This battle feels like it has been going on for ages with no sign of stopping. The fodder of pirates kept coming, and coming believing that they could do something to the two pirates who stayed back. Well, they managed to drive Law down the road of pure annoyance if that's something. Marcel quickly impaled an oncoming pirate through the throat, causing him to gag, and spit out blood before falling to the floor.

Another pirate attempted to sneak him from behind, but was quickly taken care of by a quick whack from the back of the katana. Three more pirates with flintlocks approached Law, and were ready to shoot, but the samurai quickly reacted by grabbing another pirate by the back of their shirt, placing him in front of him as a human shield right at the moment the three began to shoot, killing their comrade instead. Marcel then threw the body to the side, and dashed towards the three surprised pirates, slitting one of their throats, impaling the other through the chest, and decapitating the third one.

Blood was now not only on the samurai's katana, but also his face, and clothes. Letting out a small sigh, Marcel slashed down another approaching pirate before looking over in Blake's direction just in time to see her do her little "magic trick" again. A smirk grew on his face as he wondered how she was able to do such a thing before being interrupted by two more pirates trying to cut him down, one at each side of his shoulder. He simply closed his eyes, and stepped back a little, causing them to collide, and stab each other instead.

"Pitiful..."

Between everyone's efforts, it seemed Blake had made it through the slowly dwindling mass of pirates in an attempt to lay the stabs on their leader. Cause as everyone knows, if you cut off a snake's head it immediately dies. Meanwhile, the brawling converged onto Marcel and Iris, who played the role of occupying as many of the men as possible. While the swordman's way of doing it seemed more of a dealing with individuals quickly kind of thing, the cyborg girl mowed through groups with far less finesse.
Open-palmed swings batted men away, heavy fists shattering bones. Armed with mostly swords and clubs, Iris had considerably few problems keeping her head above water, straight up grabbing swings at her out of the air, leaving the sailor at the other end of the weapon danging from it or turning the arms and bodies into a bloody mess of cuts by wrapping and slicing with her tail.

The worst that happened was one of the men jumping her back despite being awfully stabbed. While for every regular person, this could have meant to be pinned to the ground, she could easily prop her weight up on nothing but her hands, making the man a minor inconvenience at best. Regardless, she ensnared his neck with as much as a thought and cut it. Immediately the strangling attempts faded as her backpack lost all tension, then slipped off.

Ultimately, the group was slowly thinning. Compared to before, Iris had to watch herself by 360 degrees far less. As the overwhelming numbers shrank, so did the pirates' ability to get around to her back, distracting her attention from hammering the living daylight out of the men in front. She even had the split of a second to muse about how much work it would be later to clean out all the nasty little bits and the blood from practically every joint.

Snapping out of his initial shock the short man quickly pulled his weapons, two axes with blades almost as big as the man's own head. It made Blake smile a little to see that he would not go down without a fight. “I took you for the kind of captain that only gives orders.” “A captain needs both strength and the ability to lead others.” At that mention Blake turned around and took a peek at brawl behind her, noting: “Your strategy of quantity over quality does not strike me as great leadership” and then shrugged. “I will make sure to whip the remaining ones back into shape, a little girl such as yourself won't be able to defeat me!”

With all the banter out of the way the man finally moved his short legs to run towards Blake, who did him the courtesy to do the same. Both ready to meet each other half way, their weapons ready to clash, but as the man swung his first axe Blake already had shifted her weight to sidestep the attack and effortlessly stepped past him. Blakes range was slightly longer, giving her a slight advantage. To her surprise the man was equally fast, if she had not sensed his movement ahead of time the axe would most likely have split her head, but instead it made for the perfect situation to free him of his left arm as her dagger cut into at great speed, which sent it flying together with his weapon.

“What the...!!” In pain he stumbled, holding the stump, where his arm was before. The wound looked painful, much more like the arm was ripped of him, instead of a clean cut. Just the view of it made Blake chuckle. “Damn that looks painful, you also lack in the strength department.” Being a sadist she used the chance to give the little man a kick in the side, after making sure to kick his axes away from him. “Such a sad display, you have hundred men, yet no one can save you.”

Her view shifted to the battle for a moment, then she kicked him again, throwing him on his back so he could better see the girls smile as she leaned down. The pain of losing his arm kept him so occupied that he could hardly speak, “You bitch!” was all he barely got out. Meanwhile Blake took joy in slowly rubbing the tip of her boot against the man's open wound. It was enough to make her droll a little.

