[Flashback thread with Anubis White]


It was another calm, yet cold day in Minion. Gerard sat in his office, spruced up a little since he began his work as leader of Minion, looking over the island's finances. The ffice wasn't anything too fancy, but it at least looked professional, situated in to the story building of the town hall. Now that he ad satisfied his search for Haki for now, he was able to get back to work, building up the island.

"Hmm, reconstruction of the old town's going smoothly," he murmured to himself. Hopefully once the old ghost town was rebuilt, he could attract more people to the island. Maybe even make it Minion's capital. It was in the middle of the island afterall. He would move is office there, get it just the way he liked it.

All of  sudden he heard  ruckus outside. He could hear a man shouting in a panic, and Alisa trying to calm him. After  minute, Alisa stepped into the office. "This gentleman has something to tell you."

A bedraggled man stood in, trying to keep calm but clearly scared about something. "Mr Sinnet! A-A ship's been spotted heading towards the island." Gerard cocked an eyebrow. "What kind of ship? Pirate? Marine? What?" The man shook his head. "I-I don't know. But by the looks of it, I doubt it's someone small.

Gerard and Alisa glanced at eachother. Who could be getting the man so rilled up?

It wouldn't be long before their questions were answered. The ship was a submarine of some sort, carrying a Vice Admiral for the marines. A vice admiral that was calling him out and threatening the island if he didn't come to them. Honestly, the whole thing was rather annoying. What was with all the hostility?

A short time later, after Briggets had made the announcement, the crowd would part as Gerard would arrive on the scene, being flanked by Alisa. The sharply dressed man was keeping himself calm and collected, as he approached the Vice Admiral.

The pair of them stopped a little distance from the marine, but not far away enough that hey couldn't talk. "You know if you wanted to talk, you could have called ahead. I could have put on a pot of coffee or something." he said in a casual, almost joking tone. He had fought a commodore, but not a Vice Admiral. No sense in starting something if it didn't have to happen.

Meanwhile, Alisa had activated her own Observation Haki, keeping an eye out for any potential threats.

Gerard let out a small sigh at the Vice Admiral's words. So, he was here on someone else's orders huh? Why didn't they come out here themselves? "Again, he could have just called. No sense in scaring the townsfolk like that." he muttered before shrugging. "Well, whatever. We're here now, no sense in splitting hairs. Lead the way Vice Admiral."

As he and Alisa followed the Vice Admiral, the long legged woman kept her eyes on the submarine itself. She could sense many people aboard the sub, as is expected for a sub this large. She wasn't too concerned, as Gerard's logia powers in such a confined space would be highly effective.

What worried her was that there were two individuals aboard that seemed as strong as the Vice Admiral. If this turned out to be a trap, or things went sour, they would be the biggest threats.

Gerard gave an annoyed grunt as the man gripped his shoulder, almost uncomfortably so. At least Arisa had the benefit of an arm around the waist, due to her height. The perks of being a long legged. He noticed the black coating covering the marine's hand.

Haki. Great.

And like that, they were off, shooting through the air towards the sub. Alisa held onto the marine for safety, while Gerard was perfectly fine, if not a little uncomfortable with the situation. If the marine dropped him, his Devil Fruit abilities allowed him to fly if needed. So he allowed himself to be carried over to the sub.

Once they landed, he couldn't help but feel annoyed as the marine released Alisa, but still held onto him. Seriously, he was doing what the guy asked, wasn't he? Geez, this guy and his employer weren't exactly ideal with making friends, were they? "Yes yes, we know all that. Let's just meet your boss, shall we?"

{So I'm gonna go without the code from this point forward too much work lol. But everything I said I have from the start I still have at less state other wise.}

It didn't take long for the Vice Admiral, and the duo to arrive to the Submarine safely without a hitch. Landing on the top of the submarine with a thud the Vice Admiral was sure to keep a firm hand on the Gerard as he said," Straight ahead he said to the girl." He had guess she was a escort or some kind though that didn't make any difference . As long as she didn't cause any trouble everything should go smooth.

The hatch to go inside the submarine was noticeable so the they Gerard companion should be able to located it , and open it with little hassle. One the hatch was open the Vice Admiral was sure to signal her to go down first then him, and Gerard would follow behind him with a tight grip on his right shoulder his buso haki still active. Once down there 2 Ciphol Pols agents would lead them to captain quarters where Anubis ,and Meji would be waiting inside for them with 4 other people inside with them.


As for Meji, and Anubis once the guess was within the submarine the submarine would begin to descend into the water about 40 meters deep which was fairly good enough. Due to being this close to the docks the shore was only 50 meters deep at best. But that was okay they would only drop at 40 meters, and remain at that position until Meji controlled the submarine to do another movement.

It didn't take Anubis, and Meji to arrive at the captain quarters they would beat the Vice Admiral, and the guess there by a few minutes. Once they had arrive Anubis would say,"Welcome to the ARS-1! My pride, and one of my many jewels I have collected. I am sorry for how you have been treat but it is for reason I promise you. Now tell me about this island, how you came to do it, and all that good stuff if you lie I would know so don't lie."

With that Anubis had point at Gerard, and his friend to take a seat of course the Vice Admiral would maintain his grip whether Gerard want to seat or not. As for the room it was very top of the line luxury quarters even for Anubis. Within the room was fully furnish captain quarters with the Celestial Dragon sitting behind the next, and Meji standing to his left about 3 meter there was several chairs about 5 meters from Anubis desk.

Alisa didn't need any help finding the hatched climbed down without any issues, followed by Gerard and then the Vice Admiral. Neither of them really reacted to the Cipher Pol agents, mainly because they didn't know who Cipher Pol was, and thus assumed they were regular guards.

When they arrived at the captain's quarters, Gerard could appreciate the fine decor of the place. Whoever owned the sub had some fine taste. He was a little surprised, though he didn't show it, that the one in charge was a Mink. Nothing predjudiced mind you. Just unexpected.

He moved to take a seat, the big man's hand still on him, much to his annoyance, while Alisa took her place behind him, next to the large vice admiral. The mink seemed curious about Minion Island, and Gerard's acquisition of it. "Well, I pretty much one this island be beating a pirate, a revolutionary, and a marine in combat. The latter of whom is still alive mind you." he glanced at the Vice Admiral, not wanting to give him the wrong. "Basically proved to the people I was more than qualified to run the place and have been doing so ever since. Already improved the housing around here, and in the process of rebuilding an abandoned town." He didn't want to bore him with the details unless he asked for them. Though he was still curious why he was here and what he wanted. And who was this guy anyway?

Anubis had lean back in his chair as he waited for the man to answer after he had replied Anubis had ponder the words of the man then said,"You sir have a busy bee Gerard. That is good
I am sure you are aware of marine rank structure that man behind you is Vice Admiral Briggets ,and only a few people have a rank such of his status. So I will let you wonder about what rank I am ,
and what I am capable of I can insure it I can do much. Now what I want from you is very simple 20 million beli up front from you, this become a marine control island well ally, and half of your island wages beli wise, and the support of your island resources when I call upon you whenever that may be. In return your poeple have my protection, and you can use my name which carried great weigh. I may even pardon a few of your friends . I am sure you understand the World government is in a tough position we need more supporter so join my cause to make this world a better place. So what do you say?"

Meji haki was still active so what the Vice Admiral just behind the Vice admiral was Minion ally , and just behind her was 2 other Cipher pol agents who just enter the room. They each wore black suit, and look very serious, and was equipment with proper flintlock.
