu continued her conversation with her underling who had been showing her all the records they were able to pull up just in case she spotted anyone familiar from the pictures. He could have faked his name, but his face would have been far more difficult to fake. She had seen him both with and without his mask and she was fairly confident about her memory. True enough her scrutiny paid off. She found him, hidden among the files of the ensigns as expected. It would have been more difficult to impersonate someone of a higher rank. The name he used on the record was Ira. She would have to remember that.

Satisfied with the progress of the investigation, she sent her underling away to look up for information on the man. In the meantime, she glanced in the direction of the group near the tree on the other side of the training field. They were taking quite a while talking with the civilian. He was probably being uncooperative. It wasn't her problem though.

Bando's eyes widened in surprise as the marines told him the news of some sort of serial killer loose on the island. It was far from fear he was feeling though, more of a realization that connected what was transpiring in Marineford to another separate event that Bando now deduced had a possible connection with each other. If it was true, then this meant major news, and he NEEDED to speak with someone that wasn't some low ranked idiot..someone with clout around these parts. If the men were going to try and take him by force, then he'd have no qualms with kicking some ass, especially given the severity of what these possible implications could mean.

Just..no way. They wouldn't shut the whole city down just because some random is murdering a few people..either they're hiding something, or they simply aren't important enough to know what's going on. If that letter I got is possibly related to what's going on...I'm gonna need to play nice with the marines, at least for now. I am on their island after all, and dealing with a hoard of marines out to eat my ass is troublesome, to say the least.

"You guys dumb? I don't care if five thousand serial killers were on the loose, I'M NOT MOVING FROM THIS SPOT. THIS TREE IS COMFORTABLE AS HELL. YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO TRY TO DRAG ME OUTTA HERE UNTIL A MARINE WITH SOME SORT OF RELEVANT STATUS COMES AROUND AND I CAN TALK TO 'EM!"

Yes, he was changing the terms of the "deal", but so what? Who was going to check him? Plus, this was all working in his favor. He was positive a marine with some sort of decent rank was around here, he just needed to find them. And what better way than causing a commotion? They'd swarm him like flies on a sack of poop, and he was confident enough in his fighting abilities that he could at the very least survive to fill them in on his concerns.

And so, appearing as if he were some angry customer at some form of supermarket, Bando continued his defiance, masking his amusement at the whole situation. Part of him wanted to see just how powerful these marines actually were in recent years, or if they were all just jokes that he could overcome with some brute force. Either way, he could just feel the tension in the air about to explode.

The two men scratched their heads, at a loss at what to do. They didn't know if they were authorized to use force in this situation. And they certainly didn't want to report to their superiors that they couldn't move a lone civilian to safety because he was being stubborn. They didn't know the kid but he seemed to be insisting he was someone important enough that he can ask for officers to talk to. It was really quite a pickle. But maybe he was related to another officer. That would help sort things out.

"Who are you a relative of kid? If it's someone higher up, I'm sure they can tell you what you want. We'll even call him for you."

One of them took out a Baby Den Den Mushi from his pocket to prove he was serious. They couldn't really think of anything else. If the boy really was related to someone higher up it would probably be easier to talk to them than some other unrelated commanding officer. They'd understand their kid was giving them a hard time. But if it turned out the kid was just related to another ensign like them, they could probably tell off the guy for all this trouble and make him buy them a drink.

Meanwhile in the distance, it was nearing the time when Ritsu was supposed to meet Anubis so she had to leave soon. They had to make sure they caught this Nen, or Tenzen or Ira, or whoever he was before he could kill anyone else or escape. The docks were her next destination and she would begin walking there assuming there was nothing to stop her.

Bando has to admit, he was feeling a little bad about what he was going to be doing next. After all, these marines actually seemed like they wanted to help him out, so the very least he could do was knock them out as painlessly as possible. But, starting a fight with these guys was practically a prerequisite to attracting more attention towards him, as much as he didn't want to do it. Luckily for them, Bando was actually pretty good at adjusting the power of his skills to suit weaker opponents, meaning this would be a quick process for everyone involved.

