Aboard The Coat SS Atlantis
[All current contestants from previous threads]

After travelling for four days at sea, the coated vessel, submerged below water, navigated by Porter's secretary followed the Eternal Poses magnetic pull, which guided the SS Atlantis towards the former submerged Kingdom. As the snail transponder rattled off, Porter answered with a funny swarm of what couldn't be only described as butterfly but full grown bats, flapping around in his stomach. The news had been received, Atlantis was under siege. Atlantis once used to be a proud Kingdom, known for it's fighters and most specifically, it's state of the art mechanised defence system. However, due it's former ruler, Nenrei's terribly leadership capabilities and political absence, the city had fallen to Hades. Summoning the applicants to the deck of the ship, Porter hurried from his chambers to inform the rallied troops of the current situation. Mr.Longlegs, prepping his back against the mast of the ship, reached into his finely tailored suits jacket, pulled out a canister of whiskey and sipped gingerly. "Atlantis is literally divided into two parties currently. Ambassador's chosen by the former leader and absentee, Nenrei and those chosen by our beneficiary, the acting Mayor of Atlantis, Lidus. The situation is much worse than I expected, Oceanus men have already began their attack on the cities walls. Oceanus has taken the most radical route possible, he's trying to sink Atlantis below the tides once more." Porter declared, sipping the whiskey once again to relieve the severity of this situations qualms. "Weren't the gears broken centuries ago when we fled!?" Mimi exclaimed. "It seems his spies have begun repairs on each of the engine rooms. We'll be arriving at Atlantis within moments, so we must act fast!" Porter declared.

Whistling to his grunts, the operators on the ship brought a table from the nearby cavern, along with several crates from below the deck. Breaking the crates open, they were several remote control looking devices with a single red button at it's core, shielded by an easily breakable glass. "Right now. Everything is a mess. With our defence systems deactivated, we can't even fight off his swarms with cannon fire. Our men are certainly outnumbered as well." Porter continued to explain. Spreading the map of Atlantis onto the table, the Kingdom had four major citadel like buildings, where the core submerging engines laid. Pointing at each building, Porter explained that they must break all engines to negate the submerging process. Atlantis was directly above Fishman Island, if it was submerge again, the two islands would eventually collided causing immense tremors. "It was a ploy... If situations like this were to ever happen... Atlantis is actually a huge ship. First of it's kind. Even if we fail to the destroy the engines, we must move it away from Fishman Island, at least before 2,000 ft. Time is with and against us. We have two options, break the engines or change Atlantis course." Porter concluded. "And we must restore our weapons system. The switch is in the Queen's Former Chamber Room... but with their intelligence, someone is probably guarding it from intruders. Once restored however, our canons can blow away any persons that come with meters of Atlantis. It'd just be the forces that penetrated inward we'd have to worry about." Mimi interjected.

A silence befell the strategy meeting, every party took time to access the dangerous nature of this mission. "Now. In these crates are miniature coating bubbles. If you happen to be caught outdoors and Atlantis submerges, press the button and it'll coat your whole body in a coating bubble. However, it'll only last momentarily. Atlantis buildings are built in a way to stop water from leaking into the structures so making it inside is vital no matter what you do. Everything is connected by a corridor and a street-way. You decide amongst yourselves, I'll be heading to the throne room along with my aid Mimi. I need to find the other delegates and at least restore order. Whoever comes with me will be responsible of delaying the forces until I can make into the Queen's War Chamber. The remainder of you, it's simple. You have 24 Hours (Seven Posts) to stop Atlantis from submerging. If you fail, then your back up mission will be to dock into one of Atlantis major cities at either navigational point (North,East,West,South) and make your way to the citadels in each area. Again. Once you make it inside, everything will be covered by our bubble coating technology, that can't be overridden. However, if you stay outside too long, the quick bubble coat can only last a few hours (3 Posts) at most." Porter commented. "Oh! The bubbles are pretty sturdy, it'd take a strong blow to break them(Tier 3 Strength)." Porter concluded. Porter waited for everyone present to take a coating machine from the crate, "Now. Who will accompany me? It seems we've arrived at our destination." Porter grinned, tossing the empty canister onto the ground.

The SS Atlantis was docked into a hidden port beneath the actual structure of Atlantis, it was a private port for VIP's but it was swarming with Oceanus Men, waiting for the ship to dock. In the Queen's Room, Luso guarded the control systems for the weapons. Currently in the Northern Citadel, and rotating her position depending on difficulties, Ren protected the engineers that were working on repairing Atlantis submerge systems. If any sector was attacked, she'd leave Squad Commanders on site, and move to the trouble sector, however, it'd take her awhile to arrive timely (2 posts). The wheels of Fate had begun to churn, and it'd spell demise if each party didn't pull their weight. The hour glass begins.

[Event|Task|Mini-Arc] Fight for Atlantis! 414270736488726528_35s_d

The amphibian listened intently, Upon seeing the floating Isle she released a whistle of awe, the place looked beautiful, that was for sure. Now then, it would seem it came to the jobs, exactly what they had to do. "Letting Oceanus wipe out Atlantis isn't an option. I'll take the weapon systems along with this one here, " The frog said pointing to Bojack while looking to Junbei as she did.  Normally she would have awaited the captains remarks but she feared he may have wanted to also infiltrate Atlantis and meet whomever would be guarding the systems computers. This is something Hilda would not allow. "Junbei, your going to remain up front, your going to be with everyone else stopping this Atlantis from crashing into fishman island, your abilities are best suited for that. So I'll be counting on you to make sure that fucked up Pirate King wannabe doesn't win" The deep, croaking voice of the Amphibian echoed out, loud enough for all on the top deck to hear. "So anyone else coming with us" the Frog uttered, looking out to all, having extended the invitation not just to the songbirds but to the entire ship.

Though the Amphibian trusted no one bar her crew, she knew that working together with strangers would be the best bet for them to succeed and she would hope the threat of Oceanus becoming even more powerful would best the fear of anything else, including attempting to take the risk to stab the songbird pirates in the back. "Be careful though, don't trust anyone and keep your wits about you" she had told the crew often enough during their four day journey, though the songbird pirates had interacted with many of the other people on board the ship, the frog kept her distance. She mingled sure. Kept her frog form the entire time even when sleeping. She kept her eyes out for that strange man, the one whom held no haki aura, but she could not see to much, he seemed to have a small group surrounding him now, people whom he had managed to persuade that night they joined, when he had openly decided to not speak to the songbird pirates. This had put her on her guard. But nothing had happened so far. She simply hope he did not decide to volunteer for the job also.

