With the sword and chain turned over to the man, it seemed he was ready to depart. He paid Linedwell the beli that had been promised and then departed almost as quickly as he'd arrived. It was then that Linedwell realzed he never got the man's name, but he soon shrugged and went about his business further upgrading his blade known as O-Ren Ishii.
Linedwell found himself proud of the work he'd been able to do, working on a sword of a make he'd never worked on before. The fact he'd been able to reforge something of that caliber was simply proof that his skills as a blacksmith were beginning to improve. He wondered exactly how far he'd be able to take these skills - and how long it would actually take him to accomplish it. With a sigh, Linedwell realized just how ahead of himself he was getting. His focus at the moment needed to be his work, and if he simply worried about things as they came, he'd find that he would accomplish his goals sooner than he thought. With this thought motivating him, Linedwell continued his work on the upgrade of his blade. Once he finished upgrading the blade, Linedwell decided that he'd find Nicolette and her crew and and sell the blade to them for as high an amount as he could. To him, the selling of O-Ren Ishii meant more than any amount of beli, but it also meant symbolic severance from the Marines - as it had been the blade gifted to him upon signing up with them. With the blade finally out of his life, it was also a symbol of leaving that life behind him forever.
With these thoughts in mind, Linedwell continued long into the night, finishing his upgraded on O-Ren Ishii and even creating one other blade before finally closing up the shop and making his way to Nicolette's crew, hoping they'd be able to pay just about as much as they'd done the day before.