As soon as one of the marines started asking questions about who he was related too, that was when he begun to prepare himself mentally. It was a question he couldn't exactly answer without lying, and lying in this situation wouldn't do him much good, evident when the same marine pulled out a Den Den Mushi. If he were to lie, it would just sprout more questions, questions that would lead him further away from his primary goal. Thus, finishing preparing himself mentally for a battle, just a second after the marine brought out the Den Den Mushi, he swung his hand at a speed that would certainly catch the grunts by surprise. For all they knew, he was a mere writer, or even worse, just some random kid. From the force his arm was swung with, it produced a sphere of wind that traveled at such speeds that fodder such as them didn't have the perception to properly track it, getting caught in the path of the raging wind. It carried them off into the air, far past the other end of the training field and over Ritz' head, screaming as they were sent crashing into a building, completely out cold. They'd probably get out the hospital in a week or two.

"WELL, I DID TELL THEM I WANTED TO SPEAK TO A HIGHER RANKING MARINE! NOW GIVE ME WHAT I WANT OR I'LL START KICKING MORE PEOPLE'S ASSES."

Bando stopped leaning against the tree, taking a stance resembling that of a Rokushiki user, doing his best to seem evil as possible, even if it wasn't who he was. At the very least, one couldn't tell the difference with how skilled of an actor he was. His eyes darted around rapidly, his ears alert and ready for a fight.

I think I could handle an Admiral, but with some injuries..with my luck though, I'll get a Fleet Admiral ready to snuff me out.

And thus, with hostile aura about him, Bando waited for shit to go down rather patiently. If a high ranking marine was here, they definitely would have noticed him sending two marines flying in broad daylight. The only question was, did they care to act on it, especially when Bando was threatening to hurt more people?

I've gotta admit, this isn't the most elegant way to do this, but it's not like I have much of an option..man, this sucks.

Just as Ritsu was walking away, she heard a scream as the two ensigns from earlier were sent flying over her head and crashing into a building. This immediately caused her to turn her attention in the direction of the boy who shouted something about beating people unless a ranking Marine spoke to him. Kid or not, attacking Marines to the point of sending them to the hospital was inexcusable. As far as she saw, the two ensigns were just talking to him. In any case, a boy who can send two big men soaring over 50 meters away was no ordinary guy. A recent memory nudged her thoughts about how she also thought little of an ensign but the same ensign got the best of her. Of course he wasn't really an ensign. But putting that experience to use, she wasn't planning on underestimating the kid considering what just happened.

First thing that crossed her mind was that if he really was a civilian. Someone who can send people flying 50 meters who wasn't a Marine would definitely be closely watched, even if they didn't have this lockdown situation on their hands. Where did this kid come from and why didn't anyone tell her about him? Was he keeping his true abilities secret? If so, why pick this timing to reveal them? It was all hard to make sense of as her thoughts were still mostly on the killer. Someone had to bring this kid in though for questioning and she was the only one around who probably could as the only other Marines in the area were ensigns. A few of them went over to the two that crashed into the building to give them first aid and carry them out. Meanwhile, they looked to the Rear Admiral to resolve the issue.

On a normal day, Ritsu would be pretty excited to face someone potentially strong. But today she was a little tense with all the happenings and so she was more focused and serious than usual. The kid was taking up a martial arts stance which would tell her his preference for hand to hand. It was strangely familiar but she wasn't too concerned about his fighting style. What mattered more was settling this quickly and without too much fuss.