Heading towards the crate, the frog would pick up two of the devices, challenging anyone with a glare whom would try to utter that she took two, being a devil fruit user, the sea was not something she condoned any more, she could no longer swim with the bullsharks or flee from the seakings. An Amphibian though she was, she was powerless within the ocean. Eventually they docked and Hilda rose. "Let's go porter" she said, her Ken haki shimmering to life. They had a job to do. They had to protect this man, activate the weapon system and halt any of the fishman army that got into atlantis from killing them. A sly smile slithered across her face. "Should be easy enough" The frog said winking towards her captain as they took their leave.

Current Appearance :

Laying in the beach chair on the deck of the bubble coated vessel, as the ship descended, Junbei was able to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Kingdom that was Atlantis. It's large domes which seemed to act as pillars, trailing for miles and miles, the swarm of fish that surrounded the seeming glass like structure, their scales shone brightly against the refracted light. It was a sight that made Junbei hop up from his seated position, gawking in awe. However, his joyful mood changed immediately as the sounds of enemy fire trickled within scope of his natural radar. Reaching underneath the chair, he'd wear his black and sliver army jacket, covering his Vigour Vest, which carried his tonfa. Buttoning up his coat, the Yonko received the emergency signal for everyone to report to the deck. Already being at the meeting point, along with a few other shipmates and his crew, he'd simply wait for Porter to begin his announcement. As Mimi and Porter rattled onward, he'd gained the gist of their instructions. "Alright. So pretty much... We break these gears... and activate the weapons system... to fend off Oceanus main forces." the Yonko commented. It was at this point that Hilda chimed in and she knew him all to well, though the weapons room option did sound much more intriguing, Junbei had trusted Hilda's intuition about most things. Looking up to the Frog, "Gotcha. I think I'd be able to destroy these gears faster once I don't have anything holding me back." Junbei declared shifting his Funky Jammer to rest against his back. "Octavia. You're with Hilda. Make sure she doesn't do anything too crazy. Nico, you're with me. The rest of the crew will help taking down the forces at each of these sentinel points." Junbei stated. Nudging the Frog, he'd signal to whisper something in her ears, after which, he'd pass on a Baby Den Den Mushi, strapping one on his wrist. He'd repeat the process for all of the core Songbird's present, Bojack, Daeneys, Nico and Octavia. The message he'd transfer was only for the ears of the Songbirds. Following Hilda's lead, he'd take two submerging devices from the box, while, Nico and Octavia took one each. Five Bazooka Marksmen, Twenty Rifle Owners , Ten Bow Marksmen and Five Pistol (grunts) would accompanying Hilda on her mission, while the remainder defaulted with Junbei.

He'd activate his Kenbunshoku Haki to scope out the surrounding area, as well as activate his large scale Radar to listen in to any core conversations, weary of all of those on board but his real concern was with Oceanus men, if this was a Private Docking area, how in the world would anyone be able to locate their ship's docking point, it was odd to him, once his Kenbunshoku had identified the forces dockside, he'd exclaim, "It looks like we have visitors waiting for us on the dock. Rishi Rishi." the Yonko stated. He'd wait for everyone's decision to be made before he made his advance towards docking Atlantis.

Lin quietly followed the rest of the volunteers as they were summoned to the deck. They were arriving at Atlantis soon and the latest news of the situation there was exciting to say the least. Their ship was a tad late to the party and the siege has already begun. There goes their chances of preparing for a defense. Ironically, they now had to do the attacking and infiltrating of the very city they were supposed to protect. She listened intently to the brief lecture on Atlantis' current political condition, which was fascinating, but currently only served to prove how much of a mess things were. No doubt the ambassadors weren't happy that things were divided even though they were facing a common threat. It made all the more sense that they were desperate for help from the outside.

There were two missions up for grabs to ensure the safety of the city, but for Lin there was really only one choice. The one where she could break things of course. Then again, being too destructive while in a city that could sink to the depths at any time might not be the smartest thing. She decided she would worry about that when the time came. After all, if Atlantis could break easily to her fists, then it probably wasn't that impressive to begin with. In any case, she appreciated and gobbled up all the new information that was coming in. It gave her a sense of how Oceanus's forces operated and Atlantis' capabilities. She couldn't ask for more. All that was left was to see these powers at work with her own eyes and take notes. And yes also save the city.

They were handing out devices that would help should they untimely find themselves submerged in the deep and Lin graciously helped herself to one. She wasn't sure if she would ever have to use it, but it would make for an interesting souvenir. Before long they arrived at the docks and people began declaring which teams they would follow. It seemed the Yonko's party was splitting up for this. That was a shame as she wanted to see their entire team in cooperative action. She would have to settle for the half doing the breaking. Perhaps they would be easier to work with anyway seeing as they shared similar interests.

Naturally, the plans were not going to be easy and straightforward. There was a not so friendly welcoming party waiting for them at the docks, which made Lin wonder if Oceanus' men were gluttons for punishment. Casually striding towards the group that was heading to the engines, she readied herself for battle. The time had come for this traveling martial artist to show all these big names that fame was the only thing they had over her. They would probably attack all that once. She would pay attention and make sure she didn't miss that timing.

Tenzen would listen to everything that would be said at the meeting, and wouldn't agree with their course of action. This wasn't anyone's fault really though, as this was just how Tenzen was. He was old, well had a old mind, and was stuck in his ways. There though was one thing that he didn't understand at all, and that was Oceanus' goal in all of this. Sending Atlantis crashing down into territory that he already owned was too cruel, especially for someone that was so in love with his own race.

'Who is the real enemy here?' Tenzen would think to himself as he would grip his katana a bit tighter. He was in the back of the debriefing room, far away but close enough to hear everything from those leading the meeting. This though couldn't be said about Tenzen's clone who sat where everyone could see him. And when it was time to grab the strange devices, that Tenzen didn't trust he would have the clone grab one as well. But, one thing that Tenzen and the clone wouldn't do is head out right away like everyone else. Though this was a battle against time he wasn't in any rush, nor would he be. If Atlantis ended up crashing down into Fishman Island that didn't bother him at all. Shit, what he wanted was in that very place. A treasure that he would take from Oceanus and make his own. Upon leaving the meeting he'd also activate his haki, as it was time.

"Yo, Big Bad! Why aren't we heading out like everyone else? You got cold feet?" One of those that followed the Clone would ask, showing irritation.

"Why rush into battle?" The Clone would ask.

"What? Come on guy this dude is going to fuck us over. If we don't go now we won't get any credit for doing anything!" He'd say as he would lead everyone that had gathered around the Clone, forming their own group. What would happen to them would be the same as anyone else that was reckless in this battle, death. Their talk happened about ten minutes after everyone picked their path. Groups going for the engine and another going for the Queen's Chamber.

