"Aaand you're clear to leave, Mr. Smith." The doctor said removing his stethoscope and putting it around his neck. "Thanks doc." Cedric said. "You should be thanking that man who brought you in here." The doctor said. "Now gather your crap and get outta here, you're taking up space." The doc said, changing tone quickly. " Enjoyed having you around though." he said changing back. " Now get lost." He said leaving the room.
Cedric gathered his stuff. Well, his new stuff. Most of his things had been lost in the fire that broke out from that fight. Whoever had dropped him off there had left a very basic change of clothes for him consisting of a large, black T-shirt with the word "Swim" in blue lettering. Some tan shorts, and some cheap flip flops. Cedric looked at himself in the mirror in his room after getting the regular clothes on. 'How appropriate." He thought when he saw the word on the shirt. He stared at his reflection in the mirror for a moment. He touched his fingers to the burn marks he'd gotten from the fight that put him in here. His fists tightened and he sighed shaking his head. He couldn't believe that he'd let his guard down that low, or that he couldn't do anything to get free of that sticky crap. He turned away from the mirror before his now looser temper got the better of him. He walked out of the room with a burning determination in his chest.
Cedric walked out of the hospital back into the relatively quiet streets of the Briss Kingdom. Cedric was in thought. He somehow needed to get back into contact with the revolutionaries, he didn't know if they knew he was alive or not. They probably knew. He somehow had to make up for his lost time, but he also wanted to get some training in to relieve some of the stress and energy that'd been building while he was in recovery. His train of thought was broken off when he heard a yell from down an alley. " Help!" That was quickly muffled and followed up by a metallic ping. Cedric tightened his fist and then relaxed it. Maybe he'll find a release for that energy a little sooner he thought as he stepped into the alley the yell for help had echoed down.