She started walking in the kid's direction, entering the training field. It was huge indeed, or at least much longer than the indoors one she went to previously. It as about 10 meters from one side to the other and 50 meters deep. There was a tree on the opposite end of the field and the boy was standing next to it. Other than a few odd logs, the field was just mostly grass. As they were located in Marineford though, past the edges of the field were buildings surrounding it on 3 sides. Ritsu would enter from the only open side, coming from the main pathway. Unless she was attacked while she was on her way, she would keep walking until she was within 20 meters of the boy, the entire time alert and prepared in case he tried anything before she stopped. She was wearing the Rear Admiral cloak and her position should have been easy enough to identify to anyone who looked at her if they knew anything about Marine ranks. Though she was obviously there to do something about him, she would maintain an expression on her face as though her only intention was coming over to have a word with him. She wasn't assuming any fighting stance and only appeared to be walking at a casual pace.

Whether the boy tried moving closer to her or not, as soon as she crossed the 20 meter mark from him, an unusual phenomenon would occur in the wind around the field as she stopped walking. It would thin out until there was nothing at all but a vacuum with no air to breathe. It was almost impossible to notice this happening and the next time the boy would take a breath while within this area, he would be surprised there was nothing to breathe in at all and begin suffocating unless he had some way of getting air in that condition. Should Ritsu be successful in executing this, she would maintain the vacuum field until the boy passed out from lack of air. The area of effect was 30 meters long and 10 meters wide, just barely encompassing the width of the field. She figured this was the fastest and most peaceful way to settle this. If she had to use her fists, things would get a little too messy.

She would have spoken that he was under arrest and she was taking him in for assaulting two Marines, but without any air, he wouldn't have heard anything while in the vacuum anyway. He would have to hear the charges after he woke up. Thanks to her abilities, Ritsu was still able to breathe normally in this situation.

Bando tensed in anticipation as a rear admiral approached, garbed in the standard uniform. Finally, he had the attention of someone with proper status, but he didn't think for even a second that she was coming to him with anything resembling non-hostile intentions, and thus, he kept his guard up, ready for any possible attacks that the female may have thrown at him. Still, he wasn't all too worried, despite her rank. While she carried the title of an admiral, she was only a rear one, plus the fact that she was a girl all helped Bando to decide that with a small amount of effort, he could deal with anything she threw at him, as long as he played it safe. He wouldn't even make the first move, either, letting some of his arrogance cloud his better judgement. It was that damn testosterone flowing through him in excess due to puberty! He just couldn't take most females seriously.

But, all of that lollygagging about and arrogant thinking flew immediately out the window when, once the Rear Admiral reached twenty meters from Bando's location, he felt something literally SUCK the air out of him. At this point, he was literally being suffocated, most likely to death, and nothing he could do about it except escape..but first, Bando would have to knock her out first. It was entirely reasonable to postulate that knocking her out would cease the effects of whatever ability she'd just performed, so he'd then be able to carry her away to a place where'd they be able to talk privately. In all honesty, Bando wasn't gonna be trying to kill her, but with the air suffocating him, he wasn't left with much choice but to use the strongest attack he could and try to scale it down to reasonable levels so she wasn't left as a mere bloody stain on the grass.

Thus, as soon as he felt the suffocating pressure of being deprived from oxygen, his tactical mind immediately came up with a plan as he swung his right arm with all the force he could muster, generating a wind of his own made from the momentum of how hard he swung this arm. This wind in particular came in the form of a sphere, moving at speeds that even Bando's eyes had trouble perceiving, charging directly at the Rear Admiral. The attack itself was so massive that aim was nothing more than an afterthought, having a diameter of thirteen meters, the technique usually having the capabilities to outright kill someone by shattering every single bone that they have. But, as his aim was to capture the Rear Admiral, it would be scaled to merely inflicting enough damage to knock her out cold.

It was his second most powerful attack in his arsenal, the Ultra Bullet Blast. While normally it possessed pitiful range, due to how much of an expert Bando was at marksmanship, he'd easily manage to extend the range of his projectiles, allowing him to hit the Rear Admiral even from ranges like these. He had to admit, she was a serious threat, but hopefully with the blistering speed of his projectiles, it would be enough to knock her out cold. Taking things too slowly in a hostile territory like this was dangerous, especially when you considered that the marines on this island mostly consisted of the army's experienced members. If he didn't end the fight now, an Admiral could arrive, and in the worst case scenario, a Fleet Admiral with a gaggle of troops.