"Now that they are gone, give me your device." Tenzen would tell the Clone as he held his free hand out. The Clone would place it in his hand and them seem to disappear. There was no more need for a clone, not right now. Tenzen would place the new device in his pocket, now having one in each. He didn't plan on using them, as he didn't want to let it get to that point. A Devil Fruit user underwater would be in the worst spot, even with a small device that'd keep them safe for just a little while.

'Four citadels need to be taken out in Twenty-four hours. Everyone going for the gears could just all head to one at a time. And I have no doubt that we could taken them all out, but doing that in time may seem difficult. Splitting up, which they probably will do, will be even more difficult. As we'd have to  hope that each group could do it on their own. Maybe the Yonko or that Frog, but that is it. Well, I am also one. Where should I go though? Where did we even come in from? North? No, we came in from the south. ' Tenzen would look up at the sky and the see the cloud, and then he'd extend his upward and pull, which would pull him high into the sky directly upward. He needed to have a bird's eye view of this place before he did anything. This though was dangerous on his part. The Enemy could have units able to fly. Acceding to the height he wanted would take some time, as he wanted to head to his max.

[Event|Task|Mini-Arc] Fight for Atlantis! Atlantide-3c17fc5

OOC wrote: Bojack and Daenys if they are going to enter have been issued their first warning. This round took a bit longer, but going to be more strict with the 48 Hour condition from now on. Cheers. If you take out enemies, please use a spoiler for the enemies killed and if you use skills, don't forget to document them.

The explosion rattled on the ears of all present on the ship shortly after the meeting had concluded. The forces that had intercepted the ship docking directly beneath Atlantis had opened Bazooka type fire against the vessel. Four Bazooka holders in specific, each spread across a horizontal lining of troops, with ten sword fighter fishmen in between them, to total for an army of exactly, forty troops. The men had no real purpose or order for being at the dock, actually, they'd been plunder Atlantis inner chmabers, looking for a big lick to take back home to the boss, Oceanus. They'd noticed the ship moving from the North, the top of Atlantis outer sentinel to the East, and followed the ship towards the Southern dock. The force had a variety of strength levels among them, the four Bazooka holders sat on a rare breed of Fish, called Flying Fish (Tier 1 - Speed: 3). Their species name alone was self-explanatory, the remainder of the forces were rag-tag(Tier 0) forces who wanted to loot away from the squad captains, the Bazooka owners would open fire onto the vessel until the coating around the ship broke, however, it'd take them thirty seconds in between rounds for their Bazooka's cooldown and reload. This was the first obstacle for Porter's Army, however, the Long Leg's man had no time to waste. Releasing the docking port towards the stone carved deck, the legion of unknowns rushed to engage the enemies, Porter used this as a distraction and his party would advance through the mob of conflict, towards a Gigantic Golden Gate about thirty feet in height, which was slightly cracked open. Those who advanced through this gate would enter in Atlantis Southern Area, Triton.

Triton

Triton was the most lavish area of Atlantis, it was also the area which held the throne room of the Queen of Atlantis. Porter knew this, using his knowledge as an Ambassador to get to the task that was at hand. Once they exited the door, the posse would enter a blank white hallway which had to paths, left and right, Porter would turn right, giving this command to the remainder of the troops, "If you head left, it'll lead you to a staircase that'll put you on Bubble Dome Highway. Once you get into a Bubble Cart you can travel anywhere in Atlantis you wish. The Engine for this Quadrant is located to in a building called Rainy Weathers. It's a casino. It has three levels, the entrance, the ground floor below it and a cellar where the Engine is located. To the North using the highway is an Quadrant named, Despoine. The engine their is located in a place called King's Vault." Porter said, stopping for a moment. "Ugh. I don't have time for all of this explanation. Mimi take over, I'll begin my move towards the throne room." Porter declared, starting to become impatient. The forces broke at this fork, Porter headed right and would travel so for a couple hundred meters, before arriving to a staircase. There was a deeper meaning than simply activating the Weapons System, in the Throne Room, their was a map to something much more important than this countries governance or safety. For this map pointed to something or someone, only the lore truly knows, who has an ability that can ruin this whole world. Or was it seas, as the funny riddle went, Poseidon wept.

"Right." Mimi said sighing. "King's Vault is where our countries federal reserves are... It houses our Nations National Secrets and Treasure. This building is a large mansion, and it has four parts, three outer buildings and one inner building. From our reports, Oceanus men have taken the outer buildings while his higher ranked officers guard the inner one which possess the Engine in it's showroom. Meaning, as soon as you open the door, the Engine will be right before you. You can't miss either of these Engines, they're colossal, about Fifty Feet each." Mimi exclaimed. "As for the other two Engines, in the East and West Quadrants... Those ones might be a little more tricky to get to. The East is an underwater rain forest called Asopos. It's riddled with rare plants and animals... but it's also ridden with Sea Weevils.  They're Giant Beetles whose coats are said to be as tough as Diamond... and they're carnivorous and can fly. Note, the bubble highway doesn't travel into these parts. About fifty miles in, lies that engine. If we had some Mounted Fish, we could fly above the forest and avoid their nest. Destroy the engine with an aerial assault and leave. To the West, is a giant Amusement Park called Atlantopolis. There's really no obstacle there... It's just it takes at least three hours(two posts) to get their via the highway." Mimi stated. "Once we get to the surface, the choices are yours. Obviously, the closest is Rainy Weathers. Second, being the North since we have an express way(one post travel). I'm pretty much just your tour guide, so the choice is yours." Mimi concluded.

Triton - Left Route - Diplomat Office

As Porter and his group made it up the long winding staircase, a square door ended the posse's climb. Pushing upward, the door opened, allowing the group to surface. The room they would enter would be the Diplomat Office, three rooms down from the throne room. In the hallway, thousands of Fishmen raided and looted surrounding rooms, except this one, which was locked with a Seastone Clamp. The Diplomat Office was more of a giant ballroom, with thousands of desks separated in columns and rows. "Alright. There's only one way in and out of this room. I'll remove the clamp. Once we exit, head right. We'll charge directly for the throne room." Porter stated.

Ten Minutes Later By The Original Dock

In a distance, a pack of experienced Flying Fish Riders soaring through the skies of Atlantis Triton Quadrant, noticed a figure rising higher and higer towards the upper dome of this area. "Big Brother." one of the riders stated, nudging his brother who sat atop of a Flying Fish mounted. "Is that someone... Levitating. It looks like a dot from this position." the Brother inquired, dipping into the water below the express highway, before his Flying Fish leaped into the sky once again. The pack was about fifteen meters from Tenzen's Position. "Our orders are to eliminate anyone who looks out of place. Riders! To the South! OHEY!" the Older brother announced with glee, pulling his trident from his back. The force of twenty-five used their Flying Fishmen to close the distance, eventually arriving about five meters in range to see what the rising dot was. Once they identified the person as human, eight of the riders carrying Bazooka's would take aim, and unload fire towards the dock, human 'duck' hunting they'd laugh among themselves and joke.