Things were pretty much getting wrapped up over hear with Law, and Iris. The amount of pirates around them decreased drastically, causing the samurai to sigh in relief. Being surrounded by that many people just made him uncomfortable. Some of the remaining pirates continued to fight on until their last breathes while some of the others attempted to flee like the cowards they are. The very presence of these tools were enough to annoy Law, but the sight of cowards abandoning their comrades really got under his skin.

Marcel slowly sheathed his katana, setting his sights on the fleeing foes. He kept a firm grip on the hilt of the katana for a few seconds, just watching those pirates, letting them have their false sense of security, and escape for a little. Without warning, Law quickly unsheathed his katana in a horizontal fashion, letting out a horizontal burst of air that managed to cut through the distance between the samurai, and the pirates, cutting each of them in half around their waists as well. The group of pirates who were just cut would stop running all of a sudden, standing still for a few seconds. Then, all of their upper bodies slid off simultaneously falling to the ground with their lower bodies following shortly after.

Law simply looked at the sight before looking over to Blake who had just cut off the captain's arm. He shook his head at the girl, wondering why she didn't just finish the poor fool off. His eyes then shifted to Iris who seemed to have the remaining pirates under control before walking over to the green haired sadist, and her victim, pulling a cloth out to clean his bloody blade in the process.

"You seem to get a kick out of torturing dwarves, hmm?" Law asked in a bit of a witty tone as he watched her...kick him. "But I suggest we wrap this up quickly..." Law added as his eyes fixed on the maimed captain.

Bashing the skulls of two men in with each other, Iris seemed to have cleaned house in her vicinity, bar the few men who were running with reckless abandon and obviously no intention to get themselves killed right there and then. At worst, the villagers would probably be able to deal with them, greatly outnumbering. Dropping the lifeless bodies from both hands, she looked around consciously for the first time in recent moments. The sand was clumping with blood, bodies and parts of bodies being pretty much everywhere within a fair radius. Noticing Blake standing over a downed man and Law nearby, she decided to group up and see what this situation had come to.

Afer passing over the small field of bodies while catching breath, the girl arrived. The short man who was probably the captain of the sailors did not look so good. Writhing on the beach, profusely bleeding from what used to be an arm while being kicked and poked by Blake's boot. For iris, this seemed a waste of time, either kill him and end the whole chapter or don't if there is any use to him. „That the guy?“ she asked, no one in particular, doing a nodding motion in his general direction instead of pointing a finger. „What's your plan for his future?“ This was more specifically for Blake, though also a fairly rhetoric question, as she was likely to kill him eventually for sport. Meanwhile, the guy in question, beyond his searing pain of being partially dismembered and tortured, didn't seem too happy being casually talked about like trash. Not that it mattered. And more importantly, once this interruption was dealt with, they could return to the interesting news Blake had told of before they got distracted by this commotion.

Blake laughed a little bit in response to the questions of what seemed to be her team mates. She indeed enjoyed stretching out the man's pain for a while, abusing his helplessness and letting him suffer. “Well, fine.” Just as the people they had saved also arrived Blake casually leaned down and quickly rammed her tanto through the man's neck. “With this the boss of the pirates is dead and your town and people should be save”, she said smiling while whipping the blood on her weapons of against the dead man's back, then looked across the people.

They were lucky, most of them had survived the ordeal with just a few small cuts and bruises. It made Blake wonder why only the group surrounding the boss had any good fire arms or was able to use them. Maybe it was because the man wanted no one to be a danger to him and his goons. “Weak.” She looked at Iris and Law, wondering if those two were something like a crew for her, if anything Blake was a pirate too. “Lucky I am stronger than you two”, she said grinning and patted both on the back.

Meanwhile the saved people had surrounded the tree saviors and greeted them with a smile. Some bowed, others shook hands. Blake felt rather good being the hero for the people of an island she liked so much. She was still a really mean sadistic person, but doing good was nice too. Her gaze shifted to Law and she was rather happy for once that they took him with them. Even when he seemed somewhat annoying when they first met, he sure was someone that rather acted than just watched and maybe that was what pushed Blake and Iris into action in the first place.

If anything the people he saved were lucky that Law was part of the little group of three, because certainly Blake would not have stepped right into the battle like he did. In the middle of loud cheers and congratulations she had to admit that the samurai was really not that bad.