But, no matter what, Bando would try his hardest to never let it get to that. He had a book he needed to sell, for gods sake! The blonde writer couldn't do that if his mind was essentially rotting in the confines of a maximum security prison. While Bando had no faith in a higher power, even he had to admit that something in the universe was going on if he managed to defeat a girl with abilities as potent as hers.

The boy would try to retaliate at her once he started suffocating from the lack of air, but at this point it was already far too late. He attempted to swing his arm without moving from his position. Likely this was meant to be the catalyst of a wind projectile attack transferring the force behind his swing over a range but the timing he chose to execute this was not the best. The wind and air in the area surrounding him was already gone and so there was nothing to use for his attack. He literally took a swing at nothing.

All these thoughts came to Ritsu after he had already tried to perform his attack. The swing was too fast for her to clearly see and she only realized it when the position of his arms and posture changed. This would instinctively cause her to anticipate letting an attack pass through her body even though none actually came. All it took was a thought after all and there was a good 20 meters between them even if she couldn't actually see it.

In any case, as she had avoided any possible harm, Ritsu would continue to maintain the effects of the vacuum. At this point the kid would have passed out from using up the oxygen in his blood as he chose not to take the chance to escape from the field. In fact trying to attack while in that state only hastened his oxygen consumption and he would logically be out like a light after attempting that swing. Being an expert at her use of this ability, the Rear Admiral would know exactly how long it took to make a person pass out without killing him and she would not approach or end her technique until she was absolutely certain.

For some reason, by the miracle of the devil's fiending eye, its dark magic working its way into the confines of reality, Bando's attack didn't work at all, his arm uselessly flailing, producing nothing. Truly, this attack he was in had already sucked out all the air he could get in the area, but for how long? Considering that people could still be lurking around the area, the attack's range couldn't be that far, or else she could risk killing civilians which wouldn't look too good in public, even for a marine who was corrupt. After all, oxygen deprivation was a pretty obvious type of death to diagnose, and Bando obviously didn't have any skills that would let him do something similar to that. As his mom always told him, zero shame was involved when it came to using the family's ultimate technique, the G.T.F.O. As soon as Bando saw his attack not working(which was pretty much as soon as the arm motion required for the technique didn't produce his signature air blast), he would activate this ultimate technique and...RETREAT. Fighting opponents who could pull air vacuums out of their ass wasn't much of a good option when he didn't have an oxygen mask available with him, but then again, Bando would have never really guessed that he'd need such a niche piece of equipment in order to not be at such a disadvantage in a fight.

You know, Bando realized he should have attacked while she was walking towards him, but he wanted to be an anime hero. That would prove him wrong! With the only thing left to do was escape before he suffocated and took a massive L, Bando made a beeline to the building that was south of him(the door just three feet from his current location) and punched it open quite easily with the amount of strength he had while still running. Luck was smiling on him, even temporarily, as this place was filled with about five weak marines who were obviously confused on what was going on. They didn't have any weapons either, with the weapons in the base being in an entirely different location than the one Bando currently was in. With a quick glare in the middle of his run, the weak willed marines cowered in fear, bundled up together. Truly, they were a disgrace to the whole army.

The building itself was twenty meters by twenty meters in size, all the while his ears perked to take note of any attacks that might have happened while he was running to a metaphorical freedom, the delicious taste of oxygen running through his systems and allowing him to escape the dastardly dangers of suffocating to death like a cuck while stopping to look back at his previous location to have a gauge on his opponent's location, but only in the event he didn't hear anything that might have put him in danger, to which he'd react accordingly.

Of course, the marines around him now were looking at the yellow haired brat as if he were some type of weirdo even while they cowered in fear, completely unaware to the fact that just a few meters away was a suffocating vacuum of death that he'd just narrowly escape from. Once he was twelve meters away from his previous position, Bando stopped to face the direction he'd just come from. Still, like always, Bando kept his guard up, using every sense he could to detect any trickery Ritz might have employed.