He didn't think he'd be attack so early, but it was fine. But, he would be rash and quick. Releasing his overwhelming wrath, that he wanted to save, in the very instant they came into his view. But, he would leave one thing untouched."Fuck, I should've known they'd have some with the ability to fly. How foolish was I to underestimate them."

Tenzen would see a group begin to head toward, exuding bloodlust. He did get quite high into the air, around fifty meters. He had hoped that him taking to the skies from the docks, instead of somewhere within the city, would go unnoticed for a little while so that he could survey the entire city. But, things don't always go as planned and countermeasures should've been thought up before taking the ascension. This though did bring Tenzen back down to Earth, in more ways than one. He would no longer go into this thinking he was at the top of the food chain, but at the bottom. Not underestimating any foe he comes across. Tenzen also would stop heading upward, this being when his foes were at the ten meter mark. Tenzen, personally, didn't know the distance between them when he noticed them but that was it. He'd grip the hilt of his blade tighter. This wasn't to get ready to unsheathe his blade but rather hold back his physical rage and only allow his spiritual one to spread out.

After his attack would go and if it landed Tenzen would quickly pull himself to the only thing still within the air with him, the Flying mount of one of the Fishmen. He had purposely chosen not to have it be knocked out by his Haki, so that he could ride it. Not to ride it anywhere specifically yet, but so that he won't need to strain himself to fly. When he would mount it he would grab onto it's reign's tightly. This thing would have to be just like a Horse, which he was accustomed to riding, so he shouldn't have any problems with controlling it. And it bucking him, with his strength, would probably be impossible. At this moment he would speak and search around, from this height he could see some buildings. And he was no longer planning on heading all the way up, to survey the entire Kingdom. He didn't feel up to dealing with anymore Mounted fishman.  It wouldn't be long till another enemy spots him, or their comrades falling from the sky. But Tenzen didn't know where to go, or where he should go. He was in the south, so there should be a Engine here, but he didn't want to deal with this one. "Head this way!" Tenzen would say as he would force the Flying Mount to head toward the East, as he'd just go there. His Observation Haki was still active as a threat coming from below could happen again, or he could face some coming from anywhere within the sky. Under the assumption that he couldn't do anything previously stated, a enemy coming right at him after knocking those others out, he obviously do something completely different. Defending himself from any upcoming attacks being his main course of action.

Bojack

Bojack

Bojack...was in way over his head now. He had just received orders from The Frog to accompany him and Porter to the throne room in order to reactivate the weapon systems. He had then given out orders to the remaining Songbirds including the captain. This Frog obviously held a position of authority within the crew and had the full respect of the Captain. Bojack could definitely understand why, if the rumors that floated around held within them even a sliver of truth this amphibian is certainly a terrifying enemy and an equally valuable ally. If he was going to be working with Bojack, albeit from a position of authority, he was going to have to understand that there are certain ways he would prefer to be interacted with and none of those requirements had been met."If you are intent on working together in the future, I would appreciate at least respecting me enough to learn my name," Bojack complained to The Frog at a volume the was barely above a whisper. The two of them would still be able to hear him perfectly though, and he didn't care. Bojack understood that Hilda was higher in the Songbird's pecking order than he was but he didn't have time to deal with people who refused to afford him the same amount of respect as their other allies.

Regardless of The Frog's response, Bojack would grin and say,"I am actually eager to work with you, despite your rudeness." Bojack wasn't really worried about offending The Frog, he never really cared too much for sensitive people and their issues. "I have heard many a tale of your strength. I just hope they weren't all mere fabrications and you turn out to be nothing more than a tadpole. News like that would surely ruin my plans so I'm going to have to ask you to please not turn out to be pathetically weak in reality. Thank you." His statement over, Bojack would continue walking towards their goal without even analyzing the reactions of his fellow Songbird and his temporary compatriot.

After not much time (and an explanation so boring Porter gave up halfway through) they arrived in the Diplomat office. Once inside, Porter informed them that they would be charging the throne room immediately after exiting the room they were currently end. When they are about to enter the throne room, Bojack would raise his staff and whisper,"Now the fun can begin." When the attack began, Bojack stayed near the back and accessed the situation. He didn't do this in order to come up with some sort of strategy, because that wasn't his style. He just wanted to allow the others to begin the attack, and choose his first victim based on who was left or who was able to defeat their initial attacker.

For most of the sailing towards Atlantis, Daenys stayed near the back of the ship, watching as the water behind them went on for miles; she wasn’t sure what to expect once they reached Atlantis, but she knew what was there… And she didn’t know if she would be ready exactly… After recently getting her very first devil fruit, and all of the training she had done with Light Brother, she wasn’t exactly sure if she could amount to what the others were expecting… Yet something in her heart told her that she would be fine… Her father had given the fruit to Junbei, and left… She didn’t get to see him, and was unsure how long it would be before she would be able to see him again… If anything, he was several days ahead of them, but he was heading home… And they were heading to fight.

With a small sigh, she closed her eyes; her mind was all over the place… Part of her needed to show her own worth, but at the same time she couldn’t exactly be sure if she would be able to… What if she wasn’t strong enough? Out of all of them she wasn’t at all the strongest… She knew that much, but with her new found powers, she could be stronger than most… However that wasn’t what she wanted, her father gave her this fruit for the side effect, she had become immortal, and she knew he had been looking for some fruit for a long time, but she never knew it was for her… Nor did she know why he had wanted it, he had told her stories, when he was twenty, and a fresh pirate on the scene; he had come by someone who had this fruit they had called the ‘Hobi Hobi no Mi’, she never really understood what the interest in the fruit was, all he ever talked about was the fact the woman could turn others into toys…

But the taste wasn’t something she had been expecting for sure, it was so foul; but she was so eager to have it, her father had gotten her such a present, and it was a once in a life time opportunity. She could still taste the foulness of the fruit almost; it would be forever burned into her memory, which was for sure. However, she felt the ship slowing down; it had to be close to time for docking… She wasn’t ready, this was happening all too fast, she hadn’t had a chance to really try the fruit out, maybe she needed more time training with Light Brother, what exactly would she do at this point? She couldn’t at all be sure… Not now… But it was now or never, and she knew this place, wasn’t a place to be no hero.  She let out a small breath, that thought had given her an idea…

As she walked, she began to hum at first, in a low but steady ‘Hmmm’; after several moments of that, she let out and sang;

I can't see where you comin' from
But I know just what you runnin' from:
And what matters ain't the "who's baddest" but
The ones who stop you fallin' from your ladder, baby

And you feel like you feelin' now
And doin' things just to please your crowd,
When I love you like the way I love you,
And I suffer, but I ain't gonna cut you 'cause

This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero
To call “home.”

