He also wore his signature outfit, but it was more clean and neatly fitted that when he had originally come to this establishment. His injuries had healed as well, especially the ribs on his right side. He was grateful for the doctors helping heal the damage he had sustained before in his confrontation with Steele while he remained incarcerated in Baterilla's jail. He even has his blue backpack swung over his shoulders, holding essential item, such as food, water, first-aid, and much more. When the doors of he jail managed to finally open all the way, he simply took a few steps out into the warm sunlight and the blissful breezes of the beautiful outdoors. When he did, he took a quick stop on where he stood and breathed in the fresh air before him. He then, exhaled gently. An entire day in prison felt more, like a month to him. It may have been a short amount of time he had spent in that prison, but now he knew what it felt like for most criminals. The jail of Impel Town must be unbearable to ordinary enemies of the government.
After he was done momentarily taking in the lovely breezes that flowed passed his chocolate brown face, the adolescent pirate began his progression of traversing over the stone pavement. Most accurately, it was on a road in one of the streets of Baterilla that lead to the jail on one end, but the other was a complete mystery to him. This was due to the fact that he was previously chained up in a mobile cage that was headed to the same jail he spent an entire day in earlier. While he was able to walk after he recent ordeal with the Ensign, Steele, both of his legs were still sore and needed much time to heal as well. They were no longer broken, they were realigned and the pain once felt is starting to fade. However, there was still a soreness with each step he took. It didn't matter to him, of course, since pain will fade and close, like a wound just before it seals shut. He had only himself blame for his current condition. It all started when he challenged those marine, who, unbeknownst to him, had a person who had eaten a Devil Fruit. It was a Zoan-Type, giving him the power to transform into a beetle. This boy didn't know that such a small animal had such power, bu, of course, his opponent was within his hybrid form.
With each step he took, small spikes of pain immediately jolted upward to his nervous system, signaling him on how excruciating the soreness was. He continued to brave through this current ordeal he was facing with himself. Enduring this type of suffering would just make him stronger. Eventually this fire in his legs with soon dissipate and be replace by a stronger pair of legs at his disposal. He kept his current expression stern, hiding the reactions that may follow from the painful strides he took. He was so focused on maintain a straight face that he currently had no interest of examining the background to his small voyage. Then, a certain reminder his hit him almost with the velocity of the a gunshot. The realization was so shocking, he stop where he was. He remembered the woman he spoke to, who had a job in selling fruit. He wonders, if she had received the news of his previous capture. Then again, she may not have and that it was unable to reach her in time. He will soon find out when he once again reunites with her at her family's inn, which she told him about when he last spoke to her.
"Oh dear, I wonder, if that lady I had a pleasant conversation with before knows of my recent capture. She must be very upset. In that case, I shouldn't dwindle him much longer. I should probably get her now. She must be worried about what may happened to me." The young warrior thought, wondering how the beautiful woman was taking his previous capture, if she managed to find out about it after she had meet him earlier. He decides not to waste anymore time just standing in the middle of a road he was walking on. He soon returned to traversing through the island, each step becoming faster by the moment. These steps soon form into a running dash. He still felt the pain of his previous injuries and as such he wasn't as fast as before, but he will soon return to his original speed with given time. This was his variation on physical therapy, which he thought of as a way for his legs to go back to their usual healthy condition. After all, he can't just walk everywhere, he had to run. As he rushed through the streets of Baterilla, he altered the angle of his gaze, examining his surroundings to see where he was going.