Alright, I mean, I could surrender, but I wouldn't look very good losing to a girl..I mean, they're practically subhuman. I want to do this my way..I'm in a group of five marines and it appears her attacks cover a wide area. I'm hoping she's the type of marine that doesn't involve other marines in her line of fire, or otherwise this battle might be too much for me..I think. I'm on the defense right now, dammit..why do my stronger moves all require air? This is practically the 1-9 matchup for me..

And thus, Bando using the group of marines as a "shield", he hoped that this would dissuade Ritz enough from using her wind attacks, as it was in close quarters combat where Bando truly dominated the competition. Staying close to them was hopefully gonna be his key to success here, Bando ready to retaliate at the first sign of trouble. At the moment, he was kicking himself mentally for not attack when she was wide open, but...he couldn't necessarily alter the past, right? So no point kicking himself in the butt over it!

Ritsu was expecting that the kid would crumble to the suffocation but some way somehow he managed to find the strength to fall back. He was pretty fast and ran into the base behind him, punching through the door in the process. Basically her idea of settling things quickly was probably not going to happen. His exact strength was unknown as in the short time since she attempted to subdue him, he wasn't able to launch a successful counterattack. It made her wonder what his end goal was in the first place for attacking the ensigns from earlier. That building though should be housing quite a number of Marines and would not exactly be the best place to escape to. Since he didn't really impress much, she judged that she didn't have to deal with him personally.

She ended her technique and walked over to the building, taking this time to rest up while she figured out her next move. There were no windows on that side of the building hence why the Marines inside didn't know about the commotion in the training ground. The door that the kid busted open was standard one for one person and it was easy to just walk from the side so that anyone looking outside through door wouldn't know her exact position while they remained inside.

Instead of proceeding to the building where the boy ran to for refuge, Ritsu went inside the building to the right, unknown to him. She then went to the nearest Den Den Mushi and called the building to the south where the kid was hiding and informed the officer there about the intruder. He was blonde and wore an orange jumpsuit. It wasn't too hard to identify him. The officer on the other line did confirm they heard some noises downstairs and thanked the Rear Admiral for the tip. The entire thing took only a couple of minutes at most. And then within the next minute after, a dozen or so Marines armed with pistols and rifles enter the room where the boy was and pointed their guns at him. They were about 6 meters away from the kid, entering the room from his left. The five Marines who were already in the room with him got their courage back after seeing the cavalry arrive. They ran to the door leading back out to the training ground from earlier attempting to block it and prevent the kid from escaping that way. One of the Marines pointing their gun at the kid spoke.

"You are under arrest for the assault of Marines! Put your hands up and surrender or we will be forced to shoot!"

Ritsu warned them that the kid was dangerous and they would not hesitate to open fire the moment he tried anything suspicious.

While all this was happening, Ritsu would make another call to headquarters to put a bounty notice on the kid in the event that he escaped this encounter. She didn't know his name yet, but if he entered Marineford through legitimate means, then there would be a record with his picture and other details. Finding out who he was wouldn't be too hard since his looks stood out so much. This would take another couple of minutes. After this, she would head back out to the training field and await the officers from the south building to escort the kid outside. She had instructed them to take the boy out to field once they had successfully restrained him. She was again not in the direct line of sight of anyone looking outside from within the south building. Her exact position was about 15 meters from the wall of the south building and 2 meters from the wall of the building to the right. Of course she also had no way of seeing what exactly was going on inside the building. But she would listen carefully for anything suspicious like gunfire or other unnatural noises to alert her something was up.

Bando waited in the room, his body tense. Even though it'd be a minute until the armed marines came inside of the room, in a hostile situation like this, it felt like light years. Either she'd given up pursuit, which was unlikely when Bando showcased such a poor display of his abilities(to which he'd vow to start taking the fight more serious), or Ritz was calling in more reinforcements, which could prove..troublesome to say the least. While Bando wasn't winded in the slightest, a prolonged battle like this would call for the usage of his weaker skills if he hoped to manage his stamina properly and not keel over due to exhaustion. For now, however, it was a far off concern. His body still on guard, his senses were looking out for anything that would have caught his suspicion.