Her voice was always angelic, there wasn’t a question of that, it could sooth even the roughest of men and calm the crankiest of babies; her father always told her she had a gift of the gods, and that would be her true weapon, aside from her looks, as rare as they were. She gave off as small sigh as she walked towards the front of the ship; it wasn’t out of question that the crew at the front of the ship heard her song, although there wasn’t any time for discussion, ever if they did bring it up. As her heals clanked against the ships wooden floor boards, her heels were black, with the appearance of boots almost, but the skinny heel of the shoe was perhaps an one fourth of an inch wide, and four inches tall, pointed at the toe, lightly padded and a grip type sole… Furthering up her body, she wore jet black shorts, leather with tassels that went all the way to her ankles almost. Her mid-section was showing, as today she had on a black lace crop top, with mock neck and a fitted silhouette with bell sleeves that went all the way down to her wrists, puffing out just around her elbow, they gave off a sense of elegance. However the top part of the shirt barely covered her top area, ending just below her breasts, with a small line of lace tight against her pale snowy skin.

Around her neck was a simple black choker with diamonds dangling just under it, held by threads of black; the necklace itself was silk, and soft to the touch, barely bothering her that it was held tightly against her skin, and she knew it wouldn’t leave any form of a mark behind, however if she were to battle any time soon, it might just leave a two small lines around her neck, but the thought didn’t bother her, it was a sign that she worked hard. From her neck, her makeup was done in such a way to really show off her true beauty, her hair was held back by two braids put together, the truly white silverish hair fell down her back, soft and not a single hair out of place, she held a small black band around her wrist, as a just in case for she might end up putting it up all the way, as hair was always something that could be held against her at the end of the day, with its length, it could easily be pulled.

When she finally reached the area that the rest of the group was in, she stood; silently at first, listening to what each person had to say, she didn’t want to comment on anything until she was sure it was her time to speak. She knew the dangers that would come with all of this; she knew how dangerous the Fishmen were, however this would always be her first time actually seeing one… As not many would show up around Dressrosa, or on her travels around the small bits of the world; she had always been curious of what they looked like, and her father had spoke about them once or twice, always warning her that they were the type of people to be caught around. As they were normally taken as salves by the Celestial Dragons, or by the actual slavers that sold them to the world nobles… Her father talked about how they were proud people, and that was almost the only thing going for them… She never really paid much attention to his words, as from all she had gathered, he wasn’t all too fond of them but he always told her that was a story for another day; however that day never came it had seemed… Maybe after this day, she would understand.

However, when Junbei handed her the ‘Baby Den Den Mushi’; she smiled at the small creature; it was a light shade of pink, and its’ black eyes peered at her. It was an adorable, yet slightly ugly creature; but it didn’t bother her very much. She watched it carefully at first, and then placed it on her shoulder; if only for a moment to remove a tassel from her shorts; once more placing it back on her wrist, she wrapped the tassel around the baby den den mushi, and tied a tight bow, making sure not to harm the creature. After this, she took another tassel; from the opposite side of her shorts, and broke it in half, tying it around its neck, once more in a small bow, however this one was much looser than the one holding it to her wrist. However, the conversation about Oceanus was still fresh in her mind… She needed to be focused on what was to come. Light Brother had be leaning up against the cabin doors when she walked to the back of the ship; and it still stood there in all of its eight feet of glory. She walked quietly over to it, and grabbed it, it seemed weightless to her now, she had been doing quite a lot of training recently, and really began to understand how to use it much better; she hadn’t realized until this moment that the staff to her now, was in fact weightless. She never felt more proud of herself in this moment, she almost screamed in joy, but knew she had to keep herself calm, if she got to excited; who knew what would happen.

As she calmly walked back towards the group, she spoke softly, “I suppose I could head towards Atlantopolis…” She smiled weakly at her amethyst colored eyes looked at them.  “Three hours of travel doesn’t sound all that bad.” She laughed to herself almost, her grip tightened around Light Brother… It was nearly show time.

Lin found herself near the front of the 'distraction' that allowed the rest to pass. It didn't seem like the Fishmen there were part of Oceanus' regular troops as they were... disappointingly weak. Even holding back, the martial artist found herself felling members of the ragtag forces with single well-placed blows as their group advanced. There was no point trying to take out every enemy though as they were in a hurry to get to the city itself. Only those who stood directly in their path. Before long they made it through the huge golden gates and into the southern area. She stretched her arms a bit as she walked, their earlier welcoming party serving as nothing more than a quick exercise. The bigger names in the group probably felt the same as she spotted a few of them either grinning or looking like they were itching for more action.

As they traversed the hall, Porter gave more details on the mission before handing the rest of the explaining over to his secretary as his own party split off from the group to head to the supposed throne room. It seemed they were splitting up again as the different places where the engines were located were too far apart for the whole group to tackle one at a time. It made more sense that they tried to take them out simultaneously. Lin was confident she could take one out. Maybe two if she was lucky. The question now was which one to go for first. Where was an officer of Oceanus' crew most likely waiting? Probably somewhere important. Going by the descriptions she got from the secretary, next to the throne room where Porter's group was heading, the other most important location was the King's Vault. That would be her pick. She walked over to the secretary speaking to her for the first time since the recruitment.

"The King's vault... Do you happen to have a map or detailed schematics of the buildings?" She spoke in a tone of voice slightly higher pitched than her normal voice as this was part of her cover. "I understand it's probably a national secret but this isn't really the time to fuss about that right? From what you've said about the place, my talents will probably work best with clearing the objective there, but I could use more detailed information."

She waited for the secretary to respond and/or hand over what she requested. Lin would then thank her for her cooperation if she did, or her time if she did not. She was not going to argue the point further if the lady insisted to keep things secret. At the very least Lin wasn't a notorious pirate like the others so she hoped that they would trust her a little bit more. After that quick exchange she would head over to the highway to take the express way to Despoine along with the rest of the group that chose the same location. These were probably the bravest of the lot, as going by the information given to them, they were guaranteed to run into higher ranked officers of Oceanus' forces there.

