After several hours of intense physical exercise, Hoshikita had finally reached the point where he felt he could move his arms no longer. He had long surpassed the burn of regular exercise into the territory of searing pain, and every iota of his being was screaming for him to stop. The young lieutenant finally relented to the shouting of his insides, and allowed his arms to fall limp at his sides as he attempted to catch his breath. While it hadn't been quite as physically painful as getting tossed around by Mr. Miyagi, this workout had certainly been both more mentally and physically exhausting than the previous bout. Even hunger was no longer a thought in Hoshikita's mind, and though he had not eaten since early this morning the only thing he could think of was the warm embrace of sleep. His eyelids fluttered softly as he tentatively pushed himself up off of the chair and onto his feet.
Now standing, but still a bit off balance, Hoshikita wandered off towards the exit of the dojo. He hadn't seen Mr. Miyagi up until this point, and in his current state, the young lieutenant likely wouldn't be able to pay him any mind unless the old man stood in his way directly. Hoshikita shuffled his feet forward, his eyelids hanging heavy and his arms dangling loosely at his sides. He wasn't sure exactly where he was going to sleep tonight and his exhausted mental faculties were unable to produce much forethought, so it was rather likely he'd end up passed out on the street unless he was able to luckily wander into some place of lodging. Regardless though, he would sleep soundly after the intensive workout he had done. Tomorrow, he might try his hand at landing a blow on the old kung fu master before he started rowing his way back to Base Seventeen.