And, with the amount of footsteps that could be heard by the hoard of marines coming his ways, his ears would easily detect them, and given his superior speed, he'd already turn to the source of the where the noise was coming from, quite unwilling to be taken by surprise. And as he learned from letting Ritz get close to him, perhaps allowing them to come near him wasn't much of a good idea, especially when his eyes caught a clusterfuck of marines carrying guns. Before they could utter a word, or even do a single action, with the use of his far superior speed, Bando swung his right arm, the force generated from the arm swing formed a sphere of air five meters in diameter, moving at speeds that the grunts couldn't even perceive. Given the grunts were in such a close, tightknit group, the area the projectile covered was more than enough to five of the men in front with enough force to send them flying backwards, hitting the other marines hard enough to knock them out. With the projectile covering such a large area, it would be easy to hit all the marines. The air projectile even carried enough force to completely shatter the trash material the rifles and the marines used, leaving them in a sweaty pile of muscular men and some odd bulges. Truly, this could be a scene out of his book.

They think- well, I am a criminal, but they believe I only have bad intentions. No reason for me to kill them if they're doing the right thing..

Immediately after dealing with the armed marines, he turned his line of sight back to the entrance from which he came from, the five marines which had previously blocked the entrance ran out of the building in terror, screaming like little girls. As they were completely weaponless, and just watched Bando knock out a group of armed men with ease, they knew that they couldn't do much. It was a win win for both parties; they didn't get sent to the hospital, and Bando didn't have to bother exerting any energy knocking them out, allowing him to save the rest of it to deal with Ritz. As his eyes looked out the entrance he'd just came from, once again, Bando was on guard for anything that might pose a threat. Just what was the extent of the Rear Admiral's powers, anyways?

Guess the only way I can keep her interest is kicking things into second gear..I'm kind of jealous. She really thought a bunch of mooks was enough to take me down? She's vastly underestimating my prowess.

It seemed he had no intention of giving up peacefully. Ritsu heard a loud crash from inside the building where the kid was and it was not the sound of gunfire. It was something bigger and more destructive. The reason she could say this was because the entire building shook from the impact of whatever that was. Back inside, the boy apparently underestimated the extent of his own abilities. The 5 diameter sphere not only destroyed the wall surrounding the door from where the Marines entered but also a supporting pillar attached to the wall and part of the ceiling since the first floor was at most 3 meters high. The base was only made of stone and wooden frames and so the parts of it that got caught in the area of effect of his attacked were easily destroyed, causing large stone and wood parts of the second floor several meters in length to cave in on the people below, including the kid unless he got out of there fast.

Back outside, as soon as Ritsu saw and felt the building shake, she would ready herself to act, moving within 10 meters of the doorway while still staying out of sight of those inside. As she did so, the 5 unarmed Marines escaping from within would pass her, screaming for help. The kid would undoubtedly try to get out the same way if he didn't want to get caught in the cave in, unless he had some other escape route planned. In any case, she had her finger pointed at the entrance and would fire an Air Bullet at the first sight of orange jumpsuit or blonde hair that would attempt to get out that way. She was still out of view and would not be spotted unless he stood right outside the doorway and had a good look around. The parts of the building collapsing would also mask any way of hearing her footsteps or approach. It was an almost flawless ambush unless he could somehow see through walls.

She had seen a bit of the kid's speed the first time he ran from her so there was no guarantee she could accurately hit the exact spot she wanted if he runs outside. So rather than take chances on a limb, she would aim dead center of his body so that even if he was a moving target, she'd still pierce him somewhere in the torso region. This would hopefully slow him down. As she waited, she would make a mental note of adding destruction of Marine property to the boy's growing list of offenses.