The secretary wasn't joking when she said the express way was quick. Lin was expecting to run into trouble on the way but the Bubble Cart she was on just zoomed through the road without any problems. She even noticed a few 'racing' their carts to their destination but she paid them no mind. This could be their last bit of fun before the big fight so it was up to them if they wanted to enjoy it.

As the Yonko exited the vessel, walking along the wooden plank to the dock, he noticed that everyone charged ahead quite quickly into engaging the Bazooka carrying Fishmen. Was it the smell of gunpowder and blood in the air that made men yearn for bloodshed and carnage? Nonetheless, Junbei's heart stood calm and collected, as much as he strayed away from his path of spiritual enlightenment in becoming a pirate, his connection his various past lives brought him a calm base tone in his soul's voice. After walking a few meters, about ten away from docking platform, he'd reaching for his Funky Jammer from his back, and ripped into a soothing lullaby tune which reminded him the most of Isabella, the song they'd composed together all those years ago. Amplified by the Painotar, the music rushed through the stone platform's surface area, having an echo effect due to the thickness and emptiness of the room, spanning over twenty-five hundred meters, white came to the pupils of all those who heard the pickings of the humble musician's offerings. He'd be confident that the men who accompanied Porter and his crew would be able to withstand his sound, which would instantly make the weak of will fall asleep. Clearing a path ultimately, the remainder of his men followed suit, Daenys among them would catch up with Junbei, the sound of the diamonds dangling on her choker wasn't a sound any could hear but his ears, turning to the cook, he could see her eyes were resolved for combat. "Rishi Rishi... Everyone looks so serious. Including you Dae." Junbei commented. Advancing pass the sleeping troops, Daenys song already making most who'd hear drowsy, Junbei and the remainder of the Songbird's passed through the golden gates, which had a Fish Etched into door, where they handles? Maybe. Only those who the knew the story of Atlantis could verify that.

Tightening his green scarf, wrapped around his forehead, he'd listen to Porter explain only momentarily but then stop abruptly, was this Throne room truly so important? It seemed as Junbei etched along, he'd only have more questions knocking around in his brain. Bojack was complaining to Hilda, or about something or the other, Junbei would turn towards the two, "Don't die Bobo. Frog... Go easy on them." the Auburn Songbird would comment sighing near the end of the sentence, more afraid for his enemies than his own crew's safety. All of them were capable, he'd have the utmost faith he could just go wild and have no worries they'd make it back. His secretary took over the explanation, and it was at this point Junbei would press his Baby Den Den on, relaying the conversation to it's designated caller. After Mimi had concluded, Daenys stated that she wanted to go to Atlantopolis, the amusement Park area, however, the Yonko had other plans in mind, it was at this point he'd end the call. "Rishi Rishi... I think I'll take this Rainy Waters Place. A casino with a giant Engine in it's cellar. Sounds like a place I'd have fun thrashing." Junbei concluded. "I'll have the remainder of the Troops go with you Daenys. They're a rowdy bunch but they have hawk eyes when it comes to shooting." Junbei stated. "Nico. You're with me." Junbei said grinning. "Oh... What a joy..." Nico exclaimed sighing. "I could always go with Goddess Dae!" Nico said drooling like a puppy. "Nah. Your with me." Junbei said smiling, grabbing and dragging Nico by his collar, turning left, walking alongside Daenys and the other recruits until they'd make it towards the staircase. "If anything happens Dae... Just call me. I'll come right over. Though... With that gift from your dad... and your smarts... You might be better off than me. Rishi Rishi." Junbei said laughing. Making to the staircase, the groups surfaced, before them was a large expressway filled with Bubbles soaring along strong metallic strings, connecting building to building, it was truly a sight to behold. Whistling in astonishment, everyone broke off into groups, about five meters from their current surfacing position, they were panels sticking out the ground, each had a smooth surface for a face at it's pinnacle, and it glow endlessly, walking closer, Junbei noticed that each of these scattered panels had a map of the city. Each Bubble Cart led to another area, Cart T-45 apparently led to Rainy Waters, and by pressing on the screen, he could retract a Bubble Cart to take him to an area, interesting.

Pressing on the button for that district, within seconds the ride arrived. Entering into the bubble cart, Junbei sat on side seats provided, each cart could hoist about ten people at max. With Nico and Junbei only, it'd be more than enough. However, eight of Junbei's own men opted to travel with the Captain to make sure he didn't go to wild. With the ten seats filled and more carts being summoned, Junbei's forces headed towards the Casino. The bubble cart sped away, Junbei would look towards Daenys on the platform winking as the cart pulled off. Resting back against the seat, he'd started to become a bit excited, what stress could he further cause Oceanus? The thought alone made the Yonko smile to himself as the Cart pulled along. Meanwhile another Songbird who'd everyone had long forgotten was putting her plan into place. Staying behind on the vessel, Octavia waited about a full half hour before making her move. Sitting in the empty hallway with two paths, after passing the Golden Doors, she'd sit on the floor, waiting for Junbei's call.

The amphibian would lean close to her captain, as the sound of his whispered voice filled her ear, taking the offered baby den den, she would strap it to her own wrist as Junbei did the same. Upon Bojack speaking, he would release a croaky laugh, nodding at the confidence of this new songbird. "I saved a crew members life two times in a row during the Gubo incident, i learned his name and he died out of sheer stupidity moments later. Prove to me your names worth remembering" The frog said. Though it would seem this was enough, for the one known as Bojack would continue to speak, revealing his exctiement to be working with her, before then stating he hoped that he was not indeed a tadpole, and essentially not to let him down. Pondering this for a moment, the frog debated on simply showing a small portion of her power, making Bojack kneel before him. Yet he refrained. He was not one to simply waste precious energy on such trivial matters."The same to you mr...." though his name was already within his head, the frog refrained from saying it. Instead he turned his attention to the one whom they would be following. "Octavia, keep close, if i have to go wild, I'd rather you where around to make sure things don't get as bad as last time" the frog said, reference the time in gubo that she and Laz had both been rather badly injured.

The amphibian and Junbei seemed to hold off on rushing into battle, The frog stood by his captain as the sound filled the area, he had become accustomed to the songs that the man played, fighting against the effects seemed to be second nature to him at this point, so as those whom rushed forth did so, the frog would remain close to Porter, being the key to their victory as well as you know, the guy they needed to take them to their destination. Leaving him alone just seemed to be the silliest of moves. "Your going to stick by me, you are to either walk by my side, or one foot in front or behind, no more, if you die, out chances go from looking good, to downright shite" The amphibians deep throat boomed forth as he looked to Porter. Once the threat was neautralized and a path had opened up the sonbirds moved forth crowding into the place known as Triton, where it seemed they would begin to take their seperate ways. After Porters explanation, Bojack would motion and actually state for them to go, to this Hilda would nod. "Don't do anything stupid, and keep your eyes on the prize" Hilda uttered, looking to Junbei as she spoke, she motioned to her den den mushi upon her wrist and nodded. "Call if you need us, Nico, make sure he doesn't do anything too stupid" The froak croaked as she looked to Bojack and Octavia, "Lets get on, lead the way Porter" The frog said.

It was kinda sad, she wanted to ride the bubble cart and she would make this known as they walked up the never ending winding stair case. "Everyone else gets to go flying on a bubble, but no, we have to walk up stairs. I always pick the boring jobs" she said sighing, her ken haki of course activated. She had so far fought not a single enemy, nice right. She would listen to Porter who explained about the clamp, that once they opened it, they had to get down the hall and to the throne room. Nodding, Porter removed the clamp and the door swung open, striking the wall on the other side with a massive thump, echoing around. Waving her hand, The frog would walk forward, being the first to enter the hall way. The hall way was about 25 meters long, and fishman of a mass number began to pour from them. Thus halting what would be a simple charge. Though Hilda simply continued to walk forward, naturally a reputation as large as hers brought in some hesitation, the fishman knew that Oceanus had wanted to recruit the frog, and that Tidus had been bested during his pursuit of the fruit user.

"No one going to act first? he said with a croak, sighing softly before the first fishman attempted to make his move. He jumped forth, yet fell just as quick. The will of the frog burst forth, flowing over the entire hall way, instantly ridding the entirety of the of the fishman army whom had crowded around, dropping each and everyone of them to the floor. Thus clearing the hall way and the adjacent rooms, alas though.....this also meant that the other sonbirds where effected, all bar sixteen being the limit to how many she could protect. Porter, Octavia, Bojack obviously being made priority. "Those still standing, wake our fallen, Porter, new guy, Octavia. Lets go" The amphibian uttered.

[Event|Task|Mini-Arc] Fight for Atlantis! Atlantide-3c17fc5

OOC wrote:
One of Four Engines having been activated. Six Posts until Atlantis Sinks.

Triton - Rainy Waters

"Is it finished yet?" Ren would inquire, tapping her foot against the ground impatiently pouting her cheeks outward. The woman's skin shone almost metallic in any form of light, it's moss green look, almost left a flossy finish compliments of her tropical fish genetics of the Pirate Pearch. Her body was glad in a Titanium Armour, painted Blue to represent her favourite colour, nothing deeper. As an expert in Fisherman Karate, her skills were superb when it came to hand on hand combat, she was a lethal force, one that wasn't to be underestimated. "Almost Miss Ren. These engines are made of a lost technology... It's not exactly mechanics you can find on every day shelves. Whoever destroyed them last really didn't want Atlantis to move ever again." the Scientist Angler Fishman Leader, with a glowing sensor coming out of his head flickering on and off in frustration. "With the blueprints... It's pretty in the bag however, it was lucky we planted spies within Atlantis walls." the Sharp Tooth Fishman said, chuckling as his men tinkered away at the gears. "Of course. After Tidus failed... Oceanus is pissed beyond comparison. He's busy plotting for the World Government, he doesn't have time to deal with minuscule missions like this. After all, once Atlantis is under our control, we can use it's weapons system to break into Impel Down with ease... and free that idiot Tidus." Ren commented, sighing.

Rainy Waters, a two floor casino, with a ground floor for regular players, a basement for big rollers and black market trades and a hidden lower level where the government and various ambassadors of Atlantis keep the Engine under lock and key. The facility is surrounded by a moat of water, trailing around the building in a circular fashion. To the East of the building, the only legal entrance is where the Bubble Carts docked, to a platform which hovers about twenty feet off the ground. A connectable bridge from the platform to the facility, floats patrons towards the large palace, where it's gates made of pure Atlantian Gold shone bright underneath the weltering sun.

The ground floor was about 10,000 Square Foot, styled in a French Chateau type look, much like everything in Atlantis, it would seem that various societies had borrowed architecture styles from them. In the centre of the room was an elevator which lead to the Dark Broker Room and below their was a padded locked door which had a single staircase which lead to the basement. This was where Ren was currently positioned, waiting for her men to complete the first Engine. On outskirts of the building by the entrance stood, 50 T2 Fishmen, 50 Tier 1 Flying Fish Mounted Fishmen and 15 T2 Flying Fish Mounted  and all armed with Tridents, Spears, Katanas, Pistols, Rifles and Bazookas to name a few.

The Flying Fishmen's brigade floating around the building, using their Flying Fish to leap immense heights. On the inside guarding the elevator were ten Tier 3 Squad Leaders assigned specifically as Ren's personal aid. On the bottom floor, as stated was Ren with the workers, she'd need no personal guard, as she could handle herself. For anyone to dock by the Bubble Cart station in this current siege was unlikely, on the inside, swarms of Fishmen Grunts subdued to patrons that were in the Casino upon the morning time of the attack. It was safe to say that any Bubble Cart that landed on the platform would be subjected to Open Fire from the Flying Fishmen Troops who possessed Firearms and Bazookas. It would be upon arrival, no delay in fire and Ren would be instantly informed of the situation on the outside.

Triton Throne Room

In the hallway, intruders could've been seen coming from the Diplomat Office, the next serious of events happens strictly due to the meticulous nature of Luso. The grunts further to the back of the twenty five meter long hallway would knock three times on the Throne Room's Door, which they guarded, alerting the grunts on the inside that they're was indeed an intruder within the hallway. At that moment, precisely before Hilda began her five meter walk into the fleet of forces, a grunt would scream out inside the room, "BOSS! Intruder!" the grunt shouted at the top of his Amphibian Lungs. Sitting on the steps below the throne, the colossal seventeen foot man simply opened his shut double lidded eyes. Revealing his bloodshot Cornea's and Piercing Obsidian Irises, "Ugh... I should've slept last night... I ended spending all night freaking out about this fucking mission." Luso exclaimed.

Scratching his neck, the man would yawn, this yawn would signal the beginning for a lot of things. As soon as the attacker activated their Haoshoku Haki, Luso would expand his Kenbunshoku Haki over three hundred meters, creating an interception in where he'd perceive the fierce warrior's will. At his current position, ten meters away from the door's entrance, his sitting height around ten feet, as his long legs bunged together, like two steel bricks. Expanding his compound eyes, he'd monitor the door's entrance and keep mental track of those on the outside of the door. Only four signatures remained active, an aura he knew very well and three other unknowns. At this point, the party hadn't move, and it would take them sometime to make it to the door and open it. Reaching at his waist for a large canister, the Spitting Fishman filled his cheeks with about 1 Liter worth of water, which gave him exactly ten water bullets to spit fire. If anyone was to enter the room, he'd direct his lips in their general direction, noted not all of the bullets would hit, however the ones that did would be met with an interesting trace element in water, a deadly venom secreting into his jawlines simultaneously as water trailed into the man's fish temple's floors.

The bullets would only be fired after the first person entered, not before that time. If the signatures didn't enter the room, that'd be fine too, as Luso wasn't in a hurry, he'd had all the time in the world, after all, time was in his favour, not theres. They'd move with rifle like precision, piercing through iron with ease having only slight ripping effect on materials steel and higher, the bullets moving at Tier 4 Speeds. Though he had all these bullets available, he could only spit one at a time. Nonetheless, this was an opening challenge off wills and skill-sets. If they'd make it pass the first test, another one lied in the waiting, a blinding light so bright for fools who travelled too close of a half score near to the Colossal Sentinel. Behind him however, was the throne of Atlantis, after ascending ten steps, it's golden stature, hid a prize beneath it, for all who could move it would give Atlantis a fighting chance.

Despoine - King's Vault

The situation in the North was utter chaos, the bulk of the Atlantian Forces who were seemingly missing in the other areas in the city were trying to fight off the Forces who docked from above them using their Flying Fishmen, leaving the King's Vault Castle in delirious predicament. The Three Outer Buildings rooftops were ridden in bodies of Oceanus and Atlantis troops. The National Guard fought their hardest to suppress Oceanus men but with no resources placed into building the Army, their wasn't much strong forces remaining in Atlantis, just a one shot pony with their high end weapons system, which was rendered useless. And it was because of this situation that the forces at Despoine had completed their mission first. They'd fixed the engine in the North, and it was at this moment, that everywhere in Atlantis, no matter how far, a loud earthquake shook the whole island. The outer buildings was guarded by a swarm of lower ranking Oceanus forces, mostly because their Captains had done the work. The remainder of the Flying Fishmen units hopped from Building to Building, keep a keen eye on the Bubble Carts. The expressway which led to the King's Vault was in clear view of all the buildings, so they could tell someone was coming from about twenty-meters from their position. In last few hours, no Cart's dared to dock, and those who approached whether solider or citizen was blown up from the Castles Sangrenel Cannons.

Cannons on the Outer Wall:

For those who made it to the dock, Explosive Shell fire would await, however, it'd take moments to aim, being that the dock was in the blindspot of two of the buildings, as only the centre had Sangrenel's at their disposal. Meaning only the centre could fire at the docked personages, and it was all about the correct timing. However, it'd take true smarts to make it pass the onslaught, the parties approaching would have meters before the forces Twenty-Five meter mark to decide a way out.

Asopos

Man-Eating Sea Weevils :

The force of the wakening Engine awoke another threat in Atlantis, not only for the saviours but the invaders. Since Ancient Times, the Engines being turned off had kept in slumber a rare species of man eating Sea Weevils. What happened next was nothing short of a massacre, the awakening Weevils began to feed on all life within the Forest contents. The Pack of Fifty Beetles raided on the engine troops, wiping them out in minutes. Carnage, it was a scene that'd make most sick to their stomach as the Fishmen's insides splattered on the Engine, which was docked in a ten foot crater several kilometres into the Forest depths. Right now, the skies were indeed the safest of places for now, until the Weevils ran out of Fishmen to feed on. Anyone who'd come into the Weevils range of Fifty Diameter sensory would become the new prey, as the beetles only feast on humans who they've killed within three minutes of their heart stopping. The special chemicals released upon their death through fear and chaos bring the Beetles a chemical high that makes their wings flutter frantically, like a junkie would after it's fix. The Beetles blood red compound eyes only allowed them to see however about several inches in front of them, everything else seemed far away and distant.

"HOLY FUCK. CALL REN OR LUSO! We've lost the-" the Squad Commander shouted his last words before the beetles ripped off his head with it's extended leg.

Daenys smiled at Junbei softly, and spoke almost as soft, “I wouldn’t call it seriousness, but rather… Determined, I don’t plan on dying today…” She gave a small laugh, though it wasn’t that anything was funny, or perhaps the thought of not dying was the funny thing? Who really knew what the laugh was truly about, as she didn’t have an answer… And she might not ever find that answer. Having given her farewell to Bojack and The Frog, she wondered if she would end up seeing them before this day was over… She wondered if she would see anything; but her mind was already set on movement towards the amusement park, she wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when she got there, but come hell and high water, she wasn’t going to stop until they were all dead.  As they began to walk towards the large stair cause, Daenys began to wonder what would happen at her final destination, would it be victory? Or defeat? Would she find herself dying or truly living? Her biggest fear was how much she would enjoy the feeling of killing… Her father was that type of man, the one who once enjoyed squeezing the life out of another man, to watch as the life slowly slips away into a darkness that one can see in their eyes… He once described it as watching a light slowly fade out and dim into darkness… She hadn’t ever done it before, never killed… Would she still have a soul? Or would today be the day she made her first deal with the devil.

When Junbei spoke up once again, she nodded; though not that she agreed… His men should have gone all with him; he was the Captain after all the more with him would mean the better the chance of survival… She closed her eyes; in total she would have twenty men, that’s all she would need, twenty good men. When Nico spoke up, she smiled softly; of course he’d be nothing but a distraction, to worry about her… However, a small cringe when he blurted how ‘Goddess Dae’, but she spoke not a word of it, instead her eyes took to Junbei’s after they had finished walking, stopping in front of the expressway, this was where they would part ways… It had to happen, though she feared for her brother, “If something happens, I will call Junbei,” She reached out, just to grip his had to give it a tight squeeze, “I expect the same from you, big brother. I also expect you to return to me, and the rest of your family… Do not die in this war, Junbei… There are many more to come.” She smiled softly, lightly kissing his check before he would enter a bubble and leave. With a sigh and twenty men, she would then follow suit and load up; it would be a long trip to the park, but a longer fight. She needed to prepare herself, mind, body and soul. This was going to be fight of her life, and she wasn’t about to go down before she started.

As the bubbles finally took off, she knew there was no turning back, Light brother was leaned up against her arm, and men surrounded her, and behind her bubble was another bubble of the men who would follow. This was a time to rest, for the next three hours would be nothing but the calm before the war. As slowly as she could, she closed her eyes; it would only be but to rest for a moment… Little did she know how exhausted she had really gotten, the moment her eyes were closed, she was out like a light. Her dream world was even riddle in panic and war, sorrows and death… For the next three hours would this be her fate? Suck in a dreamland that caused nothing but grief and pain…
